"It's so big." "Catwoman" Selina lay on the porthole and looked out, her butt, wrapped in leather, sticking high in the air. Krypton's mothership had looked small from a distance. It wasn't until they got close that she realized that this thing was at least the size of three or four Wayne Towers.
Connors looked away from Selina's rounded hips and nodded in approval. "It's really big."
"How can we steal such a big spaceship?" Selina asked with doubt. "There should still be Kryptonians inside, right?"
"That's why you and I need to act together," Connors said, defending his choice. Otherwise, he could have completed the plan alone. "When you get to that pile driver, I'll teach you how to control it and make it go in the direction of the sun. The Kryptonians are for me to handle."
The mothership that General Zod had driven to Earth was called the World Engine in the movie, but because the way it transformed the Earth looked like a pile driver, Connors generally called it that.
"Catwoman" Selina didn't understand. "Pile driver?"
Connors nodded and steered the landing ship into the mothership. "This ship is called a pile driver. You can call me that later."
Without going through too much of a cumbersome process, the moment Connors stepped off the landing ship and the soles of his feet touched the mothership, his "Driving Master" ability allowed him to master the technology to control the large spacecraft. And his "Human Limit" physique, also rewarded by the Melon-eating System, could support him to relay the driving skills to "Catwoman" Selina in the most efficient language. It was a pity Selina didn't understand all the technical jargon, otherwise the explanation would have been cut in half.
Walking on this "World Engine" spacecraft, Connors thought with some regret.
Since it was not a requirement that "Catwoman" Selina should have 100% mastery of piloting—at most, she would be the one to control the ship to fly to the sun—after talking to her about the relevant parameter settings, the buttons that needed to be used, and the order of operations, Selina took little effort to write it all down.
Also, Connors used his "Grass Decoy" ability to find the way ahead while teaching "Catwoman" Selina to drive the pile driver. It's not that he was worried about meeting a Kryptonian; he had spider-senses, so he could completely avoid them. The pathfinding was to find the way to the cab of this piledriver.
Soon, with the decoys exploring the way and his spider-senses guiding, the two had fumbled their way to the outside of the cab. The door was closed, but it could not stop Connors, who had the "Lockpicking Master" ability. He was just one step away from getting the pile driver.
"Let's hide first," Connors said to Selina. The two had been wearing oxygen masks since they entered the landing ship, the same thing that General Zod had used for Superman in the movie. Connors was worried about breaking this thing that didn't look very strong. In addition to the face shields worn by the two of them, Connors had three or four more in his hand, which were the tools to be used against the Kryptonians on the ship.
"Catwoman" Selina naturally obeyed his words. Her goal was to get the ship, not to come here and find trouble and fight.
Manipulated by Connors, a decoy waited in advance at a corner not far from the cab gate, which he then opened. Inside, as he had guessed, there were four or five Kryptonians, chirping and talking in the Kryptonian language. At this point, the cab door suddenly opened. The Kryptonians assumed that General Zod was returning, but it was not him outside the door. Instead, a strange figure appeared at a distant corner.
Several Kryptonians looked at each other, leaving two in the cab, while the rest went out one after the other, intending to see what was happening. When the Kryptonians appeared, it was time for the decoy to act, stumbling further away.
Seeing these Kryptonians coming out of the cab chasing after the decoy, Connors and Selina looked at each other, then ran out of hiding and into the cab. "Catwoman" Selina remembered the driving skills taught by Connors clearly in her heart. As soon as she came in, she immediately ran to the console and started to get busy.
The two remaining Kryptonians were stunned for a moment, then immediately went berserk and moved to take down Selina. Yet one step quicker than them was Connors, who used "a little trick" to put the masks he held in his hand—adapted for Earthlings' air-breathing—on the two Kryptonians before they were about to attack.
"%¥!" General Zod had specifically learned the language of Earth, but the Kryptonians on the mothership naturally did not have this need. But Connors didn't understand and didn't need to. The Earth's air from the components replaced the Kryptonian air in their helmets, causing the two Kryptonians to immediately kneel on the ground with painful expressions, almost completely incapable of resisting.
Taking advantage of their inability to resist, Connors glanced around and later dragged them into chairs in the cab. There were harness-like devices for security, but in the hands of Connors, who owned "the Lockpicking Master," they became tools that firmly bound them. Having done all this, Connors walked to the other side of the cab console.
His "Driving Master" ability let him know that the spacecraft had the ability to regulate air composition, and now was the time to make a difference. Under his control, the composition of the air inside this "World Engine" rapidly transitioned from Kryptonian air to Earth air. The few Kryptonians who had chased out and caught the decoy had not even had time to breathe a sigh of relief before they fell to the ground one after the other.
"Krypton's spacecraft is highly technologically advanced." On the piledriver spacecraft, Connors stood by the porthole and watched the spacecraft move forward according to the established route under the control of "Catwoman" Selina. He expected it would be thrown into the sun soon, and he lamented.
"Mm," Selina replied. She held the portholes with both hands, and her soft body outlined a graceful arc. At this point, the cab door was closed, and the thrill of the unfamiliar environment made Selina seem more excited. She had turned into an automated catwoman.
After the two Kryptonians in the cockpit had been dealt with, they were untied by Connors and thrown outside.
"Crap!" It was supposed to be a moment of enjoyment, but Connors remembered one more thing. Hurriedly, while exercising, he controlled the communication system on board the ship.
The next moment, just as General Zod had given his speech yesterday, snowflakes once again appeared on all the screens of televisions, computers, and mobile phones around the world. Only this time, it wasn't General Zod but Connors who delivered the speech, which contained just one sentence:
"Superman, Zod, don't fight yet. Wait for me."
He didn't want to miss today's big melon for no apparent reason.
