Chapter 10
Sunday came, and everyone is getting ready for a long ride that Hikari planned for their new training. We see Vinny receiving a notification from his phone.

(Japanese) (Hikari)
Everyone, kindly prepare your school uniform because we will be staying overnight at this one local inn I found online. Prepare some necessary equipment needed, like water, cloths, a spare tire, or something. That is all!!
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"She really is ruthless; luckily Ren and I are used to this. I just hope those 3 will last with her."
Vinny then gets a Nikey gym sling bag and fits in the necessary equipment he will be needing. The bag contains a spare tire, a spare interior, and some patch kits. Vinny also put in his uniform and spare clothes; he also put in his wallet and other items.

"I should inform the others at the café that I will be gone today."

Everyone, I will be gone for today, so you guys take it for today.

/Noted, boss. Have fun this day and stay safe!

"Now that's done, I should head out now."
Vinny gets his bike and rides to the destination Hikari told them. When Vinny gets there, he sees Hikari, Shin, Kuro, and Haruto.

"Looks like Vinny is here now; now the only one we need to wait for is Ren, that late punk!!"
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"Looks like Ren is late once again."
(Japanese) (The 3)
"Oh, Vinny, long time no see!!"
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"While we wait for Ren, I will explain what you 3 will be doing."
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"Wait, you haven't told them yet?"
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"Sadly, not yet."
(Japanese) (Shin)
"Tell us what exactly?"
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"Your new training, or more of a challenge, is you guys will need to race with us."
(Japanese) (The 3)
"WHAT!?"
(Japanese) (Kuro)
"There's no way we will win against you guys!!"
(Japanese) (Haruto)
"Vinny One will dominate us!!"
(Japanese) (Shin)
"Can't agree more with them"
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"That is one of the reasons why you need to race us. You guys lack confidence with yourselves; you guys don't even see your own potential. Second, this will be a long race. There are also no victors here, or this is not about winning or losing, but this is the time we see if your training paid off and if you guys are capable of racing with one another."
(Japanese) (Kuro)
"Well… I can't argue with that one, but still this is torture! "

When Ren arrives at the scene.

"Here I am, people... Why do you guys look so dead? "
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"It's about the long ride and the little race Hikari prepares for them."

(Japanese) (Hikari)
"Alright everyone, get ready now. We will leave now; once we start pedaling, the race starts."
Everyone gets ready for the long ride/race. The team are Ren, Vinny, and Hikari vs. Shin, Haruto, and Kuro; their goal is to reach and have a coordination with one another to at least put up a fight with the monster trio. The destination, or the finish line, is Kumagaya Inn from the Koma Terrace Nishisando Park area, which is a 4-hour cycling trip.
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"1…2…3…GO!!!"
The 6 of them start pedaling, but the monster trio sprints ahead like a veteran cyclist that is pushing power and strength in the core and leg part; the trio is dragging their bike while sprinting to accelerate and take the lead at the first minute.
(Japanese) (Shin)
"Dammit, even at the start they're taking the lead!!? "
(Japanese) (Kuro)
"They're dragging their bike while sprinting; that's dangerous!! "
(Japanese) (Haruto)
"There's no way to beat them!! "
(Japanese) (Kuro)
"Never mind that, focus everyone, and take formation!! "
Kuro, Haruto, and Shin take an aerodynamic position to catch up with the monster trio. While the 3 are struggling to catch up, we go to the monster trio.
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"You guys need to look after them. I will go ahead; I just need to do something. I will also reserve us a room; this will also make it more fair for them for a 2v3."
(Japanese) (Ren)
"Is it the business? "
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"No, something else."
(Japanese) (Ren)
"Okay, then keep safe, then."
Vinny pushes ahead and accelerates more. We go back to the other trio; they notice that Vinny is sprinting ahead and getting further and further. They decide that they will sprint also while maintaining an aerodynamic formation. Kuro is the one leading the group and pushing ahead, canceling the wind.
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"Nice teamwork, but this is a long run. If you guys start speeding and getting past your limits, you will never make it to the end."
(Japanese) (Ren)
"I think Vinny triggers them to accelerate, though? Hahahaha."
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"I think they have good coordination, but I think they lack the knowledge of what their strengths and weaknesses are and how to read the area they're in."
(Japanese) (Ren)
"I can see that we are on a little uphill; as newbies they don't notice it, but my leg muscles notice it right away. It's a little harder to pedal than usual."
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"It's because you know every inch of your bike, and so do I. For that, we know if something is broken or something is wrong with our bikes; we also know the weight of our bikes too."
The other catch-up
(Japanese) (Haruto)
"Not so bad, huh!? "
(Japanese) (Ren)
"Yeah, you catch up to us. Well done, guys, but hate to break it to you, we are not even close to half of our trip, so we take it gently and slow~~."
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"We are going to train you guys to the brim when we get back. You guys did not even notice that we are still so far away and that we will meet a little uphill course, or so I thought, because we are already going uphill."
The monster duo speeds up a little to overcome the uphill course.
(Japanese) (Shin)
"We are so screwed…"
(Japanese) (Haruto)
"I want to go home…"
(Japanese) (Kuro)
"Well, kill me already… Well, we don't have a choice; let's just take their advice and go slow and steady and store some energy for the last lap."
The 2 agree and eventually finish the uphill course, but they still have a long way to go. Vinny, on the other hand, is nearing the halfway point of the ride, maintaining a 30 km/h pace while also having a huge bag.
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"This is a challenge for endurance, not gonna lie; this long ride is killing me."
Vinny then realizes that the next courses are downhill and a flat surface all the way to their final destination. Vinny grins and gets ready to sprint all out.
(Japanese) (Vinny)
"This should be fun. I think I know now why Hikari picked this place to ride!"
Vinny then sprints all out. Vinny drags his bike and goes all out. We are going back to the monster duo.
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"I'm guessing that Vinny already noticed why I picked this route."
(Japanese) (Ren)
"Knowing Vinny, he does, he will go all out sprinting till he reaches the end."
(Japanese) (Hikari)
"We should also speed up a little more; this will be a downhill course, and next will be a flat course."
The two speed up also and start dragging their bike while sprinting.
