Chapter 122 - Chapter 122: Darkness Under the Lamp

"What! He escaped!"

Takahashi Ryosuke immediately threw away the cigar in his hand. He had expected to get the item tonight, but something went wrong.

"If I don't get the item tonight, none of you will have an easy time!"

Takahashi Ryosuke roared loudly at the person on the other end of the phone, his eyes already red with anger.

Hanging up the phone, Takahashi Ryosuke picked up the dinner knife on the table and slowly walked forward.

In front of him was a woman in a dress. Seeing Takahashi Ryosuke approach, she forced a smile. She had thought this yacht trip would be a financial opportunity for her tonight, but his sudden rage had made her a little scared.

Just as she was about to speak, she felt a sharp pain in her chest.

She looked down and saw that Takahashi Ryosuke had plunged the dinner knife straight into her heart.

"Why?"

This question swirled in her mind and she voiced it.

Takahashi Ryosuke merely sneered, watching her as if admiring a work of art.

Blood seeped through the wound torn by the dinner knife, slowly oozing out from her heart with each beat, intensifying her pain.

Gradually, fresh blood also seeped out from where the dinner knife met her skin.

The woman clutched her chest, wanting to leave, but how could Takahashi Ryosuke give her a chance?

He directly pulled out the dinner knife, and blood instantly gushed out like a pump.

The dazzling blood directly stained Takahashi Ryosuke's pristine white shirt, and in places where there was more blood, it even clung tightly to his skin.

The rapid loss of blood turned the woman's vision from vibrant colors to black and white.

She looked at the devil's sneer and suddenly began to hate herself for not being able to resist the temptation to come aboard this yacht.

At this moment, Takahashi Ryosuke extended his right hand, and the dinner knife fell to the ground.

The woman fell backward, completely devoid of strength, her lips pale. The gushing blood had slowed to a steady flow, occasionally splattering a little. This was her heart's final effort, but unfortunately, the blood didn't go elsewhere; instead, it all escaped outward.

Takahashi Ryosuke placed the woman on the sofa, then brutally tore off her dress... Due to the failed mission and the missing item, Takahashi Ryosuke was filled with rage, and he could only vent it this way.

The subordinate standing at the door silently closed it.

Ten minutes later, the phone on the table rang.

Takahashi Ryosuke rose, his expression indifferent. He then walked to the table in his blood-soaked shirt, casually pulled out a tissue to wipe himself, and answered the phone.

"The tracker sent a location on the Keiyo Road, then disappeared again."

The person on the other end gave Takahashi Ryosuke a location.

"Keiyo Road? Where is he going?"

The person disappeared from Tokyo Port, but the tracker was found on Keiyo Road.

There was a nearly 15-minute gap in between.

"Instead of asking me now, you might as well send your subordinates to Narita Airport to intercept him. I guess he's probably going to Narita Airport, though he might go elsewhere."

The person on the other end of the phone gave his guess, then hung up.

After pondering for a moment, Takahashi Ryosuke directly roared, "Sakuragi! Immediately mobilize the people near Narita Airport! Block all the airport's passages! As soon as you see that Asian man, apprehend him! No, kill him directly!"

"Hai!"

Sakuragi, who had opened the door and entered, glanced at the brutally murdered woman. He showed no emotion, took out his phone, and dialed another number.

"The item has escaped, and he might be leaving by plane."

Then, he ignored the curses from the other end and directly hung up the phone.

It had been a long time since he had experienced such a feeling; someone actually dared to cause trouble on his territory.

The 巽 Group was truly inferior; they couldn't even arrange a simple item properly and leaked information. How could they still be considered a member of the yakuza?

"Such scum should have died in a garbage heap long ago!"

After pondering for a moment, Zhang Jie said to Nakamura Yuichi, "Let's change direction. We're not going to Narita Airport anymore. Take me to the docks."

The most dangerous place is the safest place. Since his location had been exposed, the other party would surely assume he was heading to Narita Airport.

No one along the way knew he had already gotten into a taxi, so the best way was to create confusion and return to Tokyo Port!

Zhang Jie's mind raced.

Since he couldn't hide his whereabouts anymore, he might as well turn the tables and let them deploy their defenses at Narita Airport. He would use the time difference to leave Tokyo by boat from Tokyo Port.

However, before that, he needed to disguise himself, otherwise his current appearance would likely have spread, and he would easily be recognized.

The employer's words were paramount. Whatever Zhang Jie said, Nakamura Yuichi had no intention of defying, anyway, the customer would pay, and the customer was God.

Exiting the highway, turning around, and re-entering the highway was done in one smooth motion.

And so, the yellow taxi once again broke through the rain and headed towards Tokyo Port.

As for his phone, it was impossible to turn it on again. All subsequent actions would have to remain silent.

Even as they were preparing to exit the highway, Zhang Jie saw some modified cars speeding onto the highway, heading towards Narita Airport.

These guys are too slow to react. If there really was a plane, I would have been gone by the time they got there.

Upon returning to Tokyo Port, Zhang Jie did not get out of the car. Instead, after waiting a short while in the car, he once again said to Nakamura Yuichi, "Take me to Yokohama."

Nakamura Yuichi said nothing, only pressing the accelerator.

At 4 AM, Zhang Jie got out of the car. This was Yokohama. After giving Nakamura Yuichi 14 franklins, Zhang Jie left.

He needed to find a place to properly disguise himself.

Flying was out of the question. For sea routes, he could consider other means of transport. He really had to be careful, especially since he was still carrying a gun.

Meanwhile, the subordinates who had already secured all the entrances to Narita Airport waited until dawn but found no Asian people entering. When they finally did spot some Asian people, they weren't the one described.

And so, Zhang Jie disappeared from everyone's sight.

In fact, the police were also looking for Zhang Jie, but Zhang Jie was very cautious. After entering the basement, he disabled all surveillance, making it impossible for them to locate him.

And Zhang Jie had also dealt with the surveillance when he left the basement, so the police were like blind men all the way, having no idea where he had gone.

Especially after going to sea, the search area became vast, and it wasn't something that could be found simply; it would at least take time.

Takahashi Ryosuke was so angry that he smashed his phone, but what good did that do? The person had simply vanished into thin air, leaving no trace.

At this moment, Zhang Jie had already left Yokohama on a black ship. What?

You're saying black ships are afraid of gang bosses? Sorry, you can take it up with my bullets.
