Kayden came home awhile ago, Aster and me were in the living room watching Sunday cartoons.
Kayden had sold the gold spoons and the diamonds to some people who were willing to buy them with question and at a high price considering the gold was pure and the diamonds were of higher quality in terms of color and clearity.
Kayden also allowed me to order standard tinker tools from Toybox and I also ordered components to build the arc reactor and armor for my first suit.
I also looked up the capes in Brockton and since it was almost the start of canon, I needed to be aware of what's the same and what's changed.
In this world, the PRT wasn't what it was called. It was called The PMRT, The Para and Metahuman Response Team.
They still kept the terms Blaster, Breaker, Changer, Mover, Shaker, Striker and Trump. But instead of numbers to determine threat levels, they used the mutant classification in marvel. Betas, Alphas and Omegas.
These classifications had a category of 1 through 3, 1 being the lowest and 3 being the highest. Most Parahumans ranged from Beta 1s to Alpha 1s but the same couldn't be said about Metahumans though.
Metahumans were the rarest to awaken abilities but almost all of them consisted of Beta 3s through Alpha 3s. Omegas were extremely rare and were considered an avoid at all costs or call in the Triumvirate.
For the villains, The Empire and the ABB have two more capes on their roster while the Merchants remain the same. The Undersiders exist with one new cape on their team, so that meant Coil was also here. There was no Faultline's crew or Palaquin, in its place was the Hellfire club lead by Diamond Queen, a metahuman who I believed might be Emma Frost. Not much is known about her other than what she looked like, which was a 5'10, thick milf with a diamond encrusted masquerade mask.
The rouge's were the same, no changes there but the Heroes? They were something else.
The Protectorate and New Wave had the same heroes, but three of them were metahumans and those three were considered the heavy hitters of the heroes.
In the Protectorate, Miss Milita and Battery were metas and in New Wave there was only Star Girl, who actually was Glory Girl. Panacea wasn't apart of New Wave, she actually was a rouge that had a clinic that was in the territory of the Diamond Queen. None of this is public information, which is why I hacked into the Protectorate database. Dragon is smart, but with my knowledge and the fact Tony Stark was able to hack Uranos's technology and a Symbiote Dragon, this was nothing.
Miss Militia power was strongly similar to Green Lantern. She could make constructs out of green energy from her imagination, including tinker tech creations like power armor.
Battery was the strongest in the Protectorate, and her power actually had me worried considering what they were describing was basically Cole Macgrath from Infamous.
She had the basics of his main powers, such as superhuman strength, durability, electrokinesis and minor magnetism. She can travel through power lines and can run up to six hundred miles per hour. She had a thinker ability that allows her to slow down her perception significantly, allowing her to dodge multiple bullets firing at her. She also could absorb electricity from any power source that contained it.
Her breaker state was the scariest thing about her. Her powers essentially became Cole if he was evil, making her lightning red and significantly more powerful. Her red lightning was so powerful that she atomized Crawler when he went rouge from the Nine.
Other than that, the Protectorate ENE team was the same, including the Wards.
Victoria Dallon AKA Star girl, was basically Captain Marvel with CW Supergirl's bubbly personality. She was a standard Alexandria package, only with the ability to absorb Energy and control it. She was basically Brandish, Lady Photon, Flashbang and a significantly stronger Manpower rolled into one. She had a personal forcefield like in the story but it could take a lot more than one hit.
Other than those three, I wasn't really worried about the rest of the capes in Brockton. Was I being arrogant? Yes, yes I was. With the knowledge and the power I possess, I could really evaporate the oxygen out of someone's body or flash freeze them if I wanted. So my arrogance was warranted.
Kayden gave me permission to head down towards the Boat Graveyard to test out my abilities. At first she wasn't going to but after I showed her that I can make my self invisible she relented.

It was late at night when I arrived at the Boat Graveyard. I promised Kayden I would avoid any fights and that I wouldn't stay out to late. I was going to Arcadia tomorrow and I really just wanted to test some of my other abilities and find a base.
That's why I wanted to come to the Boat Graveyard, there were plenty of boats out in the water that I could refurbish into a proper stronghold.
I finished building my arc reactor, the power source I used was Unobtainium. I purchased enough materials to build a mask and armor to at least cover my arms and legs while purchasing custom clothes from Toybox.
I basically spent all my money to make my first suit but that's ok. I plan to get in contact with Dragon and help free her. Maybe next week, I can just strip some of these boats for parts. The ones on the beach probably were picked clean but the ones in the water were still intact.
I checked all my systems through my hud in my mask, I only had enough material to create a functioning mask that monitored my arc reactor and my jet boots. The power output was extremely powerful thanks to my unobtainium being used as a power source. With this arc reactor being more powerful to essentially power Brockton Bay and Boston for the next several decades, and still have a little more juice left to use.
My suit was a mix between armor and cloth. The armor covering my arms and knees were made of secondary Adamantium and Titanium mix alloys with Kevlar weave.
Even with my absurd energy manipulation, I was essentially a glass cannon. One good hit or if I used up to much of my energy, I was out. But with the arc reactor? I essentially had nigh unlimited energy to pull from and tech to help amplify my abilities.
Activating my jet boots at a low power output and start slowly ascending ten feet in the air. Feeling confident and trusting my memories, I began to slowly increase the output and start picking up speed as I leaned forward and started flying over the water.
I started testing my flight control and coordination as I weaved around boats while also searching for the perfect ship to use as my stronghold.
I flew towards the partially beached section of the Boat Graveyard when I saw a nearly intact freight ship. It was exactly the same one as the Churchill in the MCU that Klaue was using as a base.
Landing near the entrance on the ship, I made my way inside and began exploring.
The ship was rusted that's for sure, but the inside looked exactly like the one shot in the MCU. They're were still electronics and parts inside I could make a temporary arc reactor in the engine room.
Tonight, I'll work on getting this place some power. I think I should create a VI like Jarvis or Friday. That way, it could help keep track of things while assisting me.
I should probably call Kayden to let her know I'll be a little late.
