Chapter 123 - Chapter 123: Conversation at Windrise

"Ah! Someone like you is destined to be sung about in the bards' poems," Venti said to Lumine, sighing with emotion. Then, as if implying something, he added,

"Standing in the sun, one is bound to become a hero; standing in the shade, one can also lead to disaster…"

"???" Yu Jin heard Venti's praise and felt it was completely nonsensical. Although Lumine was quite extraordinary now, was she really that amazing?

Lead to disaster? If anyone led to disaster, Yu Jin would be the first to smash their head in. After thinking for a long time, Yu Jin could only attribute it to the protagonist's charm. Meeting for the first time, she had already won Venti's praise.

Speaking of which, Lumine seemed to have also received some honorary knight title, but he, Yu Jin, had cleared all the monsters in Mondstadt and still hadn't gotten that title!

However, this was also related to Lumine helping out of goodwill, while Yu Jin was doing it for Mora.

"Seeing the tear Crystalize in such a state reminds me of an old friend. I must excuse myself."

"Hey! Where are you going?"

"To the 'Symbol of Mondstadt's Hero'! See you!"

Yu Jin watched as Venti seemed to have thought of a plan, then left Windrise in a hurry, leaving a bewildered Lumine and Paimon behind.

Lumine turned around and looked at Yu Jin with a puzzled expression. She felt that Venti was a very strange person, and she already had her own suspicions.

Yu Jin met Lumine's gaze and said with a smile, "Since you have an idea, why not go after him and ask? Besides, he didn't forbid you from finding him."

"Symbol of Mondstadt's Hero…" Yu Jin pondered for a moment, then pointed in a direction and said, "If I remember correctly, it should be that big oak tree outside the city."

"Understood, thank you, Senior." Lumine looked at the giant oak tree, whose crown was faintly visible in the distance, and nodded.

"Good that you understand. I'm leaving too, bye-bye." Yu Jin saw Lumine looking thoughtful, waved his hand, and also left Windrise.

"Hey! He just said you had an idea in your heart, what was it?" Paimon watched Yu Jin gradually disappear and began to circle around Lumine.

"Nothing, let's go, Paimon! Let's go see that big oak tree together!" Lumine stretched, then walked out of Mondstadt City… "Why did you come here too?" Venti arrived at the big tree at Windrise, only to find that Yu Jin had arrived before him!

"Why can't I come? I feel Dvalin is a bit pitiful, so I came here to think of a solution too." Yu Jin crossed his arms and looked at Venti without any fear.

Venti couldn't hold back a little when he heard that. He helplessly pushed Yu Jin and said, "My dear brother, don't cause trouble. You're probably not trying to drug Dvalin unconscious and then extract his poisoned blood, are you?"

"That's a good idea, I'll write it down." Yu Jin stroked his chin. As expected of a poet, his mind works fast!

When he had no ideas, the other person had already thought of a solution!

"No, pretend I said nothing." Venti saw that Yu Jin seemed to be seriously considering how to ambush Dvalin, and immediately began to dissuade him.

"Dvalin is very strong now, but also very weak. He has burned himself out and cannot withstand any more blows from you," Venti said, walking under the tree, his tone a little low.

Yu Jin heard him, patted Venti's shoulder, and shook his head, comforting him, "Tsk, since you said so. Then let's do it your way, the gentle approach, alright?"

"Hehe, why don't you listen to me, I have a great plan!" Venti chuckled a few times when he heard Yu Jin giving up on the hard approach.

"Alright, I don't have much else to do anyway!" Yu Jin sat on the ground and nodded. He also felt some sympathy for that big guy, Dvalin.

He had suffered from the black blood for hundreds of years to protect Mondstadt, only to wake up and find no one remembered him. Not only that, he also had to endure the corruption of the Abyss Mages.

How tragic!

"How's your body?" Yu Jin glanced at Venti, who was humming an unknown tune beside him, and asked.

He had noticed something abnormal earlier; there seemed to be a foreign aura within Venti's body.

"You mean those Abyss toxins? It's nothing serious anymore. That little guy has the power to purify the Abyss, isn't it amazing?"

Venti touched his chest; the previous feeling of blockage was gone. In its place was the freshness brought by the smooth flow of wind.

"It is amazing. The one who gathers storms. Following her, there will be no shortage of fun." Yu Jin looked into the distance, where two figures were approaching.

Venti heard Yu Jin's words and looked at him in surprise, "You can do astrology too?"

"Guess?" Yu Jin didn't answer, directly giving Venti a riddle.

This made Venti quite exasperated. Before, he was the one who gave riddles to others, but now it was his turn.

However, he didn't say anything more to Yu Jin, because Lumine and Paimon had arrived.

"Hehe, I knew you guys would come."

"Lumine, and Paimon, you two are doing well!"

Lumine looked at Yu Jin in front of her with some surprise. Venti being here wasn't strange, but why was Yu Jin here too?

"Eh? Why are you here too?" Paimon directly asked the question in Lumine's heart.

Yu Jin patted his butt, stood up, and said, "I'm here to help Venti with his plan. What about you two?"

"I want to know more about the Anemo Archon," Lumine asked, staring intently at Venti.

But Venti seemed not to have heard. He pondered for a while, then said with a slight surprise, "Barbatos, the Anemo Archon? That guy disappeared a long time ago."

"The Geo Archon of Liyue and the Electro Archon of Inazuma are still around, but the Mondstadters haven't seen their Archon for a long time…"

Venti was talking to Lumine about the Anemo Archon, then suddenly paused. He looked at Lumine and said, "It's been a long time since I returned here. It seems some things are very unhappy about my arrival."

"I'll leave it to you!" Venti smiled at the sword-wielding Lumine, then vanished.

The flowing wind suddenly became restless, and a monster Yu Jin had never seen before appeared at Windrise.

It looked like a floating green gem lantern. Beyond its spherical body of emerald glow was a dark green shell formed by the dense precipitation of Anemo element.

An Anemo Hypostasis, an extremely rare monster, only occasionally found where Ley Lines were blocked.

Lumine felt the incredibly restless Anemo elemental energy around her, a bitter taste in her mouth. Why was it that her strength hadn't recovered much, yet she kept encountering powerful foes?

The pressure the Anemo Hypostasis in front of her exerted on Lumine was considerable. Lumine estimated that even if she could defeat it, she would be completely exhausted.

But her unease quickly dissipated.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!" Yu Jin ran in front of her and continuously threw punches.

The immense force of his punches compressed the air layer by layer, and with each punch Yu Jin threw, visible air cannons swept across the area.

The Anemo element was still restless, but this time, the "wind" itself was even crazier than the Anemo element!

Even when his punches were thrown skyward, their immense wind force still kicked up a lot of dust, making the surroundings dim.

At Windrise, the wind began to rise.

The thick, solid shell of the Anemo Hypostasis couldn't withstand Yu Jin's punches for a moment before turning into dissipated elements and vanishing into the world.

Looking at the Anemo Hypostasis gradually turning into pure elements, Yu Jin nodded in satisfaction; he had learned something new again.

Then he ran to Venti, who hadn't run far but had frozen in place.

"Hey, keep going! I'm still very interested in these Archon matters!" Yu Jin patted the stunned Venti, making the latter shiver.

"Wow! Senior, what was that move just now? Aren't elemental beings unable to attack with the same elemental power?!" Lumine snapped out of it, ran to Yu Jin, and asked curiously.

Yu Jin laughed heartily, then said, "I didn't use elemental power."

"Then how…?" Lumine was even more confused. How could such a strong wind be generated without elemental power?

"Look!" Yu Jin said, throwing a punch towards Lumine, then stopping it at her forehead. Lumine's hair was also swayed a few times by the slight breeze from his fist.

"Just increase the power and speed of this process by a thousand, ten thousand times, and it'll work," Yu Jin turned his fist into a palm and flicked Lumine's forehead.

"It's that simple!"

As Yu Jin's words fell, there were suddenly three dumbfounded people at Windrise.
