Project - 565, seems to be yet the most tame world under the tag of distorted worlds but still being equally weird. It was also the first world to show intelligent complex life with human like physique. The also seemed to be able to communicate in their own otherworldly language. A way of decoding their language is being researched with the help of Dreamers and machines. No progress on the project made yet.
19th December 2050
The coordinates of the world were discovered, wait for any progress on decoding the language and end of Project 039 before sending Subject 971 to Project 565. Another notable thing discovered was that the world seems to be the stomach of an underwater creature. The creature has yet to be specified, but the world was tagged "The World Eater" because of the world accessible yet was inside the creature's stomach.
29th March 2051
With much efforts finally a translating device was invented as well as study on other world languages had began. Progress on sending Subject 971 to Project 039 in progress. He had been given a diary to write in, as he would be dropped there without any connection to the real world. The time progression in the two worlds is unknown but seems to not differ much. Plans are to bring him back after a month.
5th April 2051
The Travel was a success, Subject 971 has been deployed on his mission. No problems were recorded during the travel. Subject 971 informed us before the connection cut that the being's stomach seemed roughly around an medium to large island or maybe a bit bigger and he could feel it moving as soon as he entered the world.
The report under is records from his Diary.
Day 1,
I walked around to find a way to the civilisation which should be present inside this unknown creature. After nearly 4 hours, I located the civilisation. One thing I noticed was that the monster "ate" systematically every 12 hours and was consuming debris. From sunken ships to small islands. It seemed that it stayed in its stomach for around 12 hours before it gets sent towards its digestive track and more debris enter it's stomach. I was unsure if the people present would be friendly or not, so I progressed slowly towards them. I also noticed that the civilisation inside looked identical to humans, they traveled to the debris take what is needed and then go forward with their lives. I am unsure if there is life outside of this monster but there used to be for use. I was given resources to survive and observe in case they were to be aggressive. I stalked their actions to under how they were behaving. There were roughly around 70 individuals being 10 energetic kids, 40 younger adults and the rest be roughly around their 50s to 70s.
I have also noticed that it's surprising dry in here, giving the fact that I am inside a creature's stomach.
Day 2,
I reluctantly and slowly approached the settlement hoping not to be greeted with aggression which I wasn't. The people did not understand me, nor did I understand then as the translater needed at least a day to work but they showed hospitality. Not being able to communicate directly was a problem for now but their hand jesters showed that they wanted me to join them for a meal. It seemed as I have observed, they ate at a structure very similar to a town hall. They provided me with food and a space to live, I was on guard in case they did anything funny but that seemed like not a problem. Things went quite smoothly, the kids seemed to be extremely friendly, even after giving the fact that I was a stranger to them.
Day 3,
The machine had completed it's work, after wearing the headphones and collar like equipment I could understand them. Some words still remained unknown. I was partly able to community with them but it wasn't perfect, I did ask if anyone would teach me their language then spent most of the day understanding their language characters and spells. It wasn't quite difficult so slowly I was getting a hang of it. I also decided to share some of my supplies to the community to show respect in a way which they surely appreciated. Weirdly enough there was a good supply of food in the creature's stomach, from weird fishes to some which oddly enough looks like what you see on Earth. Not only that it seems that the creature's stomach also have a literal small island which did not get pushed by the water making it a good place to farm for them.
Day 5,
It took me 2 whole days to get a proper basic sense of their language, now I can use it roughly. I also discovered that they have their own cultures. I wasn't able to take part in it yet but I was able to watch a "Coming of age" Ceremony. My observation of it was as follow.
The coming of age ceremony was for Juya... If I am pronouncing it correctly, I am still very unsure. He was conducted to find anything valuable he could with in an hour of time from the debris. Whatever he found depending on it's worth will decide which class he would get in a sense. There is a complex class system, but I do not know much about it at the moment. As he was only allowed to grab a single item, he bought back a clam which was very much of a betting for his life because it could have a pearl which was like a currency in this community as it seems or it could have nothing and he will probably get a lower class in my idea. He did obtain a pearl and was give an middle class status of a sense.
Day 6,
The coming of age ceremony was around 11 hours ago and they are doing the completion of the ceremony and something similar to a feast in their eyes, I was invited to share food in the feast but I have not been able to take part in their ceremonies yet.
After that the day went on as simple as ever. I was try my best to help everywhere to understand the tasks they perform everyday. Their daily life involves Fishing, Exploring the debris which the creature consumes, Farming and Cooking. The children are allowed to help in tasks to learn them. I did notice that around 2 to 3 individuals travel somewhere every 2 days. Which is odd so I am staying on guard but they have not tried anything funny, yet.
