Chapter 53 - Hiko x Ai - 53: Authority

"Your dance moves aren't that great, and frequent position changes will make us very tired," Arisa said, nitpicking.

"As expected, you don't understand anything, which is why you have the courage to say that."

Hiko looked at Arisa with a disdainful gaze. "The dance steps are already in my mind. I've only drawn one. If you really don't understand, you can beg me, and I can personally demonstrate how to do your position."

"You hateful scoundrel!" Arisa turned her head away from Hiko. "I won't beg you!"

"I want to try Saito-san's guidance. He has already created the music and the dance, and I don't want to let down his good intentions. What about you all?" Ai set an example, looking at the others. "We can't look down on him just because he's young."

Hiko felt strange hearing the latter part of Ai's sentence and wanted to retort but chose to ignore it.

"I also think we can try it," Watanabe echoed, adding, "If this is what Saito-san came up with, it's only right for him to guide us."

"I have no objections," Takamine also said.

"I have no objections either," Niino followed.

After they finished speaking, all four looked at Arisa.

"Since the other members of the group have all agreed to your guidance, then I'll reluctantly allow you…"

Arisa awkwardly added, "I'm doing it for their sake."

'—Is this what they call a tsundere?' Hiko looked at the sulking Arisa, feeling that she perfectly fit the concept of 'tsundere'.

Though she would never be 'dere' towards him, of course.

"Alright, since you all agree, I will plan out your daily training schedule tomorrow."

Hiko had originally only planned Ai's training volume, but due to personnel changes, his plan for her had to be discarded.

Seriously, there were so many unexpected turns.

"Ugh, he doesn't even have a plan yet." Arisa seized the opportunity to attack Hiko. "And you still have the nerve to guide us."

'Go ahead and be smug; just wait until tomorrow! I won't even let you get a wink of sleep!'

Hiko decided to set even stricter standards for Arisa, making her undergo higher-intensity training.

He could already foresee Arisa collapsing from exhaustion after tomorrow.

'You can be as arrogant as you like; you'll be crying when the training starts.'

"I'm not as free as you. I still need to rush to the recording studio today to get the music done. Later, I'll also have to draw out the dance steps for you to review repeatedly, so you don't forget the moves and then complain, thinking I'm deliberately targeting you," Hiko said sarcastically to Arisa.

Arisa couldn't refute Hiko's words, was once again stumped, and could only fall silent, no longer speaking to him.

Although Hiko wanted to train them harmoniously and didn't want to use methods of asserting authority or killing the chicken to scare the monkeys.

However, Arisa herself jumped out.

Serving as the chicken for the killing the chicken to scare the monkeys tactic.

He could only pick up the butcher's knife and chop her down.

After the dust settled, Ichigo stepped forward and said, "Since you all have acknowledged Hiko as the instructor, then don't come complaining about his training intensity being too high later. I don't want to hear it."

"Yes," ×5

The five responded in unison.

Ichigo stood aside contentedly, watching them practice their daily routine.

Hiko quickly drew simple diagrams of the decomposed dance steps.

An hour later, Hiko handed the drawings to the five. "If there's anything you don't understand, you can ask me. If your brain isn't quite up to it, I can personally demonstrate for you."

"Then why don't you demonstrate it yourself?" Watanabe asked, holding Hiko's drawings. "Wouldn't your personal demonstration be simpler and clearer than drawings?"

"Because I don't want to do that. And after a demonstration, you won't remember it in one go. In the end, I'd have to demonstrate it over and over, and because it's a group dance with different movements I designed, I'd have to demonstrate it multiple times. So it's better to just draw it out, since I happen to be good at drawing," Hiko replied.

He just didn't want to dance himself.

If anyone really asked him to demonstrate later, he would definitely scold that person, saying something like, 'You can't even understand such detailed diagrams, how can you be so stupid?'

"Alright, I'll plan your schedule tomorrow. Today is considered a rest day." Hiko saw the five diligently practicing and nodded with satisfaction.

"Balancing work and rest is very important. You should finish practice early."

After Hiko finished speaking, he found Ichigo and asked him to contact a recording studio and arrange for someone to help him produce the music.

He would write the lyrics after returning home that night.

"I originally thought it would be a long time before we went to the recording studio, but I didn't expect you to want to go so soon. That's very expensive," Ichigo advised Hiko.

"It's fine. I earned another ten million yen this month, which is enough to spend."

Hiko deliberately stated the amount given by the system.

"…"

Ichigo was speechless. His company's net profit this month was not as much as Hiko earned.

This made him curious about Hiko's business. "What exactly have you been investing in? You've been making money continuously."

"Nothing much, just buying and selling, and making a few small investments on the side," Hiko said perfunctorily.

"So that's how it is." Ichigo suddenly said this, then lost interest in how Hiko made money.

'Strange? Didn't he just ask me how I make money? Why did he suddenly stop asking?' Hiko had originally wanted to probe further, but found that Ichigo simply stopped asking, as if his cognition had been modified.

'Will the rewards obtained from the system be rationalized, and will others not inquire about the method of earning money?' Hiko wondered uncertainly.

But this was a good thing. If the system could rationalize everything, he wouldn't have to worry about being investigated because the system gave him money.

"Since you know, let's hurry to the recording studio and get the music done."

Hiko found a music notebook and copied the musical notation symbols from the score.

Ichigo drove Hiko to a familiar recording studio.

"Speaking of which, you said you found suitable musicians to compose for them. Introduce them to me, won't you?"

In the past month, Hiko hadn't found the mastermind from the information he obtained from Hasegawa.

So he thought about whether the person might be in Ichigo's original network and spoke again: "Also introduce the choreography teacher to me."

"I can introduce them, but aren't you supposed to be a manager? Why do you suddenly want to meet them?" Ichigo realized he had asked a foolish question after speaking, so he rephrased, "I looked at your dance step diagrams, and they are quite excellent. However, I always feel that the formation isn't perfect, as if something is missing."

"Nothing is missing. That's your misconception," Hiko replied calmly.

In fact, ever since he used the experience card, he had discovered a very important problem.
