Chapter 22 - The Destination

Seeing outside the window I saw trees maybe older than my grandfather. It was a jungle, to be exact it was a "Rainforest".

I stood up from my seat and started to walk towards the exit.

And all things clicked into my mind.

The government hadn't revealed the destination. Because if anyone knew that the destination is a rainforest protest will start.

All the students were gathered in crowd like sheeps; they were terrified and scared.

I also got in the crowd with other students.

I also noticed there were some drones and high-tech gadgets. I understood it was planned way before.

There were also some government officials.

Then..

An announcement was made.

"Students, the goverment decided this rainforestwill be your home for the next 30 days."All the students" bags and personal belongings will be taken away. All the students will be given one tablet and a wristband. This tablet will help you to see the map of this rainforest and the wristband is your health monitor. Every day at 7:00 am, a drone will drop some survival supplies to help the students. But for the first 2 days the location of the supplies won't be shown in the map. As for today, every student will be given two litres of water and some food. The students are not allowed to form a group or team. Every day a random task will be assigned to each student. By completing these tasks students will be able to earn "Echo Points". 1 Echo point is equivalent to 10 yen. Echo points can be used to buy supplies such as: tents. But there is a twist, the bottom 50 students who didn't earn enough points will be "eliminated"--- or in easy language they will "Die"

The announcer looked like he was holding his laugh.

All the students freaked out after hearing the announcement.

Some were cursing, but there was nothing to do. It was compulsory to join.

They would've killed the government officials if they got the chance.

All the students got in lines to take their supplies.

After a few minutes, I took my supplies. Then the wristband was attached to my left hand. I also got a backpack to put all the supplies in.

My heart was telling me not to go. But I don't have any other choice. The students who didn't want to go will be killed.

I looked at the rainforest. Before putting my tablet into the backpack. I whispered

"So this is going to be my house for 30 days."

I stood up and took my bag.

Then finally, I started to walk towards the deep forest.

I don't know what is waiting for me.
