Chapter 13: The dream that will never come true.

"Eva, is there anything wrong with my clothes? There's no problem, right?"

[Sir, you look majestic. The fabric you're wearing right now is made from an alien species in the Elysian Fortress, obtained from a species exchange with an enigmatic observer. Not only is it a fabric perfect for all weather and terrain, but it also brings a cool feeling to the wearer.]

[The one who designed your clothes for tonight's meeting is one of the 7-star android designers who sews them by hand. Every stitch is so precise and perfect, demonstrating the progress the federation has achieved.]

"Good, good, I've prepared a gift for them to use to observe Tang Wulin and Na'er. No, this can't be called a gift, Eva. Send me the best gift for them within the limits acceptable in this game." Elysium returned the wiretap he'd made to his inventory.

As a civilized person, he must have a gift when visiting someone's home. You see, people in the federation often give their planets as gifts when visiting each other.

They will wrap it all in a temporal field and freeze the planet's time and space, giving it as a gift when visiting. It would be rude of me not to bring something when visiting someone's home.

[Analyzing, retrieving data…]

[Several options have been discovered, sir. For tonight, it would be great if you could bring some food, fabric, and even some entertainment gifts for them. Many ordinary things in Elysium Fortress cannot be given, but some of the books are being printed and produced in large quantities and can be given to them.]

"That's good. Translate everything and prepare everything in a special soul guide. Give them the best quality we can." Elysium gave Eva a strict order and was very serious about it.

He would be a laughing stock in the federation if he came to visit with some crappy gift. Even if he couldn't give some planets in his collection in Elysium Fortress, or some galaxies in the tube he had, he could still give many things.

[Everything is being prepared. Countdown until everything is done, 5 minutes.]

Elysium smiled when he heard everything was arranged. This way, he could arrive with a calm and relaxed heart.

On the street, a lot of attention was drawn to him because of his attire. It wasn't that it was strange, but because just from a glance, they knew this perdon was probably the son of a wealthy family.

What Elysium was wearing now wasn't clothing found in this world, but rather attire specifically designed for formal gatherings in the federation. Inviting someone to their home for dinner was a formal invitation that meant a lot in the federation.

It meant that the other person trusted you enough to have no problem with you coming to their planet.

Elysium, of course, knew that this planet had a different meaning. Inviting someone to dinner might simply be a way to repay the favor he had given Na'er and Tang Wulin.

But, this planet was this planet, and he wasn't from this planet. He was a civilized man from the Federation who had explored the cosmos for who knew how many years.

He couldn't lower his standards and adopt the culture of this barbaric civilization, right? If not for Astrea's restrictions, he would have taken some of the planets into his own collection and given away a box full of every type of planet he owned.

From Gaia World, Ecumonopolis, Tomb World, Continental World, Sea Planet, Dessert World, Toxic World, etc.

He was a nine-star researcher in the Federation. His wealth couldn't be calculated using mere planets. He even had some galactic tubes in his collection and a pocket universe he had taken while he was still in the Horizon Needle.

After ensuring he hadn't gotten lost, Elysium arrived in front of Tang Wulin's house, where Tang Wulin was waiting for him. Tang Wulin was surprised to see Elysium arrive in such luxurious attire with a nine-star badge on the edge, a Horizon Needle, and a black hole in the center.

"Good evening, Tang Wulin. I've come as you requested." Elysium bowed slowly and placed his right hand on his chest.

"Ah, Lin Lin, is Elysium here?" Lang Yue emerged from inside and saw Elysium arriving, dressed in such luxurious attire. He looked so handsome, a complete departure from before.

His face looked so soft and smooth, it looked so natural. His hair was neatly styled and looked graceful and elegant. His lips were a light pink moisturizer.

The most striking thing was the badge he wore.

Tang Wulin and Lang Yue didn't understand the badge's meaning, but they knew it was something far more valuable than the clothes he was wearing.

"Auntie, I brought some gifts, please don't refuse them." Elysium handed over the two soul guides He had made and forced them into Lang Yue's hands. He absolutely wouldn't let Lang Yue refuse the gifts he had prepared.

Lang Yue wanted to say no, but Elysium's hand wouldn't let her remove the bracelet.

"Please, Auntie. My father will be angry if he finds out I came to visit without bringing any gifts." Elysium used his trump card and brought his non-existent father to this.

Sure enough, Lang Yue gave in and could only reluctantly accept.

She still doesn't know what's inside this soul guide. If she had known, they really wouldn't have dared to accept all this.

"Come in, my mother has cooked dinner for us." Tang Wulin reached for Elysium's hand and felt it touch something that looked like cotton, so light yet so strong.

Every impact of his grip was absorbed by the collar Elysium wore. Something so soft yet so strong, as a blacksmith, Tang Wulin was truly curious.

Elysium simply explained that this was a cloth her father had found at an auction long ago. He just made up some bullshit story that Tang Wulin would probably forget the next moment.

"How is it, Mang Tian? I was right about Elysium, wasn't I?" Tang Ziran showed a smug face while introducing Elysium.

But Mang Tian said nothing and simply watched Elysium sitting with Tang Wulin and Na'er, appearing so close to them. For a moment, he could see a pair of eyes watching them like a blacksmith who had finally encountered a new, previously undiscovered ore.

It gave him a feeling of joy at seeing an object up close, but that feeling vanished in an instant.

"Maybe I'm just hallucinating. There's no way such a young child could show such an expression." Mang Tian shook his head and ignored Tang Ziran, who was prattling on about Tang Wulin being truly blessed to befriend Elysium.

On the other hand, Na'er and Tang Wulin looked at the clothes Elysium was wearing and the badge on his chest.

"Elysium, that badge, do you also work in another field like blacksmithing?" Tang Wulin's eyes lit up at the sight of someone similar to him. As the only one in the class pursuing a secondary profession, he didn't have anyone similar to him.

"Oh, this? This is the recognition I received. Not quite like blacksmithing or the three mecha professions, but it is recognition in the field of theory," Elysium said happily, proudly displaying it.

"I don't have any grand ambitions like becoming a Title Douluo or something, but I want to advance the technology of this world even further with the inventions I will create in the future. Soon, I will be the first to bring humans to the moon and begin a new era in this world!" Elysium boasted like a child sharing his dreams.

"The moon?" Na'er blinked and looked up at the moon in the night sky.

"Yes, I will be the pioneer who brings humans to the moon and sets foot there. Then, I will travel further to the surrounding planets and open a new era in this world!"

Elysium said proudly, explaining about the moon, stars, and the various planets in space. The stars in the sky were like pearls filled with mysteries waiting for him to explore further.

Tang Wulin and Na'er didn't quite understand, but they could both see Elysium's enthusiasm when he explained it to them.
