Chapter 127 - Chapter 127: Daily Life Before Departure

"Phew! Finally finished!"

Bright sunlight streamed onto the desk. Yu Jin stretched. After a day and a night of effort, he had finally finished writing letters to everyone.

Leaning back in his chair, Yu Jin rubbed his head. He felt a bit dizzy; this feeling was much more uncomfortable than fighting a battle.

However, he looked down at the thick stack of letters on the table. Heh heh, the sense of accomplishment from this night was also more satisfying than fighting a battle.

"Hmm—" Yu Jin stretched his muscles and bones, which felt nothing, then stood up from the chair.

He picked up the envelopes on the table, and the Black Blade appeared beside him at the right moment.

"When you go back, take these letters with you," Yu Jin handed the letters to the Black Blade, then said with emotion, "There's really nothing much to say, but I was afraid you'd worry, so I just rambled a bit."

After speaking, Yu Jin even shook his head. The feeling of being cared for was not bad.

"Understood. We will deliver the King's decree." The Black Blade took the letters and was about to disappear again.

But Yu Jin stopped him this time, saying helplessly, "Don't be so dedicated. We're leaving soon. How about taking a break?"

"King, we don't need rest." The Black Blade shook his head, as expected. A holiday? Such a thing had never happened to the Black Blade.

Just proving their value was enough to make them fight with all their might, so how could there be any time left for themselves?

"Tsk." Yu Jin clicked his tongue, then stroked his chin and said, "If that's the case, how about we put it another way?"

"You have left enough traces in this world, but this world doesn't seem to have left anything on you."

"So, go shopping! This world doesn't like outsiders. Since it doesn't give you gifts, we'll buy them ourselves."

"The interaction between two worlds should always leave something behind for each other."

"How about it?" Yu Jin looked up at the Black Blade. Then he saw a smile bloom on the beautiful face beneath the veil.

"Since the King has said so, then we shall respectfully obey."

..."Wow! Beautiful!" Yu Jin's small courtyard was now exceptionally crowded.

Eleven Black Blades had shed their eternally unchanging scale armor and put on long dresses much larger than ordinary clothes.

The rare people's physique was much larger than that of ordinary humans, and perhaps because they had lived deep underground for many years, their skin was also much fairer.

The Black Blades in long dresses had shed their previous dark and dangerous aura. They clutched their long dresses somewhat awkwardly, looking a bit like older sisters next door.

Changing clothes was also Yu Jin's request. Today, the Black Blades didn't need to hide or fight. So, there was no need to wear that uncomfortable scale armor.

If they went out to play still wearing armor, they wouldn't enjoy themselves comfortably.

However, it was clear that the Black Blades didn't think that way.

"King, these clothes are too cumbersome. Please let me change back." San was undoubtedly the most uncomfortable.

He walked awkwardly to Yu Jin, lifted his skirt, and bowed to request.

"But they're beautiful! You look like women in these clothes." Yu Jin looked at the Black Blades in their long dresses and nodded in satisfaction.

With the long dresses, the Black Blades appeared more vibrant. They finally had the beauty and softness of women.

The Black Blades were amused and exasperated when they heard Yu Jin's words. Who praises a girl like that? Probably only Yu Jin would say such a unique compliment.

"Let's go, let's go! Out the door!" Seeing that the Black Blades no longer refused, Yu Jin pushed open the courtyard door and led the Black Blades out onto the street.

Since Dvalin was repelled some time ago, the Dragon Scourge plaguing Mondstadt had finally subsided for a while.

So, the streets of Mondstadt became prosperous again. Although it couldn't compare to before, there were still many novel things.

"Look! This illustration collection is good, isn't it? Who wants it?"

"This, this, and this cookbook is also good. You can try it when you go back."

"And this! I think this dress is nice. Take it; you can find a tailor to enlarge it when you go back."

...On the commercial street, Yu Jin, as if no one else was around, led the Black Blades through one shop after another, picking up all sorts of strange items to show them.

Unfortunately, most of the time, Yu Jin picked them up, and the Black Blade simply took them.

Such a strange combination naturally attracted a lot of attention. Not to mention the Black Blades' physiques, just eleven women gathered together on a normal street would be enough to draw attention.

Not to mention that all the Black Blades could be called beauties. Their tall, slender figures coupled with those beautifully woven silk dresses were eye-catching no matter how you looked at them.

Yu Jin handed a piece of clothing with Mondstadt-specific patterns to the Black Blade. The latter skillfully folded it and placed it in a pre-prepared paper bag.

This scene made it seem as if Yu Jin was shopping, and the Black Blade was merely serving him.

In fact, it was pretty much the same. Yu Jin led them into the shops, and Yu Jin handed them the items to buy.

From beginning to end, after leaving the courtyard, the Black Blades had followed behind Yu Jin, not saying a single word to anyone else.

Seeing this, Yu Jin helplessly covered his forehead and said, "Forget it, I won't accompany you anymore. Buy whatever you like yourselves. I'll wait for you at a table outside the Good Hunter Restaurant."

With that, Yu Jin directly threw a few bags of Mora to the Black Blades and ran out of the shop like a flash.

Mondstadt's commercial street was right next to Mondstadt Square; the two were very close. One might even say that Mondstadt Square was, to some extent, part of the commercial street.

After all, there were quite a few shops in Mondstadt Square.

Finding an empty seat, Yu Jin looked around. Good, no one had come looking for him. If the Black Blades still thought of following him, then this shopping trip plan would have completely failed.

Fortunately, the Black Blades had their own ideas and didn't follow. He believed that in this city, they should be able to find things they liked.

Yu Jin sighed, then ordered a few things—because he felt it wasn't good to just sit there.

Chewing on tasteless food and watching the passersby, Yu Jin felt very content. He wished there were more such moments.

Then a large witch's hat appeared before his eyes—Lisa sat down opposite Yu Jin.

"Hmm? Lisa, why are you here? Has the Dragon Scourge been resolved?" Yu Jin was very surprised to see Lisa sitting opposite him.

As the Knights of Favonius's librarian and a powerful sorceress, Lisa should be very busy during the Dragon Scourge. How could she have the leisure to wander around?

"Heh heh, overwork can wrinkle a lady's skin." Lisa stretched, her beautiful curves outlined.

Unfortunately, Yu Jin couldn't see it at all. What a joke, the Black Blades were "bigger" than Lisa in every aspect, and there were eleven of them.

Even then, Yu Jin's heart hadn't rippled in the slightest. Compared to them, Lisa was just a small scene.

Lisa saw Yu Jin's unchanging expression and felt like she was performing for a blind man.

[Lumine is more fun.]Lisa sighed. Then, as if remembering something, a crescent moon curved on her lips, and she said mischievously,

"You little rascal, you're quite something. I just saw a group of beautiful women following you. I didn't realize you were so good at charming girls."

"Haha, not bad, my good friend." Yu Jin waved his hand and laughed. That group of people was indeed unique enough, so it wasn't surprising that Lisa knew.

"Friends?" Lisa savored the word for a moment, but quickly reacted, "Didn't you say your friends weren't coming?"

"Uh..., would you believe me if I said they were shy and didn't want to see people?" Yu Jin scratched his head. Had he been exposed?

But he didn't care too much. Anyway, the Black Blades were leaving soon, and it was good to let them relax before they went.

"Of course, I believe you." Lisa stroked her flaxen hair and chuckled lightly. Then she took out a flowerpot and placed it on the table.

"But as compensation for deceiving a lady, you have to answer my question."

On the flowerpot, a withered Golden Tree glowed faintly with golden light.
