Chapter 36 - A Kingdom Made of Love

Chapter 30 — A Kingdom Made of Love

Sunny & Aqua's POV

---

Morning Chaos

The sun rose lazily over Cocoyasi, painting the sea with gold. Inside Sunny's house, peace lasted approximately three seconds.

Then came the shrill cry—

"SUUUUNNNNYYYYY!"

The door burst open, Aqua storming in like an uninvited hurricane. She launched herself onto his bed and shook him like a maraca.

Sunny cracked open an eye. "I thought we agreed you'd wait until at least breakfast before trying to murder me with affection."

Aqua huffed, puffing her cheeks, hair bouncing like waves. "Lies! I never agreed to that! Today's our day—you promised!"

With a groan, Sunny sat up, rubbing his face. Her scent hit him immediately—fresh rain after a storm, sea breeze mixed with something uniquely Aqua. His lips quirked. "You're lucky you smell good, or I'd toss you back in the ocean."

Her pout froze. Then, slowly, a blush spread across her cheeks. "Y-You… don't just say things like that so casually!

He leaned closer, teasing. "What, the truth?"

She smacked his chest with both hands, voice high and flustered. "Idiot Sunny!"

Aqua's Grand Gesture

Later that day, Sunny followed her to the shore. She stood on the waves barefoot, arms outstretched, her eyes gleaming with determination.

"Sunny," she called, her voice carrying, "watch carefully. I'm going to show you how strong I've become. For you."

The sea rumbled.

At first, it was subtle—a shiver in the tide, a pull in the currents. Then the horizon buckled. Vast walls of water rose skyward, glowing faintly as Aqua poured her will into them.

Sunny's jaw tightened. She's… reshaping the ocean itself.

The water hardened, glittering, transforming into massive slabs of sea-stone. They fused together, expanding outward in a breathtaking display.

[A/N: Aqua to get Sunny is praise literary create Australia size of Island]

Within minutes, an entire island spread before them—over a thousand kilometers across. Forests sprouted in seconds, rivers carved paths, the sky itself seemed to bend with the sheer scope of her power.

At the center stood a shimmering palace, its towers reaching like frozen waves toward the heavens.

Aqua spun on her heel, panting, sweat shining on her temple. "T-This… this is my kingdom. Our kingdom."

Her lips trembled, her blue eyes wide with hope and fear. "Do you… like it?"

---

Sunny's POV

He was silent for a long time, drinking in the view. Not the palace. Not the rivers. Not the mountains that had been nothing but sea minutes ago.

Her.

Her determination. Her vulnerability. The way her body trembled from pouring everything into this insane, impossible feat—just to impress him.

Sunny stepped forward and cupped her face. Her skin was cool, like fresh water. "Aqua. You didn't just make an island. You made me fall harder."

Her knees nearly buckled. The island itself pulsed, forests blooming brighter in response to her racing heart.

"A-Ara… ara," she whispered, cheeks crimson. "Saying things like that… you're too bold."

"Then stop me."

"I—I don't want to."

---

Inside the Palace

The palace interior shimmered like carved sapphire. Pillars bent like flowing water. Walls rippled faintly as though alive. Every part of it reflected Aqua's emotions, and every emotion reflected Sunny.

They wandered through together, her hand brushing his whenever she dared. Each accidental touch left her reeling, waves lapping at the palace walls in sync with her fluster.

Finally, they reached a throne-like seat in the grand hall. Aqua fidgeted, biting her lip.

Be bold, Aqua. Nami kissed him. You can't fall behind…!

Before she could second-guess herself, she tugged him down into the seat and—heart hammering—climbed into his lap.

---

Aqua's POV

Don't faint. Don't faint. Don't faint!

She perched on his lap, her dress pulling slightly, her thighs pressing against his. Her entire body was trembling, but she forced herself to stay.

His arms wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer. His warmth burned.

Sunny's breath tickled her ear. "So this is your big move? Sitting on me until I melt?"

She gasped, cheeks blazing. "D-Don't say it like that!"

But then… she moved. Just a little. Her hips shifted, pressing against him. Not on purpose—at least, that's what she told herself.

Sunny inhaled sharply. Instead of teasing, he matched her movement, slow and deliberate. The pressure made her moan softly, muffled by her own hand.

Her heart screamed. This is too much. This is too good.

"Aqua…" Sunny's voice was low, husky. "Every part of you is mine."

Her vision blurred. The palace walls cracked, rivers roared, flowers burst and died in seconds.

"I… I…"

Her body went limp, joy overwhelming her. She fainted against his chest.

---

Collapse of a Kingdom

The island dissolved. The palace crumbled. Rivers drained back into the sea. In moments, her magnificent creation was gone, swallowed whole by the ocean.

Sunny caught her easily, holding her in his arms. Her breathing was soft, even, her face flushed with the ghost of a smile.

He chuckled under his breath, brushing a strand of hair from her cheek. "You idiot goddess. You give me the world, and then faint before hearing me say I love it."

Lifting her bridal-style, he carried her back toward Cocoyasi, the sea calm once more, but his heart anything but.
