Job's Pov:
The
door burst open, "Get down" I shouted as I pushed myself on him…..darn
reflexes. I followed Hassan to what looked like his bathroom, "Hassan….." I
was going to ask about the blood stain in his bathtub when the first shut hit
me, I should've listened to mama when she told me to take some self defense
class "Mama, I'm gonna be a lawyer not join the force" memories of
that evening flood my mind,
Multiple shots hit me before I could even
make the face of the shooter "I should've taken the darn class" I thought
to myself as I fell to the ground, My client was still frozen not like I
expected anything else, I laughed as memories continued
"we can do this the easy way or the hard way" the killer pointed
the gun at Hassan ignoring the laughing sound coming from the lawyer, seeing
that Hassan made no attempt to move, he hit him hard on the hard and lift his
unconscious body on his shoulder.
Job
pulled out his phone with his blood stained hand and dialed 911 "I've been
shot" was the only thing he could bring himself to say and he pressed onto
his stomach trying to stop the bleeding, he had to survive this, no matter how
long it'd take help to come, he was going to hold on it. God, why am I even
here?

I doubt if Job would still believe in God,
what sort of God drag his own out just to be shot multiple times, I am
so sure he was masking the pain with the laughs, there's no way he'd be okay
dying. Hassan groaned, his head pounding, he winced before turning his neck to
take note of his surrounding, no sign of the killer, he was not all alone in a
dark room, he wasn't even tied up "Hello!" he shouted even though he was sure
no one would hear him, he walked to the door and after multiple attempt to
break it open, he sighed and gave up.

"Where's my son?" mama questioned even before
she could catch her breath, "Oh Mr. Job's Mama?" the nurse at the stand
questioned "Yes, how is he?" sue asked again but this time she was calm
