The sun came up shining on the nation protected by big walls. Duskborne Nation was a nation where humanity strived in the eastern continent, protected by the sentinels of various grades; it was a fortress where no mare anomaly could just attack.
Around the city, human walked free and excited, carrying on with their day-to-day activities free of fear from the anomalies.
Deep inside the nation, a school stood tall, the name carved in the middle, Sentinel Academy, the best in the eastern continent.
Outside the gate, it was packed with a lot of young people. They were wearing fancy clothes, showing off the luxury and status they were born into. Some of them had the logo of their nobility engraved on their attire, while those who didn't were simply nobodies.
Suddenly, a blue bus came towards the school entrance. A young boy came out of the bus, the bus, which was floating on the grand surface, moved swiftly, and with a few breaths, the bus disappeared out of sight.
The boy standing at six feet tall, with pale white skin and short black hair, at the end of his hair was tinted white; his name was Kurogami Ren, actual name Kurogami Blackthorne, but he used an alias name; he didn't want to be known.

The symbol was just a mere cloth design, nothing special about it, Some student who arrived before him gave him a a glance and immediately continued with their discussion, like he didn't exist or nothing really came down from the bus, they seems not to bother or interested in communicating with him, someone like this is definitely an orphan or a nobody who will just tarnish they reputation.
This was what Kurogami wanted; he didn't need people like this around him. He wanted a peaceful experience.

Kurogami looked at the gate of the school in the middle, carved a name, Sentinel Academy, this is a place dreams come through, heroes were born here.
"This is going to be an interesting experience," Kurogami said internally with a smile,
Kurogami walked into the school with his big bag on his back. As he moved, his attention was caught by a group of girls standing together, who were shouting and blushing, calling the name of an individual.
This person was Kanji Rengoku from the Rengoku clan, the Rengoku clan ruled the nation.
Kanji was adopted by the clan leader of Rengoku at a young age. The Rengoku clan leader treated him with the same love and affection as his son; this was a blessing some people could not have, and this caused other orphans or nobodies around him to envy him. Coming to this school was a good thing for him; he got the chance to compete with other talented individuals, and there was someone he wanted to see.
Kanji sensed something coming behind him. He tilted his head, dodging it without looking back, and caught it. This was a water bottle, thrown by his brother, Kael Rengoku, the biological son of the Rengoku clan leader. "Sorry you took all the time in the world," Kanji replied as he drank the water and moved forward slowly, giving Kael the chance to catch up.
"Tch, you better not cause any trouble," Kael sighed as he walked towards him.
The symbol in both their wears was that of a golden dragon.
Everyone, including Kurogami, walked into the school. It was large and massive. Its towering walls and silver gates reflected the morning sun, while the banners of the Sentinel Academy fluttered proudly in the breeze. The grounds stretched wide, covered in endless green fields and flowers that lined the walkways, their colors bursting against the stone pathways.
In the pathway, another clan member was waiting for Kanji and Kael; he was ahead of them. It was Leiji Hayakage from the Phantom Vaal clan.

Among all clans, Leiji seems to be the most carefree and humble, and his personality even made a lot of girls like him. He was handsome, slightly better than Kanji; he didn't hold the clan respect like the rest of them; his dress showed how humble he was. He whore a black cloth, but there were new.
Leiji, seeing Kanji and Kael coming, waved his right hand to them. They spotted him and also smiled, increasing their space to reach out to him. They have all been friends from a young age since their clans were on good terms.
Kanji notices Leiji's energy is slightly different.
"For someone who doesn't like cultivating, you seem to have gotten a lot stronger than before. Care for a match? ' Kanji said, with excitement.
"You are already about to cause trouble; have you forgotten father's words?" Kael said, looking angry.
Leiji laughed, hearing what Kael said. He knew what Kanji feared.
Kanji, hearing the word father humbled himself and smiled, but the smile was filled with fear.
"Maybe next time," Kanji said.
"Where is Selena?" Leiji asked with curiosity in his eyes.
"Thought she would be with you," Kael said.
"No, now that I think about it, I haven't seen her in a while. I wonder what she is up to."
"Isn't that obvious? Probably getting stronger," Kanji said, who slightly bends his head down, hiding his feelings.
Kael and Leiji notice it, and they smile; they both know how Kanji feels towards Selene.
There was no jealousy in their eyes; no one but Kanji was worthy of having Selene Liora.
"Ooh, speaking of the devil," Leiji said with excitement in his face. It got all their attention, and they all looked back.
From the far end of the courtyard, a new presence stepped forward, calm, poised, and impossible to ignore. She carried herself with a grace that seemed almost unnatural.
Her skin was pale and luminous, like porcelain kissed by sunlight. White hair cascaded down her shoulders, flowing like silk with each movement.
While her blue eyes shone like crystal, she was the definition of beauty polished into perfection. Slim yet curvaceous, she was the beauty of the white lotus clan,
The murmurs around the courtyard died down. Without realizing it, the gathered students shifted aside, giving her a clear path as she walked. It wasn't fear that parted them, but an instinctive recognition of someone who embodied both nobility and power.
The crest of the White Lotus Clan marked her attire, its subtle embroidery glimmering faintly against her battle-suit. Though her expression was gentle, there was an unmistakable sharpness in her gaze, like a blade hidden beneath blossoms.
Kenji and the others were already waiting ahead. When her eyes met theirs, a quiet smile touched her lips.
As she got closer, Leiji said,
"It's like you get more beautiful day by day."
"You flatter me too much, Leiji," she said with her gentle voice.
She looked at Kael, then Kanji, who was speechless; he couldn't keep eye contact with Selene for too long. They all smiled, happy to see each other after so long.
"I can see you all kept to your promises," Selene said. Her blue, crystal-like eye flowed with energy; she could see their energy was overflowing.
"Of course, I hope you are going to give me a worthy challenge this time," Kanji said, breaking his silence.
They both smiled at each other, and the flow of energy burst out of their bodies. Kanji's energy was red while Selene's was white. They collided with each other, fighting for dominance, and the air got heavier around them.
"Wow, they have already created a core and are in the middle stage," students around said, gossiping between themselves.
"Wow, so cool," some praised and gave looks of admiration.
Kenji and Selene were about to get into battle position, ready to show their years of training, but Leiji stepped between them.
"You are both hot-headed, let go. When we become students, we can fight as we please."
The air got soft around them as they stopped their energy flow. They both walked together, not as different clans but as family.
Kurogami didn't give a damn about their existence in school. He had already gotten into the building. Then the clan heir candidates entered, and a lot of students poured in like water, each prepared for the challenge yet to come.
