Day 7,
I decided to not think much and went on with helping around the village, trying to fit in hoping they will describe their traditions properly. I did also happened to go to the island where they farm and found a plant which seemed oddly enough similar to wheet. That was probably what was being processed into bread, but it acted more similar to mycelium or mushrooms as the inside of the creature was very dimly lighted from the light coming in from it's blow hole? I still have yet to find out what this massive creature is, but it seemed like some weird whale creature...
Day 10,
Time has been passing... slowly. I have been getting close to the villagers. They have started to accept me into their small community. My daily life has been the same as theirs. I was asked by the Chief to come with them for a ceremony of some kind. I do believe that they might have started to fully trust me now.
Day 11,
It seems there was a different ceremony to enlist someone who is not of the village into the village, this fact makes my suspicions of there being life outside of this creature to be true.
I was told to drink a beverage which oddly looked... very suspicious. Trusting them I drank it and my memory became foggy and I lost my senses...
Waking up, I was in the house they were letting me live in. I did ask the Village elders about the ceremony to understand it, which they agreed to surprisingly easily... They told me that the drink they game we was some kind of residue from the crops they grow, it acted similar to an alcoholic beverage to them with an additional property of making the drinker speak truth before losing consciousness. It seemed that only "Banished" are normally found inside the "world eater". The ritual is to ask the person of their crimes to understand what kind of person they are... they asked the same to me and ny answer moved them... If I were to guess then I probably told them about how I wasn't able to save my daughter from the world's evils leading to my current situation... They also told me that those who were evil and didn't deserve to live were thrown outside. I did ask how but they just told me to wait as there was another ceremony tomorrow late at night, which needed to be done before I was accepted completely which also started a nervous waiting period as I did my daily tasks...
Day 12,
The day was normal but late at night around the time I normally saw the men going somewhere and I had to follow them. After quite a bit of walking we reached... A ladder and platforms leading to another blow hole of the creature. After climbing out of it's blow hole... I was stunned. We were on top of a giant whale like creature which had both gills and blow holes? It had moss growing on it's body, it was so massive I couldn't see it's tail. I couldn't see anything properly except a vast ocean and 3 moons when I looked around. The creature itself particularly didn't need blow holes but still had 3 blow holes, it seemed to have been a method to avoid pressure inside it's mouth when it's eating or something... The villagers I came with told me that they have been living here since they can remember, it had been a long time since anyone new just appeared. There was particularly not much else then 3 beautiful moons, calm waters and the creature making humming sounds which made the whole experience very serene... The others who came with me told me that this is the second coming of age ceremony which takes place, after which a person is considered as a proper adult who can take responsibilities. After a period of time we returned to the village with me having experienced a breathtaking experience. I can't estimate a size of the world but giving the fact that such a giant creature is swimming freely in the ocean and the 3 moons which made the situation similar to Earth as from my observation of the water and what I learned about geographical facts from the researchers for understanding the worlds.
Day 15,
Days have been going smoothly, today I am on guard duty and will be told to climb to the top of the World Eater. I was being accompanied by one of the village chief's daughters, her name being Mera and she was particularly strong for the standards I know off. Most fearless girl I have seen yet. I do not know if the village chief was trying to set us up or something because that didn't work. Something interesting did happen, which was an island. We saw land, which meant land did exist. Seeing how the World Eater and the villagers are in a symbiotic relationship, I do not think that I would try to get off the World Eater. I have to return back to Earth on a month's mark, after which I do not know what the researchers might have in mind. I am already half was though and they didn't tell me what to do in case there was more things to explore. We returned after a while.
Day 21,
I was able to encounter land again. This time I also saw ships, a port and a port city, in a very medieval era's style. Giant wooden ships, medieval structures and people in medieval european clothing style. I couldn't see too much as the World Eater moved on without stopping even a bit. It seems to be moving non stop day and night. I also noticed that they didn't shoe hostility towards the World Eater, treating it like a gentle giant. I would speculate that mythical type creatures are common in this world. I talked to the guy who was with me this time, he didn't look at all surprised and also explained that the World Eater goes in a specific path around the world. It covers it's path in around a year's time before resting in a specific shot and then starting again. The villagers have been observing this gentle giant for centuries. As the day to return comes closer, I am starting to regreat getting close to this community...
Day 30,
I told them that I would try leaving the beast's stomach and go back but might come back if I couldn't. They greated me a farewell and I returned to the location. Successfully completing the mission...
