Chapter 58 - Chapter 60: Interrogation and Attack

"Speak properly, you know I'm Henry, right? I'm a sheriff and won't kill people randomly, but if you don't cooperate..." Henry employed both soft and hard tactics while removing the towel from Bick's mouth.

"I'll talk, I'll talk, Sheriff Henry, please arrest me," Bick said repeatedly.

"Go ahead, your life is now in your own mouth. Your other companion can also talk - I'll ask him later too. If you lie..."

"I won't, I won't, Sheriff Henry, I absolutely won't lie." Bick quickly stated his position, then confessed everything in a torrent of words.

"We're the Dodge Gang from Kansas City. The whole gang has over 500 people divided into four teams. Our team of 136 is led by 'Cross-eyed' Frank. One of our members, Bond, took 7 others under the 'Skull Gang' name to Fresco Town to assassinate you, and you killed them."

"Frank discovered this a few days ago, then learned about your ten-thousand-dollar bounty and decided to ambush you."

"This time all remaining 128 men came. They're ambushed on both sides of Death Valley mountains. We 25 people are responsible for watching the horses."

Henry calculated in his mind and knew all twenty-five were accounted for here.

"Where exactly are they ambushed? How do the ambushed people contact each other? Including you?"

"I don't know where they're ambushed. Contact is by flag signals. If we have issues, we go to that protruding rock over ten meters from the cave entrance to signal. There are seven types of signals - I'll tell you..."

After listening, Henry stuffed the towel back in his mouth, then woke up the other bandit by stepping on him, repeating the same process.

This young bandit confessed even faster since Bick had already talked.

After comparing their stories, Henry found neither was lying. After asking more intelligence about the Dodge Gang, he gagged this bandit's mouth again too.

Henry walked to Richard and asked: "Mr. Mellon, can you shoot?"

"Yes."

"What about you two ladies?"

Madeline and Edith shook their heads, but Edith immediately added: "My name is Edith, and I'm good at archery."

Henry looked at this girl who closely resembled Catherine Jones from the movie "The Mask of Zorro" and said with a smile: "Very good, Edith, you were very brave just now."

Then he turned to the standing Richard and said: "Mr. Mellon, I just went down and eliminated the other 18 bandits watching the horses. Don't worry. Now go get weapons and ammunition from those dead bandits and protect the two ladies in this cave. Leave the remaining 103 bandits to me."

Richard immediately replied: "No problem, it's an honor to fight alongside you."

Henry patted his shoulder encouragingly, then turned and walked out of the cave carrying two red and yellow striped flags.

Richard quickly went to the four fallen card players to select rifles, pistols, and ammunition.

Henry pulled his hat down to cover his face as much as possible, then hid behind that rock, only exposing his hands to signal: There are some problems here, send some people over.

Jim, who had been watching this area, immediately noticed and told Frank: "Russell just signaled that there are some problems and wants us to send people over. Probably something's wrong with those nobles. Should I go check?"

Frank said: "Henry and his group should arrive soon. Take five men, go and come back quickly. Resolve it fast without making too much noise."

Jim immediately called five bandits he was close with to go to Russell's location.

Along the way, thinking about seeing the charming beauty soon, Jim's heart burned with desire and his steps flew.

After several rounds of flag signals, Henry returned to the cave, signaled Richard and the others to stay quiet, then pulled three throwing knives from three corpses, wiped them clean with their clothes, and inserted them into his knife harness.

Then he threw the five corpses including Russell over twenty meters down the mountain toward where the horses were, to prevent the heavy smell of blood from alerting the coming bandits.

Of course, before this, all wallets and remaining weapons from these corpses had been collected into his space.

Henry stood behind two fir trees at the cave entrance, used one gray pearl to restore his health to 100%, and waited quietly.

Over ten minutes later, he faintly heard sounds coming from the direction he had originally arrived. He adjusted his position and hid accordingly.

A few more minutes passed, and a voice called out: "Russell, are you getting old? Having problems watching a few people?"

As soon as the words fell, a group of six came around from the flag-signaling rock area.

When they walked to three or four meters from the cave entrance side...

Henry stepped out, activated his Super Reaction talent, and waved both hands repeatedly.

"Whoosh whoosh whoosh whoosh." Four throwing knives struck the necks of the four bandits behind like cold lightning, then Henry lunged forward.

In less than five meters, Henry pounced in the blink of an eye!

Right hook! Left hook!

At this point maybe only half a second had passed. The two bandits in front had just reacted when Henry was already before them.

Jim in front tried to block Henry's punch but found his hands hadn't even lifted before his jaw was thunderously struck. Immediately like being hit by a wild buffalo, stars flashed before his eyes, his head spun, and he collapsed unconscious.

The bandit behind received the same treatment, hit in the left jaw by a left hook and similarly crashing to the ground.

The four people in the cave only saw a black shadow flash like a ghost, then two people fell at the entrance, all stunned speechless.

Henry entered the cave, struck Bick and the other bandit's necks hard to knock them unconscious again, removed the two handcuffs, then walked out and cuffed Jim and his companion. He carried one in each hand back into the cave and threw them down like garbage onto the rocky ground with a bang.

Edith and Madeline saw that one of them was the previously obscene bandit and felt very satisfied.

So many powerful bandits were like toys in Henry's hands, shocking and impressing the two women even more.

Especially Edith, whose eyes sparkled brightly like glittering sapphires.

Henry took out gloves and put them on, walked to the two young bandits, pulled towels from their mouths, then stuffed the two towels into the mouths of the two bandits behind.

Then he used the same method, first waking Jim then torturing him until he was drenched in cold sweat from pain.

Finally when Henry removed the towel from his mouth, Jim immediately answered every question - a perverted flatterer's willpower really wasn't that strong.

Moreover, he saw Bick slowly waking up, indicating it wasn't certain death, so he definitely wanted to fight for survival.

In the eyes of these Western bandits, staying alive was the first priority. As long as they could live, everything still had opportunities.
