Chapter 14 - I Have An Aura That Attracts Women!?

Liam wore a casual shirt and short pants as he stepped out of his muscle car near the beach. Rosa emerged from the other side while adjusting her hair and tops. The moment she stepped out, she used the water bottle to rinse her mouth. She checked her face in the mirror and gave a satisfied nod.

Liam didn't comment on her actions. It was her own fault. Who asked her hands to be so naughty while he was driving? It was only proper that he taught her a little lesson. As for ruining her makeup, she should have thought of it before provoking him.

"Come on, let's go. According to the information, the party is being conducted on the beach a half a mile away from here. You up for a walk?" Liam asked, putting his hand around her hips when she neared him.

"Do I have a choice? Can't you have driven a bit closer Liam?" Rosa pouted.

"Come on, it will be good for you to take a walk. It will help you digest the vitamins you just ate," Liam smirked.

"Jerk," Rosa muttered under her breath. "Did you have to be so forceful at the end there? I almost lost my breath."

"Ha, serves you right," Liam chuckled as they walked on the beach leisurely. "Have you attended a bonfire party before?" Liam asked Rosa.

"No, this is my first time. I have never been to a bonfire party. Have heard about it though. It is said to be mostly a couple thing, so I never tried," Rosa replied.

"Don't tell me you were single throughout your college life?" Liam said aghast.

"As if," Rosa snorted. "Did you forget where we met up for the first time? I have seen my share of parties. Just never attended this kind. Moreover, none of my boyfriends were mature enough for me to feel any deep connection. Unlike you."

"Do I look mature?" Liam asked in confusion, as no one had ever called him that.

"Definitely not," Rosa snickered. "But you have an aura about you. It was clear to me from the first time we met that you are different from normal guys of our age. That was one of the reasons I accepted your offer to hire me."

"Is that so? Are you just pulling my leg here? Why don't I know about this so-called aura?" Liam asked curiously.

"That's only visible to women. You have a kind of magnetism that attracts women. Maybe, it is because you are used to being in-charge. I bet you were always the decision maker in your past relationships, right?"

Liam took a moment to think about it and had to agree with her statement. Even with Jessica, she mostly followed his lead. While he listened to her suggestions and often agreed with her, it was always him making the final decision. He hadn't noticed it until now.

"Huh, it was indeed the case. Does such a thing attract women?" Liam asked curiously.

"I don't know about other women, but I am indeed attracted to it. You know my kink, don't you?" Rosa winked. "I know that our relationship isn't typical. And I know that I won't be the only woman sharing your bed. In fact, I think you will never settle down at all. And yet, I am still attracted to you. I might find a boyfriend one day and get married to him as well. But, my attraction to you wouldn't diminish at all."

"Ha, good to know. Now that you are my personal secretary, you are hitched to my side for life," Liam chuckled.

"That's good. I will get to admire you from close range for the rest of my life then," Rosa chuckled as well.

"Ha, we are some pair, aren't we?" Liam quipped.

"Normal is overrated," Rosa quipped back. "What can you tell me about this bonfire party?"

"It is similar to other parties. Drinks, drugs, dance, music, horny guys and hot chicks. The difference is in the ambience. Here, you get to enjoy the natural sea breeze while partying with friends. And the starlit sky and bonfire night really sets the mood. That's why it is preferred by couples. It wouldn't be as wild as some of the other parties, but it has its own charm."

"Sounds interesting, I think I can hear the music already. Looks like it has already begun."

"Come, let me take you to your first bonfire party," Liam chuckled and led Rosa to the venue.

The moment they entered the vicinity of the party, they were hit by the hot party atmosphere in the area. It was clear that they were a bit late and the party was already underway. They both looked at each other and plunged into the party crowd happily.

It wasn't until an hour later that Liam ran into Connor, the party organizer. By then, he and Rosa were already sweaty and slightly drunk. They had danced several times and were resting for a bit when Connor came over.

"Yo man, you look to be enjoying tonight. How's the party?" Connor asked enthusiastically.

"Simply splendid. You know how to throw a good party, my man. The music is spectacular. Who's on the disk?" Liam replied enthusiastically.

"That's Big D, he is one of the guys who will be performing at the music festival. He mixes well. Wanna meet him?" Connor asked.

"Nah, let him do his stuff. Where's the guy who I want to meet? I hope he hasn't already left," Liam joked.

"No, he is still hanging around. He was waiting for you to get free. Should I call him over?" Connor asked eagerly.

"Man, you should have come fetched me earlier," Liam signed. "Still, no harm done. I hope he doesn't take offense. Lead me to him, it is only proper I went to meet him after he waited for me so long."

"No worries Liam, he is cool," Connor shook his head. "He is with his friends and they are partying as well. Come, let me introduce you to him."

Connor led the way as Liam and Rosa followed. Navigating through the party crowd, they approached a bunch of people who were partying together. The group had all kinds of ethnicity. It was clear that this was a group that was quite open.

"Yo Weber! You free? Here's the guy I talked to you about?" Connor hailed a large mixed race man once he neared the group.

"Damn Connor, you should have fetched me earlier when you went to meet the guy. Come on, introduce us," Weber walked over quickly.

"Yo man, this is Liam. He works as a Channel Head for a music channel. I talked to him about your music festival, he told me that he has a proposal for you. I hope you guys have a good chat. I am gonna bounce," Connor smoothly introduced Liam and left the spot.

"Hi man, name's Weber. You can call me Weber or Bigvy."

"Liam here. This place is a bit crowded, how about we move to the side where it is a bit quieter. You can bring over a couple of your friends as well. Let's drink and chat," Liam nodded his head at the surroundings and motioned to the side.

"Sure, let me grab a couple of people involved with the festival."

With that Weber quickly left and came back with a latina woman and black man. With Liam leading, they found a somewhat secluded spot and sat down. The black man handed the bottles of beer he had picked up while coming over to everyone. Liam nodded his head in thanks and looked at Weber.

"So, Weber, can you tell me about this music festival?"

"Sure man, there isn't much to tell. The Music Rain Music Festival we are conducting is a small-scale event we are organizing to support independent artists like Big D who is on the tracks tonight. It isn't a big event, but we have a lot of support prepared for it."

"Also, this is our first music festival. If it succeeds, we plan to conduct a yearly one. We have some sponsors lined up and are looking to see if we can a few more people," Weber explained the gist of it.

"What kind of artists will be participating? I mean, what genre?" Liam asked.

"We have a couple of rock bands, a pop singer, two rappers, and some DJs. It is a mixed bunch," Weber replied candidly.

"Anyone popular among them?"

"The two rock bands we are planning to closing out with have some following. They don't have a record contract. They are local celebrities and have played in many local events. One of the rappers who will be participating has released a new single recently. He is doing this to promote that single. Apart from them, others don't have much fame."

"I see, that's good enough for a music festival in its first year. It would be better if we can close out with some known band or singer," Liam replied honestly.

"Ha, don't we know," the black man snorted. "However, no one wants to headline a little known music festival."

"Well, I think I can help you there," Liam smirked at the black man.
