A chill swept through the room.
It was sudden, and came without warning as goosebumps appeared along Reinhard's arms.
His expression became serious instantly. Beside him, Joseph's entire posture became serious as his eyes narrowed.
"The Night Terrors are coming." Joseph said quietly.
Reinhard nodded before moving a chair near the window, the legs scraping softly against wooden floorboards.
He then sat down, leaning forward slightly. "I'm curious about how they look."
Joseph sighed, the sound carrying a mix of resignation and amusement. "You and Marie with your dangerous curiosity. I've been spending too much time around you both." Despite his words, he pulled up another chair and sat beside Reinhard.
They gazed out the window together.
