Yuzu's eyes brightened. If he only cared about himself, then torturing him to death might give the greatest satisfaction.

"Do you have any family?" Li Yao asked with a devilish grin.

So his mother gave birth to him at twenty—possibly even nineteen.

"Are your sisters ninja?" Li Yao asked next.
"No."
"Are they married?"
"No."
"What about your father?"

"How did your father die?" Li Yao asked.
Renza became emotional. "He didn't deserve to be my father! He didn't deserve her—Mother is—"

"She's the most beautiful woman in all of Kumogakure," Renza said with unshakable pride. It was clear—he truly believed no one was worthy of his mother.
"You care deeply about her?"
"Yes."
"You want her to remarry?" Li Yao grinned, his expression growing more disturbing.
"No," Renza answered without hesitation.
Under the illusion's influence, Renza had let go of all his inhibitions, pouring out every hidden thought.
He didn't just want to control his mother—he didn't want her to marry anyone. The same went for his sisters.
No man was worthy of them.
