Larissa's POV
Carson guided me along a hidden trail that curved through thick tropical plants until we reached a small open space. My jaw dropped when I saw what waited there - a sleek black helicopter sitting on a concrete landing pad.
"You have got to be joking."
He flashed that devastating grin. "Not even a little. It's the only way to really see this place."
"I have never set foot in a helicopter in my life."
"There's a first time for everything." He walked me toward the aircraft where a uniformed pilot stood waiting. "Morning, Cain."
"Mr. Gary. Mrs. Gary." The pilot gave us both a respectful nod.
Carson's strong hands helped me climb into the passenger seat before he handed me a bulky headset. "You'll need this so we can hear each other. These rotors make one hell of a noise."
