After this NCAA game, Harden maintained his perfect losing streak against Kayce.
Kayce found the dejected Harden and quietly told him, "When we go to New York, I'll take you out to have some fun."
Harden's eyes immediately lit up. The two embraced, agreeing to meet again in the Big Apple.
Media reporters in America are particularly good at digging up little stories. Seeing Kayce and Harden whispering, they were already starting to imagine things.
As for interviews, didn't they see so many people surrounding Kayce? Junior reporters have to rely on their imagination!
Kayce went to the sidelines and fist-bumped Westbrook, Love, Luc Mbah a Moute, Durant, and Green, thanking them for coming to support him.
"Russell, do you think the team will draft Kayce this year?"
Durant greatly admired Kayce's playing style, especially after learning that Kayce was a training fanatic, which increased his goodwill significantly.
"I like playing with Kayce. Last year, we made it to the Final Four, almost reaching the finals!" Turtle was a supporter of Kayce.
"The team still lacks a playmaker, and the interior isn't great. Well, I hope our manager can draft a reliable brother."
Durant was already tired of losing. He started practicing his shooting in Seattle, and after Westbrook arrived, the two trained together. He didn't want to keep losing.
Jeff Green looked at the two without speaking. He felt that Kayce seemed to be an upgraded version of himself.
Good heavens, you hope Kayce comes? Does that mean you want me to leave? What about the promised youth storm, growing together?
Love was also thinking about the draft. The Minnesota Timberwolves had quite a few picks in hand. If they could draft Kayce, it would be absolutely fantastic. Their pick-and-roll would definitely be great!
On the way back to the hotel, everyone's spirits remained high, discussing whether they could go further and make it to the Final Four.
"Kayce, has any agent contacted you?" Holiday suddenly asked.
"No basketball agents, but I signed with Big Machine Records. They can help me with contract issues."
Kayce answered directly.
"A record company? Kayce, do you still want to sing? I remember Taylor Swift is signed there."
Collison directly interjected when he heard Kayce's words.
"Wow, a big star! Kayce, do you know Taylor? She's very popular lately." Holiday also quickly inquired.
"We're quite close. Those signed albums Russell has, I got them for him. Do you like her songs too?" Kayce asked with a curious expression.
"It's alright. I still prefer West Coast Rap. An agent found me, and I don't know how to choose."
Holiday answered honestly. It seemed he didn't have a clear concept regarding agents.
"Big agencies generally have good reputations. You should talk to your family about this too." Kayce, fearing he might be misled by empty promises, quickly reminded him.
Holiday immediately understood. No matter how good the promise, he couldn't eat it. He would let his family help with this matter.
Kayce knew that a good agent could help players solve many problems: good career planning, bigger contracts, and more endorsements.
But he didn't need these much. With the Dream Space and knowledge of future general trends, he could plan his own career.
As for contracts, do superstars need to worry about contracts?
Kayce also planned to release some singles to earn more money. He had studied vocal music for many years before.
Endorsements and such would be handled by Big Machine Records. The Dutton Family had already bought this company. They were his own people and wouldn't trick him.
After returning to the hotel, Kayce showered and then started texting Anne and Britney, managing two lines to foster relationships.
In the early morning, Kayce eagerly entered the Dream Space, called up the panel, and directly selected the Achievement Room.
Looking at the three bronze achievement badges in front of him, his heart instantly filled with joy. The number exceeded his expectations!
Kayce immediately touched them gently to understand their properties.
Achievement Badge [Ankle Guard]: 4/50
Reduces the chance of being crossed over and losing balance.
Achievement Badge [Hot Zone Hunter]: 6/50
Enhances the player's shooting accuracy from preferred spots.
Achievement Badge [Mismatch Expert]; 5/50
Reduces the negative impact when shooting against taller defenders.
Kayce looked at these three bronze achievement badges and understood with a little thought that these were the results of his performance on both offense and defense in this game.
Defending Harden, jump shots from the free-throw line and the corner, mismatch post-ups. Kayce was very satisfied. His offense had improved slightly.
Kayce continued his daily training in the Dream Space. What he didn't know was that the next day, his big trees and forest were about to catch fire.
Looking at the two serious faces in front of him, Kayce's scalp tingled.
"Which one do you prefer, Los Angeles or New York?"
This question was practically a death sentence!
