However, at this moment, on her beautiful face, a look of worry could be seen.
As she stood there with a blank face, she heard the sound of someone approaching. It was a woman. Sensing that, her worry face quickly vanished. Instead her face went back to normal.

The person who approached her bowed behind her and reported. "Not yet. It seems like she disappeared into the thin air after the incident at Holy Wine City."

But the other person didn't leave immediately.
Seeing that, Lianxi asked. "Anything more to report? Fifth Elder?"

"Yes." The Fifth Elder bowed once again. Then, she reported. "First of all, many of our informants have disappeared without a word. And also, it seems like someone is pulling the string from, behind the scene and targeting our Pavillion."
"Not only that, the most important thing is that after the incident of the City Lord being found dead, the Royal Family hasn't reacted yet."
Upon hearing that, Lianxi frowned. Why? One of their official was murdered and still no response?
"Something seems fishy. The Royal Family is not like this usually." The Fifth Elder stated.
Lianxi also nodded.
It was correct. The Royal Family of Jade River Kingdom was known for their retaliation against anyone who touches their property. And that includes the officials they appointed.
After some silence, Lianxi asked. "Then, have you found out who is behind that official?"
"Yes. It is the second prince." The Fifth Elder answered. "Apparently, after hearing that someone killed one of his men, he went mad and ordered to investigate. But after just half a day, he stopped his madness and all the investigation stopped."
"Ohh? So, someone is really pulling the string from behind the scene." Lianxi raised her eyebrows.
Then, a confusion hit her. "But there is one thing that I don't understand. Why target our Pavillion. It's not like we have done massive to attract the attention of people."
"Maybe there is a hidden agenda behind it that we are not aware of?" The Fifth Elder said, uncertain.
"Maybe." Lianxi muttered.
Suddenly, Lianxi's face changed. She suddenly said to Fifth Elder. "You can leave now."
Hearing the commanding tone, the Fifth Elder didn't feel any anger. She simply bowed respectfully and left.
After she left, Lianxi said. "You can come out now."
In just a second, out of thin air, a man appeared. He was old, like with white hairs all over his head.
From the looks, people would assume that he was already one step into the coffin. But only Lianxi knew how powerful the old man was.
Unlike his visibly old body, he was a dominant powerhouse at Spirit Ascension Realm. If he were to placed in Jade River Kingdom, he would easily be one of the most powerful person.
When he appeared, Lianxi turned around and faced him.
She greeted. "Uncle Wang." Unlike the usual calm and cold tone, her voice contained the visible respect she had for the old man.
The old man smiled and said. "Miss, please. Just call me by my name. I'm not fit for the title 'uncle'. I'm nothing but just a servant of the clan."
Though he said that, he still felt warm when he heard her called him uncle.

Then, she quickly changed the topic. She asked. "But why are you here?"
The old man dropped all the expression and said with seriousness. "Miss, the family has called back all the heirs. It's about time."
Upon hearing that, Lianxi's face turned serious. "Is it already here? How fast time passed."
Thinking that Lianxi was feeling down, the old man quickly said. "Miss, you don't have to feel so down. You have already done your best. And also, with your current achievements, I think only 'She' can compete with you."
