"ROAAARR!"
In an instant the bear's limbs were covered in a blood red light and dashed towards Lilia.
In nearly an instant they were in front of Lilia as they swung their claws at her.
*clang*
Lilia quickly used her spear and managed to block the frenzied bears claws, but they were relentless and swung their claws rapidly, starting to push Lilia back.
Seeing no chance of them stopping I fired a flame spear and pierced their right claw, pinning it to the ground. Taking this chance Lilia stepped back three meters creating some distance.
The frenzied bear didn't even flinch from having its paw pierced, it only grew more frenzied and in one swift act of ruthlessness it simply pulled its claw tearing it apart.
"Damn, it really doesn't care about pain. Well, that'll be a pain to deal with." Lilia muttered to herself.
Soon after Lilia started to be covered in lightning as her stance changed and a sharp glint appeared in her eyes.
With a yellow flash and a BOOM of thunder she was in front of them with her spear pierced in their body. Even with the spear in them it still sparked electricity causing half of their body to start twitching as it started to char.
Ignoring the damage the bear swung their injured paw at her but due to how deep she pierced and the thickness of the bears flesh there was a minor delay due to her spear being stuck in them.
Noticing this I teleported next to her and placed my hand on her shoulder teleporting us away from them, but I was a bit too late. With my sudden appearance the bear changed the trajectory of its swing towards me instead and failing to realize this I was hit drawing blood and breaking my arm.
Luckily, I was able to teleport away before my torso was damaged, but it didn't change the fact that I was severely damaged. My arm below the shoulder was mangled with what seemed to be bones poking out along with torn skin and it being 30 percent severed.
The frenzied bear finally causing substantial damage and drawing blood grew madder and more frenzied as a blood red aura started to completely envelop it.
'DAMN IT!' Not only am I out of commission for the next couple minutes but it also gained a buff!'
'We have to end this fast!'
"Lilia my analysis can only see the status and not details, use yours and tell me how much it's been buffed."
Hearing my request she immediately went silent as if staring at something before a scowl appeared on her face. "It's a 300 percent boost to all physical stats so it's currently even higher than me in terms of strength, endurance, and defense."
"Shit! I really didn't want to show everything here."
With that statement 8 flame spears manifested around me and was fired towards the frenzied bear.
The second one spear was fired another was created and in less than 5 seconds over 60 spears were fired turning them into something resembling a pin cushion.
It tried to resist but it quickly fell silent and stopped moving.

The second I gained the skills I felt it. The pain in my broken arm immediately went away. It wasn't that I no longer felt it, but it simply didn't hurt, fading into a faint pressure.
"Well, how do you want to split the loot." I said as I turned towards Lilia.
Once I turned to face her it revealed a face that can only be described as flabbergasted.
"What the hell was that!"
"What do you mean?" I said while turning my head away avoiding eye contact. "It was simply an ordinary procedure for dealing with powerful enemies."
"You're telling me that your 'ordinary procedure' is to just toss a shit load of spells towards them."
"..."
"Yes?"
Hearing my response she just let out a exacerbated sigh. "Fine, fair enough. I'm just not going to question it"
"Well," I said trying to get back on topic, "how do you want to divide the boss?"
She paused for a second before answering. "How about I take the corpse while you take the core." She said. "The core is more valuable since you can make gear, magic powder, skill books or just sell it and you did get the kill."
"That's fine with me. Can you cut it out for me since I don't really have anything to use?"
"Sure!" She said before cutting open its abdomen and taking out a small crystal.
It was merely a size that could fit in your palm, only being around eight cm in length. It had a slight purple hue revealing that it came from an epic monster.
Taking the crystal, I started to admire it as a slight amount of greed started to emerge.
'It's quite beautiful. It's still a bit of a shame that only boss or advanced monsters have one. How good it will be to just have a pile of them.'
'Anyway, It was definitely a bit of a trouble to get this guy. I knew bosses are one rating above the dungeon, but I didn't expect a epic monster to be so tough.'
"Hey Lilia, I wonder when the dungeon will create an exit."
"It usually opens back up 10 minutes after the boss dies so we just have to wait a bit longer."
Hearing this I nodded.
"Diablo, do you want to exchange contact info."
"?"
"You were a pretty good partner to go through the dungeon with so I figure we could exchange contact to team up with in the future, plus you'll probably become powerful so getting to know you won't be a loss."
"Sure, I don't mind but I don't know my number on the top of my head so you can give me yours and I'll text you once I'm home."
"Alright! My phone number is *****. Make sure to text me once you get home"
"I will, don't worry I don't break promises."
Shortly after finishing out conversation an announcement permeated throughout the dungeon.
[The boss monster has been killed!]
[100 portals have been opened!]
[The dungeon will close in 3 hours!]
Soon after a portal opened next to the boss's body.
"Well talk to you later Lilia. Even I can't deal with space-time turbulence."
"Alright, talk to you later."
With that both of us stepped into the portal and left the dungeon.
