Chapter 7 - CHAPTER - 7 ARRIVAL OF THE JURY

In the hills of the east, hidden within an ancient cave, moonlight shimmered on the stones like silver. The air carried a mysterious fragrance—that of the Yakshini Jury, who had been hiding there for some time. Her presence radiated a magical aura: long black hair, eyes burning like fire, and a body that resembled that of a goddess of nature.

With her was Atoga, an ordinary eighteen-year-old boy, who was Jury's host—he was her channel of power, her companion, gaining strength by being connected to her. They were deep within the cave, where the outside world's commotion could not reach.

Jury's eyes were turning red with rage. She sat pressed against the cave wall, her hands trembling as they held an ancient talisman. Some kind of necklace that could store objects. She spoke in a low, harsh voice,

"I will not let go of that Yakshini who beat me, who defeated me in battle. Lily… just hearing that name makes my blood boil. Her power had broken me, but now… now I will return. And I will take my revenge."

Atoga stepped close, his eyes soft. Holding Jury's hand, he said,

"I am with you, Jury. Do not worry. Just give me the power you have received. I will face that Yakshini named Lili as well. Together, we will handle everything. Your strength will be my strength."

Jury looked at him, and her rage softened into a gentle light. She smiled—a smile that illuminated the cave.

"Alright," she whispered, and there was a promise in her words.

Then, the distance between them disappeared. Atoga embraced Jury, and she rested her head on his shoulder. Their breaths mingled like two rivers merging into the ocean. Jury's power began flowing into Atoga—a warmth, a magic that melted every obstacle between them. They became connected, not just in body, but in soul.

A soft light spread through the cave, as if stars had descended to the earth. Time seemed to halt, and a sacred energy arose in their closeness—fueling the fire of revenge, yet filled with love.

When they parted, Atoga's eyes held a new glow. Jury said,

"Now we are ready. Lili's end is near."

The cave walls echoed with their laughter.

"She was the weakest, my level was just low…

But now she must die."

Jury slowly reached the mouth of the cave, where the cold wind played with her hair. Outside, the eastern hills shimmered in moonlight—the sky so open, so vast, that it seemed the stars had descended to touch ancient memories. Lush green trees swayed in the breeze, their leaves whispering as if telling an old tale.

Jury took a deep breath, a strange sadness mixing in her eyes. Centuries of burden, memories of battle, the bitterness of defeat—all surged at once.

"Two years… two thousand years… as if they passed," she said in a low, trembling voice, looking at the sky. "Time had imprisoned me, but now… now this world feels so changed. The trees are the same, the air the same, but I… I have changed. Lily had shattered me, but these nights, these stars… they will now be mine."

Atoga stood beside her, placing his hand on Jury's shoulder. His eyes were firm. Then he said softly,

"I am here. Now everything will be alright. We are together, Jury. Your power is mine, my strength is yours. What Lily did, she will pay for it. But first… first, we will reclaim this world. Come, let's go. It is time for a new beginning."

All this seemed more like a play of the mind than love.

Jury looked at him, and in her smile, anger blended with a new hope.

"I did not choose you for nothing; you must live for me."

Atoga tightened his grip and said,

"If you are with me, then I will conquer this world."

Hand in hand, they began walking along the hill path. Behind them, the cave's shadow stretched long, but ahead… ahead, a new dawn was hidden within the night's cloak.

Elsewhere, in the darkness of the cave, Snehwal was lost in a pile of books, reading intently. Seriousness and curiosity both shone in his eyes.

Lily followed him slowly from behind, like a little child carefully observing an elder's every move. Her gaze was fixed on Snehwal's actions, and her curiosity was hidden even in the softness of her steps.

Lily: "What are you searching for?"

Snehwal: "Books… there's always a lot hidden in them; it's just a matter of time to discern and understand.

Surely, there must be some secret here that can make me powerful."

Lily: "Read then. Meanwhile, I will attempt to break my next stage."
