As usual, it took me 30 minutes to reach home. I was greeted by my neighbors with a warm smile on their face which made me think how wonderful it would be if my boss had the same smile, then he wouldn't scare away the new rookies. My neighbors were an old couple who had never left this town before.
After having a small conversation with the old neighbors, I entered my house. My house was small but clean. It had two rooms. One for me and one for my younger sister Tiara. She is a year younger than me. We moved in together but she always came home late. I really have no idea where she is or what she is doing right now. I am just grateful that she comes home each night even if it is at dawn.
I took a shower and changed into my pajamas. I usually sleep after tiara comes back but today I felt weirdly sleepy so I just fell asleep at around 9pm. I think I slept for about 3 hours. That's when I had a terrible nightmare. I woke up shivering from head to toe. I couldn't fall asleep after that.
At around 2am, my sister came back. I immediately went and hugged her. I was still shaking a bit from fear. I knew she felt annoyed whenever I got close to her but that was the only way I could calm myself down. She was the only family I had.
As I predicted, she pushed me to the ground really hard and shouted "What the hell is wrong with you???Why would you hug me??"
I was overwhelmed by guilt " I apologize for causing you discomfort. I had a nightmare. I was chased by a psychopath. I was running really fast but he caught me and started cutting my limbs one by one. I can still feel the intense pain all over my body....."
Tiara had a very disgusted look on her face" Have you finally gone made Rina? You think I care about your little nightmare? Do not come near me ever again. Stop bothering me this late at night."
I apologized to her over and over again until she shut the door to her room. Tiara has a slight unruly personality but she is good at heart and I really love her. She never behaved like that before . She was a sweet kid until that incident.....
