Chapter 17 - Jutsu Arsenal

Ten days passed. Indra hadn't gone near the Academy. His eyes looked hollow, his figure sunken, his movements sluggish, like a ghost wandering his own home.

His gaze fell on the silent walls of the house.

"Eat at time… clean the house," he murmured, echoing Renji's words, the only anchor left to keep him moving.

He stood, stepped into the kitchen, and began washing a pot. The sound of rice pouring, water splashing—it was all mechanical.

Two pots simmered on a low flame before long, filling the quiet house with faint warmth. Indra, broom in hand, drifted from room to room. He swept, gathered the dust, cleaned the cabinets, mopped the floors.

It was the routine of someone clinging desperately to order, to the last words of a brother who would never return.

After bathing, he sat at the desk and ate in silence. Time felt strange—slipping quickly and yet unbearably slow.

When the dishes were done, his eyes inevitably returned to the black box.

He carried it outside, sat beneath the dull sunlight, and lifted the lid.

Scrolls, notes, letters—all Renji's voice left behind.

---

Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Fire Jutsu (Katon: Hōsenka no Jutsu)

"Small fireballs that can be hidden with shuriken. I used this as a deceptive, fast strike in combat. Enemies have little chance to dodge when distracted by steel and flame together."

Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu (Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu)

"The Uchiha's hallmark. Indra, you've already learned it… but one day, the children who call me uncle will need it too. Pass it on."

Indra smiled faintly, then swallowed the ache rising in his throat. He moved on.

Body Flicker Technique (Shunshin no Jutsu)

"Simple but crucial for assassinations and ambushes.

I tried to create an advanced version of Body Flicker but failed… these are my notes.

Most shinobi channel chakra evenly into their legs. Too wasteful.

My idea: condense chakra into the soles of the feet, then release it in explosive bursts. Instant movement… if it doesn't tear your muscles apart.

Tried layering Fire Release into it—failed. Too much recoil, burned my legs. Maybe another element? Or a way to contain the force.

If you succeed, call it Uchiha-Style: Phantom Flicker (Uchiha-ryū: Gen'ei Shunshin) for me."

Shadow Clone Jutsu (Kage Bunshin no Jutsu)

"The Academy teaches this for practice—but in war, a shadow clone is a second life.

Send a clone first, never yourself. The feedback tells you what lies ahead.

Use multiple clones, at different speeds. Most enemies strike the wrong one.

Hide yourself among them.

Feed chakra into a clone with a jutsu prepped. If it dispels at the right time, the enemy won't know what hit them.

Remember, Indra—recklessness kills faster than any enemy. Mastery is not strength. It's timing and deception."

Fire Release: Dragon Flame Jutsu (Katon: Ryūka no Jutsu)

"A stream of fire guided along wires. Perfect for trapping and burning enemies in one motion."

Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation (Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku)

"A wall of flames. I used it to escape pursuit from Kumo shinobi. Perhaps pair it with clones."

Fire Release: Flame Bullet Barrage (Katon: Enpūdan)

"Rapid bursts of flame. Less taxing than Annihilation, good for prolonged battles. But don't be the fool who only relies on fire."

Indra's eyes caught on a separate leather-bound booklet. The ink was worn, but every stroke bled with Renji's discipline.

Chakra Flow (Specialized Note)

"Indra, steel alone is limited. Even the sharpest blade dulls against armor, hides, or jutsu. With chakra, a blade can cut what steel cannot.

Control first. Grip your kunai. Channel chakra into the edge, never the hilt. Wrap the steel in a thin, invisible skin.

Sharpness and resistance. A proper coat sharpens and protects. Parry even chakra-forged weapons.

The Candle Test. Cut a flame without snuffing it out. Only then will your edge be true.

Warnings. Pour too much chakra, and the blade shatters—or rebounds into you.

The Sharingan will help you measure flow. Use it. I never mastered elemental coating… maybe you will."

At the bottom of the box, Indra found notes of Sharingan genjutsu, the writing terse, confident. His fingers lingered on them. His eyes burned with three tomoe, their glow flickering in the dim light.

For the first time in days, Indra's lips parted into a faint smile.

"My rise… begins here."

——

To be honest it was hard to come up with jutsu's name and their ability so I created a bunch of jutsu names and description on paper fold the paper and then randomly picked some up.
