(1)United Front of Humanity (UFH): Est 2026, A global government type organization that, along with hyperintelligent AI, works to manage all aspects of daily human life across the solar system. After the establishment, humanity's productivity and technology started to increase at an unprecedented rate.
(1)Intergalactic Enlightenment Committee (IEC): A body currently made up of seven sovereign species. Originally founded by a group of Five to manage and research pre-sovereign species as well as conduct trials of ascension.

Terms
(1)Sovereign Species: Recognized 'superior' species that have completed trials of ascension or are founders of the IEC. Currently there are seven sovereign species. There are more species that are classified as inferior, often as a result of biomodification and hybridization projects to create expendable workers.
(3)Hyperspace: Hyperspace is a phenomenon produced when universal quantities of mass are concentrated in a small area. By using hyperspace drives, ships are able to enter hyperspace and effectively travel at speeds far exceeding that of light. Hyperspace is effectively a state of existence far removed from the bounds of normal reality. When entering hyperspace, all biological organisms will notice an intense vertigo as their bodies adapt to spacetime folding to such an immense degree. Without proper augmentation kits or safety measures, this is fatal.
Events
(1)Trial of Ascension: A very important trial created by the IEC in order to facilitate the induction and management of suitable pre-sovereign species. Three have occurred before, with the first one ending up in a failure, and the inductee candidate being summarily exterminated and most records erased.
(8)Ascension Gala: An important event in the ascension trial. It is held in a custom built gala hall. Representatives from all sovereign species are present. Music from the candidate species' history is collected to be represented. The event starts with a dance and then transitions to socialization. During the socialization period representatives will approach the contestants and offer them orbs, which represent different sponsors that will assist them in their journeys.
