Chapter 223: Black Hole Space Chakra
"Eh? Uncle, you changed back!"
Seeing Li Yao return to his original form, Koyuki was visibly delighted. But then, as if realizing something, her smile faded a little, and she murmured with a hint of disappointment, "It's Transformation Jutsu, right?"
After all, Transformation Jutsu was still just a technique—it could never truly replicate the real body.
As if reading her mind, Li Yao suddenly pulled her close and pressed forward with a grin. "Why don't you feel for yourself whether it's just a transformation?"
"U-U-Uncle…" Koyuki buried her head, face flushing red. At that moment, she realized—this transformation felt very different. Her voice even became soft and bashful.
Unbelievable as it sounded, ever since they joined Akatsuki, it had been over two years since they'd experienced any intimate moments.
Now, with just a little teasing, Koyuki's full and juicy body instantly responded.
Before long, the clay bird flying at 5,000 meters altitude began to jolt and wobble strangely—like a crazed bird in mating season, desperate and insatiable.
Time passed in a blur.
Two hours later.
The clay bird, its "mating attempt" failed, finally steadied its flight path.
As for the two on its back—they had just completed their "sacred mission" and now lay utterly spent.
Li Yao sprawled out in a "大" shape on the soft clay bird's back, still radiating warmth and heat.
Koyuki clung to him like a boneless octopus, breathing gently.
Her delicate face rested on Uncle's chest, listening to his strong, steady heartbeat. The warmth, the scent—it was all just like before.
Such an incredible Transformation Jutsu.
Wonderful.
Koyuki thought to herself: with this marvelous transformation technique, she could always feel Uncle's familiar presence.
"Oh right, Uncle, where are we going now?" she asked suddenly. She noticed the clay bird had been flying without pause.
Li Yao gently kneaded her softness, relaxing both body and mind. In response to her question, he said casually, "Konoha."
"Oh." She nodded, not asking why—just curious.
Then she remembered the fight earlier—when Li Yao had been struck by Madara's Storm Release: Light Fang, yet emerged completely unscathed. Her curiosity rose again.
"Uncle, how did you do that? I clearly saw that white beam slice right through you, but you weren't hurt at all."
"You mean that?"
Li Yao chuckled, lifting his arm to her. "Touch it and see for yourself."
Koyuki curiously reached out.
"Eh…"
She seemed to sense something strange.
Her fingers glided across Li Yao's arm—but there was no sensation of skin. Instead, her hand passed straight through it.
Eyes wide, she tried to grip his arm—only to grasp empty air. She propped herself up, her hands sweeping back and forth—his arm was like air, intangible.
Yet she was still resting on his chest, and could feel the warmth radiating from it before actual contact. But as soon as she reached his skin, it turned into something like a realistic afterimage—visible, warm, but untouchable.
"So strange!!!"
"Uncle, how did you do this?!"
Koyuki turned, full of astonishment. Now she understood why he wasn't harmed by that Light Fang attack. But her curiosity only grew.
As she caressed his firm chest and played with his seemingly intangible arm, the blend of real and unreal was fascinating.
Li Yao laughed and hugged her close. "This is—"
Just as he was about to explain that it was a technique derived from the fusion of the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing and storage-space chakra—Black Hole Space Chakra—his mind suddenly flashed to how the Sage of Six Paths created the Pure Land, accepting only shinobi souls.
He paused.
Thinking it wise to hold back, he quickly said instead, "It's a new variation of the Hydration Technique I developed."
"Hydration Technique?" Koyuki blinked, confused. "Is it really that amazing?"
She knew the original technique. It wasn't nearly as incredible as what Li Yao had done.
Still… she looked up at him. Being the smart girl she was, she didn't press. She quietly leaned against his chest, enjoying their rare, peaceful moment.
"Sigh…"
"I really should've kept that spatialization trick to myself… couldn't resist showing off."
Li Yao felt a pang of mild regret. Not full-blown remorse, but in hindsight, he should've kept more abilities hidden.
Even though the late stages of Naruto were all about raw power, information still mattered—especially when your ability could match your strength.
Like how Obito's Kamui worked—if Kakashi hadn't deduced the connection, no one could've defeated Obito in that form.
Li Yao named the newly fused chakra from the sealing and storage-space chakra "Black Hole Space Chakra."
Its effects were exactly what the name suggested. The black matter he formed resembled fluid manifestations of black hole energy—capable of compressing and consuming all things.
It could even spatialize his body.
Unlike Obito's Kamui-space intangibility—
Where Obito temporarily shifted parts of his body into the Kamui dimension during attacks to avoid damage—
Li Yao's body was more like an elementalized fluid of black hole space energy. His body wasn't being transferred away—it had literally become an alternative substance.
This gave him near-total immunity to physical attacks.
Even Truth-Seeking Orbs and Sage Mode techniques couldn't harm him.
Only one weakness remained: spatial attacks.
Spatial-based jutsu could disrupt his black hole body, much like how Armament Haki could make Logia users take physical damage.
Originally, this weakness wouldn't matter—as long as he didn't show this ability, no one would create specific counters.
If discovered only at the final battle, it would be too late.
Unfortunately, he couldn't resist showing it off when he mastered it—and Madara had seen it.
Madara would now definitely analyze how Li Yao evaded the Light Fang, and once he figured it out, he'd look for its weakness.
Thankfully, it was still difficult to counter.
Only Obito's Kamui had true offensive space ability in the original series.
So logically, Li Yao should destroy Madara and Black Zetsu's plan, even kill Obito in Konoha before Kamui ever awakens—eliminating his only weakness.
But… without Kamui, that risk was removed.
The problem?
The Ōtsutsuki clan had no shortage of spatial powers.
Looking ahead, Li Yao's true enemies were the future invaders—the Ōtsutsuki.
So rather than eliminating Kamui, it was better to copy it for himself—combine it with Black Hole Space Chakra, and develop even more powerful spatial jutsu.
That would give him a real fighting chance against what was to come.
"Still, from now on, I shouldn't reveal new space abilities—or my illusion and sealing techniques either."
"Both of those could be deadly trump cards. Especially Uchiha's Izanagi—it's basically god-tier."
"If used at the right time, it's unbeatable."
Li Yao made up his mind. These powers would stay hidden.
He had to make sure the Sage of Six Paths couldn't learn about them through absorbed ninja souls.
And… he wasn't sure if the Ōtsutsuki could read memories through chakra signatures.
So from now on, any new spatial abilities wouldn't be shown publicly.
He'd stick to conventional jutsu in combat.
Which was fine.
Even with just conventional jutsu, he was still terrifying.
