Within Sichuan province and within chengdu city, sat a research lab. The lab in question was originally a research lab focusing on mountains and the geology of mountains.
However, at this moment the current leader of the research team was sat at his desk, holding a set of papers while a young woman stood opposite, looking at the leader nervously.
"Miss Mei Ling, you dont honestly think that I would believe this nonsense do you?" The current team leader, Wen Hao asked the young woman opposite him.
The woman, in response, sighed and smiled wearily before walking up to the desk and pointing to some of the papers.
"Sir, I am serious. Look here, there has been much higher level of animal activity throughout the mountains we have been researching."
Wen Hao however, was not impressed, resting his head on his palm "so? Thata not our field. Contact the animal team, its their problem"
"Actually sir... its kind of our problem too. A few teams that we sent to mount Congga as well as mount Siguniang have been attacked by animals"
"And? Animal attacks are normal aren't they? Just hire more guards." Wen Hao said, bored and tired of the conversation.
"We are sir.... our researchers are still getting injured. And the issue is that its not just one mountain like normal, its every mountain. Especially Juizhai Valley since there are more animals there"
When Mei Ling said that, Wen Hao finally became interested, sitting up in his chair. "Are the guards incompetent?"
"No sir, we have used multiple agencies and each struggle."

Using this vision, Chen Xuan was able to enjoy his time a bit more, spending his time watching Fenrir through their shared connection.
He watched as Fenrir ran through the forest and when he hunted. Though a bit repetitive, this was the only real fun Chen Xuan had. His options were either sharing Fenrirs vision or watching the ants around himself.
Like this, a couple of days had passed and Chen Xuan was only a day or two away from his next small breakthrough.
The day was like any other, sunny with the occasional cloud while the temperature was warm but not hot.
Chen Xuan was standing tall in the forest, standing about the same height of the other trees along with fenrir, who was lying at the base of Chrn Xuans tree.
Fenrir was resting after a recent hunt, blood staining the ground around him. He never had any concerns when eating around Chen Xuan, seeing him as a pack leader like figure.
As such, Fenrir would still offer food first to Chen Xuan, only for him to reject it, leaving Fenrir to eat whatever he hunted.
Such an instance was similar to the others. Fenrir was full and relaxed, resting peacefully in the shade of Chen Xuans crown.
With Chen Xuan relaxing, it took him a few seconds to notice the faint life energy originating from the base of his tree. The origin was obviously Fenrir, who was in a deep sleep, oblivious to his current changes.
Similar to the other times Fenrir broke through, Fenrirs muscles rippled and pulsed, his skin moving as if there were worms beneath. However, unlike last time, Fenrirs muscles were expanding far more rapidly than before, with faint cracking sounds occasionally sounding.
With this major breakthrough, Chen Xuan watched as Fenrir grew quickly, just like a toy being stretched.
Fenrir kept on growing until he reached about 150cm in length, already exceeding a vast majority of other himalayan wolves. His muscles grew powerful and full, looking more and more similar to the wolf that had attacked Fenrir previously.
This breakthrough took about 20 minutes until Fenrir slowly awoke. With his awakening, Fenrir stretched once more, letting out a loud whine, not of pain but of satisfaction.
With its stretched, Fenrir noticed how it had grown once more, feeling a boundless energy within.
Containing so much energy, Fenrir couldn't help himself but take a deep breath before suddenly letting out a loud and long howl that reverberated throughout the mountains.
The howl travelled quite far, travelling for numerous kilometers before dying down. The sound scared many animals, every prey animal such as rabbits or deer all ran from the source of the noise in fear.
Each of the animals felt the energy behind the howl, either growing scared or excited.
