Chapter 27 — Morning Disasters and Flirty Chaos

Sunny POV

When I woke up that morning, I knew something was wrong.

Not because of an enemy attack. Not because of a storm.

But because three very warm, very clingy bodies were wrapped around me.

Nami was snuggled on my left, her arms looped around me like she owned the place.

Nojiko was pressed against my right, her soft breath tickling my neck.

And Aqua… Aqua had somehow draped herself half across my chest like a lazy cat.

Normally, this would be paradise.

Except—

…my body had its own traitorous reaction.

[system]: Warning. Protrusion detected. Highly inappropriate timing. Recommend immediate disengagement.

{ego}: Ara, ara~ look at you. A soldier standing tall at dawn. Embarrassed, are we? Or perhaps you want them to "salute" it properly? Fufufu~

I froze. Sweat dripped down my forehead.

This… was not the kind of battle I was ready for.

Then, Nami shifted. Her hand brushed my stomach—just a little too close.

Her sleepy eyes opened halfway, and she smirked.

"Oi, Sunny…" she whispered, voice husky from sleep. "You planning to poke someone to death with that?"

My entire soul left my body.

Before I could answer, Aqua stirred too, blinking in confusion before noticing my… problem.

Her blue eyes widened, then sparkled mischievously.

"Ohhh~ so that's what guys get in the morning? Hehehe, don't worry, I can help drive it away." She made a suggestive little gesture with her hand, tongue poking out as if mocking me.

Nojiko leaned up on one elbow, her hair messy but her smile dangerous.

"Mm, poor Sunny… so restless this early in the morning. Should we give him… a little relief?"

They were all awake now.

And they were all teasing me.

I panicked. "I—I'll handle it myself!!"

I bolted upright, rolled off the futon, and sprinted to the nearest bedroom like my life depended on it.

Behind me, I could hear the trio bursting into laughter.

Their voices chased me down the hallway.

"Sunny, you coward!"

"You don't trust your girls?"

"Ara Ara~ he's so shy~!" Aqua sang out.

Five minutes later.

I slumped against the doorframe, face red, dignity shattered.

Mission… accomplished. But at what cost?

Nami sat at the table, arms crossed, glaring at me with puffed cheeks.

"You didn't even give us a chance. Idiot Sunny."

Nojiko sighed, though her smirk betrayed her amusement.

"You really ran away to 'take care of business' like a scared boy? Ara Ara, that's… kind of cute."

Aqua, of course, made it worse. She leaned forward, chin in her hands, and whispered,

"Ne, Sunny… was it me you were thinking about? Or Nami? Or maybe Nojiko?"

I choked on air.

Belle-mère, who had been watching this circus from the kitchen doorway, finally stepped in.

She had that grin—the kind only a mom with way too much blackmail material could wear.

"Kids these days… you think you're being subtle, huh? Ara Ara~ Sunny, you've got yourself a real problem."

{ego}: Oh, she's enjoying this. Look at Belle-mère, the smug queen. And your three girls glaring at you like you cheated on them with your right hand… delightful drama!

[system]: Recommendation: apologize, distract, or prepare for severe emotional damage.

I groaned. "I said I was embarrassed! What was I supposed to do with all three of you looking at me like predators?"

"Predators?" Nami snapped, though her cheeks were red.

"Who's the predator here?" Nojiko asked sweetly, leaning in.

"Me!" Aqua raised her hand without hesitation.

Everyone turned to stare at her.

"What? At least I'm honest!"

The Morning Aftermath

Breakfast turned into chaos.

Nami kept calling me an idiot every five minutes, though her hand brushed mine under the table more than once.

Nojiko "accidentally" sat too close, stealing bites from my plate with a teasing smile.

And Aqua… Aqua was Aqua, loudly insisting that tonight she was sleeping in the middle to keep me "under control."

Belle-mère just sipped her coffee, muttering "Ara Ara" every time someone said something incriminating.

And me?

I had never been so flustered in my entire life.

Give me Kaido, give me Big Mom, give me an army of Marines.

Anything would be easier than three women who clearly enjoyed watching me squirm.

{ego}: Oh, but admit it. You love every second of it. The chaos, the affection, the little touches. You wouldn't trade this battlefield for the world.

[system]: …System analysis: user agrees. He is doomed.

I sighed.

"Why do I feel like every day with you three is going to shorten my lifespan?"

Nami smirked.

"Because it will."

Nojiko leaned against me.

"And you'll love it."

Aqua clapped her hands happily.

"Exactly! Now, let's see what other embarrassing situations we can put Sunny in!"

Belle-mère's laugh echoed across the room.

"Ara Ara~ poor boy. He doesn't stand a chance."
