Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: The Improper Lanssangx

Farum Azula, The Lands Between's Sky City. Rather than a city, it was more like a continent suspended in the Sky above The Lands Between.

Residing here were the Ancient Dragons, as well as the beasts and humans who worshipped them. As the race with the strongest average combat power in The Lands Between, the Ancient Dragon race was also quite rare in number.

They indeed needed beasts and humans to help manage such a large territory.

On an open space at the border of Farum Azula, a four-winged Ancient Dragon, tens of meters in size, was lying on the ground.

Although the ground was covered in broken stones and the strong winds howled from high above, none of this affected the pure white Ancient Dragon in the slightest.

The Ancient Dragons' scales were almost indestructible, and their lives were nearly eternity. The scraping of broken stones and the tearing of the strong winds brought no sensation to Lanssangx.

"Vyke loves me, Vyke doesn't love me, Vyke loves me, Vyke doesn't love me…"

In Lanssangx's massive dragon claw, she was holding a Golden Wheel Grass, while her other dragon claw continuously plucked its petals.

The Golden Wheel Grass grew very similarly to a sunflower; although it didn't produce seeds, it had numerous petals.

The sacredness contained within its petals was also an essential ingredient for many potions and enchanted oils.

Lanssangx held the Golden Wheel Grass, but the Golden Wheel Grass, only the size of a human palm, looked like a golden speck of light in front of her. Her massive dragon eyes stared at the tiny Golden Wheel Grass, looking strange no matter how she viewed it.

"Boom!" A more violent gust of wind struck, and then an Ancient Dragon of similar size to Lanssangx flew to her side.

Franssangx—the Ancient Dragon known as the strongest rock, and also Lanssangx's younger brother.

Franssangx's status among the Ancient Dragons was almost like that of a patriarch; most of the dealings with other races were handled by him.

As the High Priestess of the Ancient Dragon faith, Lanssangx was responsible for teaching and answering Prayers related to the Dragon faith.

"You blew my Golden Wheel Grass away!" Lanssangx saw her Golden Wheel Grass being blown away by Franssangx, immediately got up, and gave her younger brother a big slap.

"Does Golden Wheel Grass grow here?" Franssangx shook his head from the blow, yet he felt no pain. Ancient Dragon scales were quite sturdy.

"Are you stupid? If it doesn't grow, can't I buy it?" Lanssangx lay back down on the ground; her destined marriage was just blown away like that.

"Oh." Franssangx thought for a moment, and it seemed to be true. How did these shops open so quickly? Even Farum Azula had them now?

"Ah~" Lanssangx yawned, then said, "What do you want? Is it that those little ones don't understand a Prayer and want to ask me?"

"Ask you? It'd be better to check the library themselves." Franssangx retorted. Every time a worshipper came to ask Lanssangx a question, Lanssangx would stammer.

Then came unhelpful answers like, "I already know," or "You just do this, then this, and it'll be fine."

Sometimes, if she was pressed too hard, they might even get hit.

"So you're here to undermine your older sister, aren't you?" Lanssangx's dragon eyes narrowed slightly, revealing a dangerous glint.

"No, no, I just came to see you, older sister." Franssangx immediately took a few steps back; his older sister hit very hard.

"What could be wrong with me? Just reminiscing about my first love." Lanssangx looked up into the distance, in the direction of Leyndell.

Vyke, the former would-be Elden Lord. Back then, she, Vyke, and Vyke's witch, the three of them, strived for the Elden Lord's throne.

The world was still dilapidated then, and the Golden Tree rejected everyone from entering.

To enter the Golden Tree and become the true Elden Lord, one had to sacrifice their witch and ignite the Frenzied Flame to burn away the Golden Tree's thorns.

For his witch, Vyke chose to be bestowed with the Frenzied Flame. He hoped to use himself as kindling to preserve his witch.

Many things happened after that, which Lanssangx didn't want to recall. Roughly, it was the mad Vyke stubbornly protecting a corpse.

And she herself wandered aimlessly near the Royal Capital.

Later, Yu Jin came, who is the current King. And then, it was witnessing a miracle.

Lanssangx shook her head. It was all in the past; why was she still reminiscing incessantly? She adjusted her mindset and leaned towards Franssangx, saying teasingly:

"How are things going with you and Godwyn? When are you inviting your older sister to your wedding feast?"

Franssangx's dragon face immediately fell. "Older sister, I've told you how many times, Godwyn and I are truly just close friends."

"Close friends? Closer than your older sister?" Lanssangx scoffed. What Franssangx did for Godwyn went beyond the scope of simple friendship.

After Godwyn was assassinated on the Night of the Black Knives, the Destined Death killed his soul, but not his body.

The Golden Tree had never encountered such a situation and merely continued to bestow grace upon Godwyn's body. Eventually, Godwyn's body became a monster, neither human nor ghost.

But even so, Franssangx still resolutely entered Godwyn's body to fight against death.

It was not a battle that could be won; by the time she realized it, the "strongest rock" had already become the "Death Dragon."

"Why bring up the past? Am I not fine now?" Franssangx was a bit embarrassed.

Now that he thought about it, he was indeed a bit thoughtless at the time. With his departure, his older sister truly became a lone individual.

Her lover went mad, her best friend died, and her brother also became a monster. Farum Azula was collapsing, her kin scattered and fled, and her worshippers lost their minds. It was hard to imagine what Lanssangx was truly thinking at that time.

"Alright, what did you want to see your older sister for?" Lanssangx also didn't want to recall those past events, so she asked.

"The Black Knives are back."

"I know."

"You don't care about the King's news?"

"There are too many people who care; what am I?"

...Franssangx only now realized that his older sister's words were deadly sarcastic.

"The next person chosen to go to another world has been decided, it's you, and it's the King's own decree." Franssangx spoke concisely, giving Lanssangx no chance to speak.

"Hmm? You didn't mishear, he called me?" Lanssangx was a bit confused; her relationship with Yu Jin could only be described as her being very grateful to Yu Jin, and it was one-sided.

To Yu Jin, she was probably just one of the many beings he had saved, nothing more.

"I heard that there are also dragons in that world, but they are a bit pitiful, all alone. The King wants you to go and guide him." Franssangx recalled what the Black Knives said, and it seemed to be exactly that.

"Heh, I understand this, it's a honey trap, right?" Lanssangx confidently raised her dragon head. Whether in her dragon form or human form, she was utterly beautiful and enchanting.

That Vyke guy was simply blind!

"Where did you get that idea?" Franssangx couldn't understand. Is this how a female dragon's mind works? It made him a bit unable to keep up.

"Are you thinking something rude?" Lanssangx sensed something and turned to look at Franssangx.

"No." Franssangx shook his head; a dragon's body was impeccable for lying, its expression never changed.

"So, are you going?" Franssangx asked. A honey trap seemed like a despicable scheme; would his older sister agree?

"Yes!" Lanssangx's dragon body transformed into specks of white light, then the white light converged, and a woman emerged from the white light.

The woman had white hair and golden eyes, wore a golden crown on her head, had two horns, and was dressed in a pure white ceremonial light veil. She looked sacred and pure.

Lanssangx touched her flawless cheek, nodding in satisfaction. Time had left no trace on her.

"Come down, let's use the portal, I don't want to fly."

"Oh."
