Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 : One Last Ride Begins

Los Angeles – After Han's Funeral

The cemetery was still fresh in their minds, Han's coffin barely settled in the ground. Dom didn't linger with the others. He got in his Charger and drove. Alone.

But he wasn't alone for long.

Across the city, Deckard Shaw stalked him like a shadow. Engines screamed as Dom caught sight of the black Jaguar tailing him. He slammed the throttle, tearing through the streets, forcing Shaw into the open.

The chase cut through tunnels, concrete echoing with growls of horsepower. Sparks lit the dark as metal scraped against walls. Finally, Dom braked hard, spinning into an underground passage. Shaw followed, headlights cutting through dust.

The two men stepped out, no words, only fists.

The fight was brutal, two lions colliding in a cage. Dom's raw strength met Shaw's surgical strikes, every punch sending shockwaves off concrete. Dom slammed Shaw against a pillar, Shaw countered with a pipe wrench across Dom's ribs. Concrete cracked under their feet.

Dom growled, "You don't know when to quit."

Shaw smirked through blood. "That's what makes us the same."

Before either could finish the fight, the world above shook. Military trucks rolled in, floodlights bathing the tunnel. Soldiers fast-roped down, weapons drawn. Dom and Shaw both turned, but this wasn't police. This was something else.

A calm, commanding voice echoed through the chaos.

"Gentlemen. If you're finished measuring egos…"

A man in tactical shades stepped forward, flanked by elite operatives in advanced gear. Mr. Nobody.

Shaw didn't hesitate. He detonated a flash charge, vanishing into the smoke like a ghost. Dom shielded his eyes, then lowered his fists, glaring as the ops team surrounded him.

"Dominic Toretto," Mr. Nobody said with a grin, "I've been looking forward to this."

Covert Base – Unknown Location

Dom sat across from Mr. Nobody, the walls lined with glowing tactical maps and high-tech weapon racks. Nobody poured two glasses of Belgian ale, sliding one across.

"You want Shaw, I want Shaw," Nobody said casually. "But chasing a ghost requires eyes. There's a little program called God's Eye — it can find anyone, anywhere, with just a glance at a camera feed. A digital panopticon."

Dom leaned forward. "Where is it?"

Nobody smirked. "That's the catch. It's in the hands of a hacker named Ramsey. Problem is, she's currently in the custody of a mercenary named Jakande. You want Shaw, I want my toy so we're going to help each other."

Dom didn't answer immediately, the weight of family heavy on his shoulders. But he knew there was no other path.

Nobody leaned back, satisfied. "Buckle up, Toretto. The hunt for Ramsey begins."
