It's been a whole week since I read my mother's letter.Since then I observed grandma mood change drastically, I was worried something happened, but she didn't look anything out of ordinary.
At the very least she doesn't look sick or unwell, just lost or maybe since or little visit to the cemetery about a week ago is hitting harder than she lets on.
I'll ask , some other time, since is not to drastic of a change, I mean women have a certain mood changes, I remember reading a book about such mood changes.
Now, then of to the library today I'm going to find and read a book about the types of animals and other humanoid entities there.
See I have been reading a lot books, some of them mentioned different types of animals and humanoid creatures
I'm interested in learning the new things and different things, it's been something I naturally develop.
Anyway I head over to the kitchen, since grandma hasn't been feeling well,looks like I have to do myself.
Hmm,what should I make, that's delicious and simple to make.
"Lets see".
I thought aloud.
Onigiri.
Onigiri it's.
I went over and fetch the rice bag, I went over and scooped a portion of ice,and rinsed out the rice in a mesh strainer until the water runs is completely remove and dried out.
I went over and boiled some water in a saucepan with the rice and add a pitch of salt and waited
20-minutes went by
Once the rice cooked, I let the rice rest for 10– minutes before handling.
I Then shaped them in triangles and inserted grilled salmon flakes and wrapped seaweed around them
I made a big batch of them enough for at least 6 people. I made to many of them, well more for me I guess.
"itadakimasu"
I said to myself digging in with my bear hands.

Not bad I thought, could've been much better.

I took a bite,than reach over for a water cup

I heard a familiar voice called out behind me.
"Excuse you"
"Excuse me, good morning grandma, I made plenty of Onigiri for breakfast."
I replied.
She went over a picked one out, and gently bite down on the Onigiri I freshly made.
"Hmm..not bad however, you slightly over seasoned the…is that salmon,your rice was just undercooked."
I was about to proudly, hyped myself up until I heard the next words that stabbed me in the heart.
"A solid 6.5/10"
" I'll take it."
"Anyway grandma ,I'm going to the library after I return could you maybe teach me about magic."
Grandma continued eating the freshly made onigiri, and paused and gave me the biggest smile.
"Of course little Takeshi."
At the library-
I walked inside the library and noticed the same librarian, last time I came

This time with a navy blue jacket and black pants to match the dark shaded black.
"Hello what section could I find about animals and other known humanoids creatures."
I asked for pointers.
"Hmm book section number #09."
"Okay thanks."
I thanked her.
I made my way towards the recommended section,I walked down the aisle in a steady pace.
Then my gaze landed on a book it was easily the shortest looking book looks around 15 pages,its title

Perfect, just exactly what I was hoping to find.
I'll read this book here, I observed around the library and trying a good place to read the book.
I gaze at a comfy looking chair couch, I walked over to it and sat down.
I opened the book and turned to the first page.

Titans-Carrying supreme Magic Power, Titans were massive monsters of humanoid appearance who fought against the Gods
Celestial spirits-They are magical beings from their own separate universe
Angels-Sacred beings created by the gods who originally were to monitor the mortals.
Dragons-They were extremely powerful and intelligent creatures that lived in Earth Land.
Elevs-they are humanoid creatures, with long pointy ears, they're creatures loved by mana.
Well time to head back home, went back to the book section 9 and placed back the book.
It was a useful book to,read now I'm certain that the world is focused around Mana and Magic.
Back at grandma home-
I walked up to grandma's house and knocked twice.

"Grandma I'm back!"
I announced loudly.

Grandma welcomed me back and by the sounds of it she was excited to teach me.
"Yes, but first I want to look at the magic book called Magic theory.
"Okay dear, I wait for you to finish."
I was sitting down in my room rereading the Magic theory book, I schemed through the first page.

Page two-manipulating mana
There three key functions of manipulating mana.
1.) The first is to be able to sense it, this functions like a 6th sense.
2.)The second is to channel, mana throughout the body, this enhance the body with extreme physical boost to physical strength, agility, endurance and stamina.
3.) The third is to manipulate mana through a mental and spiritual state, that will release ethernano.
Pages 3-Lacrima
Lacrima can be powered up with different spells and used for different purposes.
1.) Magic items-they could contain spells or items
2.)Technology and Machine.-powered by using magic.
Pages 3-16 was other types of known lacrimas.

Page seventeen-Types of element magic
There are seven base magic elements.
1.)Light magic - It is a Magic in which the caster is able to manipulate and utilize light in various ways.
2.) Dark Magic or black magic - Like light magic, however it manifest in dark or black light.
3.)Lightning- A electric or thunderstorm manipulation.
4.)Air/wind- Air/wind magic base manipulation.
5.)Earth- Earth manipulation, however it's the element with the most, secondary manipulation.
6.)Fire- It can control fire and other pyro base elements.
7.) Water. The ability to use water-related magic. Form of Magic.
Secondary magic-They are other forms of elemental base magic.
For example earth mage, have a chance of being able to manipulate wood or sand, another would be Ice/snow manipulation,water mage are capable of producing.
The last pages are table of contents of all the people who either discovered or invented.I closed the book, I finally finished reading.
"You finish little Takeshi"
Grandma asked me.
"Yup, I'm ready to learn Mana"
"Oh.. wow you've fully understood the concept of Mana and magic!"
Grandma gave her usual grandmotherly warm smile, while complementing me.
"Okay let's head outside."
Grandma says.
The backyard of grandma's house
We are outside behind grandma's house, where we could see a wooden burgundy color fence surrounding us about 6 yards.
"First sit in a meditation position."
Grandma said.
I sat down and crossed my legs and placed my hands near my knee caps, this meditation technique is known as Burmese position.
"Good, now close your eyes and feel the mana tiny flow of mana through your body."
Grandma commented.
"How would I know when.."
"You will feel it."
I closed my eyes, slowly and in a relaxed manner, I slowly inhaled than slowly exhaled, I did this rhythm process 3 times.
Suddenly I felt, a drop of water go behind my back, I opened my eyes and looked to see if grandma did something or if it started to rain.
However nothing was out of place, then I closed my eyes again.

I then instead of a drop of water, it felt like heavy rain pouring down on me,then all the water warped around my body and fused to become one.So this what my Mana manifestation looks like.
"Okay grandma I think, I sense it."
I said to grandma, however since I sense the mana flowing around me, I observed grandma closely, the mana emanating around her wasn't flowing repeatedly compared to mine or at a steady rate.
"Okay, little Takeshi nice job now you will be able to learn magic, I'll be right back I'm going to go inside and bring a elemental reading Lacrima and a magic based reading Lacrima.
She went inside to go retrieve the items she would bring.Hmm I wonder what the difference was,but then again magic has unreasonable concepts and reasonable concepts.
While I waited for grandma to return I went over to a tree, reason being now that I sense Mana, I think I'm able to sense the trees mana/life force.
I channeled the little bit of mana, I gaze over the tree and sense nothing.
Maybe if I touched it,I'll be able to sense it, I walked over to the tree and placed a hand on it.Looks like I was right, placing my hand or touching the tree I was able to sense the life force of the tree.
I gazed over to another tree and walked up towards it, I placed my hand on it and noticed a small difference of life force/life energy.
This tree has more life force than the first tree I touched. I couldn't properly tell if this tree was an older tree or a younger tree.The most important key difference was the life force/energy.
I went over to a wooden fence and tested out if there where any life force, and the results were pretty shocking, it was weak and very faint.
Hmm I looked over to rock about the size of my palm, on the ground and I picked it up, I channel a bit of mana and yup, most things have a life force.
Grandma returned with two different yet similar devices.
"Here channel Mana into this Lacrima, it will ready all your element talents from 1-10 , 1/10 being no to little talent and 10/10 to the maximum talent."
Grandma asked me to channel mana into which I did and the result where.
