On board the Kryptonian spacecraft, which had begun its hierarchical acceleration, Connors looked at the flight speed displayed on the screen in the cab and couldn't help but sigh. "This is more than just a thousand miles in a day. It's a thousand miles in a minute."

"Catwoman" Selina didn't care whether it was thousands of miles a day or thousands of miles a minute; she was completely intoxicated by the experience. It didn't even require Connors to take the initiative; Selina was already pushing the envelope.

On Earth, after Connors left in his spaceship, "Superman" Clark, General Zod, Adjutant Faora, and NCO Nam-Ek were all left standing still. But General Zod mistakenly believed that Connors's Grass Decoy was really a compatriot with the Kryptonian Codex, and Superman was overjoyed that Connors had not truly died.

So after a brief period of both sides gritting their teeth and looking at each other, the two sides once again fought. General Zod at this time had not yet adapted to the Earth's environment and was at one point pinned down by "Superman" Clark. They fought all the way from Kansas to Metropolis. However, the heavy armor on Zod helped him block a lot of damage, and he was also a character whose fighting identity was defined by Krypton. In addition, Clark only wanted to subdue his opponent and not kill him. Back and forth, the battle between the two men, though quite destructive, was not easy to decide in a short time.

The female adjutant Faora and the non-commissioned officer Nam-Ek faced off against the fighter planes in the air and the tanks on the ground. They were crushed one-sidedly; the human armed equipment was of little use. But even so, several other Kryptonians who had disembarked from the landing ship, which Connors had looted, suffered some degree of damage for professional, non-combat-related reasons.

General Zod was in extreme pain, suffering from the change in the Earth's environment and the angry fists of "Superman" Clark. At this point, he had no power to fight back. Adjutant General Faora and NCO Nam-Ek, after dealing with the fighter planes and tanks, as well as many military soldiers, also rushed to support him.

At this moment, the street-side billboard, which had not yet been vandalized, an unknown mobile phone on the ground that someone had dropped, and a rustling noise heard everywhere made them stop where they were.

"Superman, Zod, don't fight yet. Wait for me."

"If it really doesn't work out, go get some sleep first."

Connors's voice came from the middle of space, making "Superman" Clark, who thought he was dead, somewhat unable to turn his head. But Connors had only said that the battle with General Zod was to be fought late and did not mention the other Kryptonians. Besides, by this time, Adjutant Faora and NCO Nam-Ek had already come side by side towards "Superman" Clark and could not tolerate Clark thinking too much. So he left General Zod, who had fallen weakly aside, and greeted his other compatriots.

Detached from the Kryptonian World Engine in the landing ship, Connors manually turned his ship's flight speed to its maximum. The World Engine, which had already been set on its trajectory by "Catwoman" Selina, would reach the Sun in about half an hour. Krypton's spacecraft had a "phantom drive," capable of flying in a teleportation-like manner, but Connors didn't dare to turn up the power. After all, on a cosmic level, the Earth was very close to the Sun.

A final glance at the pile driver led Connors to withdraw his gaze and begin flying the landing ship around the Earth in a counter-sun fashion. The first part of the plan to fly into space was fully completed, and now Connors had to start working on exploiting the system bug: redefining the concept of "one day."

There are twenty-four hours in a day, but the Melon-eating System would only record the melons of the day, and there had never been a countdown or anything like that. Although there was an element of "coincidence," Connors decided to take a bet and see if, by flying against the sun and orbiting the Earth, artificially shortening his subjective "day" time, the Melon-eating System would also be refreshed.

So on this landing ship, whose flight speed was adjusted to the maximum, Connors looked towards the system with some anticipation as the spacecraft flew around the Earth, artificially "welcoming the sunrise and sending away the sunset."

"Krypton's spaceship technology is so high…" Connors once again let out this emotion. Except that the seats weren't very comfortable and couldn't be flattened backwards, and that there were no beds, no pantry, no toilet, no private theater, and no bar. Apart from not having all the facilities to enjoy, the performance of the craft was not bad, at least it flew fast and steadily.

After flying around the Earth, only three hours had passed. On the way, in order to exploit the system bug to the maximum extent, Connors had even used hypnosis to force himself to believe that a day was "less than five hours." Of course, he didn't forget to let Catwoman remind him to reverse the hypnosis afterwards.

After the spacecraft flew around the Earth, the Melon-eating System responded as expected.

[Today's Big Melon: The Kryptonian Remnants]

[Melon-eating reward: Healing Magic]

[Healing Magic: Achieve the purpose of treatment by absorbing the other person's pain into yourself. You will bear the same pain, but you can recover on your own in a short time]

The bug exploit succeeded! Although this ability didn't sound very friendly—if he used this ability to save people, he had to endure the same pain first. Not as a last resort, I won't use this ability easily, Connors secretly swore.

Although it may seem a bit useless, Connors did not dislike it. After all, strictly speaking, this ability, obtained by blocking system bugs, was equivalent to getting it for free. Why would you dislike something you got for free? Even if it wasn't for nothing, Connors wouldn't feel that having one more ability was a burden. Besides, he already had an operation in his mind that could use this healing power in many creative ways.

Prompted by Selina, Connors re-hypnotized himself to believe a day was "twenty-four hours" before flying the ship, which had little fuel left, towards Metropolis. The landing ship did not have the associated communication equipment, and Connors was unable to find a location for Superman vs. Zod there. But it didn't matter. He just needed to center on Metropolis and find the place where the damage was most severe.

The place was not hard to find, and there were even some unexpected surprises when Connors got here: the battle of Superman vs. Adjutant Faora and Sergeant Nam-Ek was still continuing! By this time, Faora was out of breath, Nam-Ek's armor was more than half broken, and Superman's body was fine, except that he didn't know where he had drilled to make it so dirty.

"Are you going to join them in the battle too?" Selina said with some apprehension, looking at the neighborhood below, which was almost in ruins.

"Don't worry, I'm going to find Zatanna," Connors finished, and let the ship fly toward Gotham. Gotham's news had broadcasted the magic show in which Zatanna had been whipped up, and Selina knew about the magician, but she didn't understand why he was looking for Zatanna for such a thing.

In Gotham, Zatanna practiced all the magic she knew over and over again and even mastered a lot of magic she never knew before, such as mind-shifting, phantom-shifting, reverse-casting, etc. But now, the space magic she needed most could still only make a small opening at this time, and she simply could not get through it herself. She wanted to go to Metropolis, where at this time the battle of Superman vs. Zod, Faora, and Nam-Ek was leaving ruins everywhere. On television news, the military, while able to relay the picture around the world, was powerless to launch a rescue. Zatanna, though she believed she could not get involved in battles of this level, felt that her magic should come in handy if it was just to save people.

Just when Zatanna was impatient but helpless about this, the sound of an engine was heard from above her apartment, and then the flowers placed in her room began to grow strangely. The sound of the engine faded away and returned again, eventually staying in front of her apartment building.

"It's…" Zatanna was confused, but the shape of the spacecraft made her recognize that it was a product from Krypton. After all, relevant footage had still been playing on TV not long ago.

Just as she picked up her magic wand and rushed downstairs to meet the Kryptonians, Connors walked out of the ship with "Catwoman" Selina.

"???" Zatanna suspected that she had read it wrong and took back the magic she was about to cast.

"Zatanna, I want to learn from you how to use reverse magic," Connors said, getting straight to the point. He remembered Zatanna doing it so many times in the comics.

"I… How could you know the magic I just learned…" Zatanna stammered. Instead of fearing Connors, the moment she saw his face, she naturally had a scene in her mind where she had peeped at him twice before through space magic, and as a result, he was working hard both times.

"That's fine…" Connors breathed a sigh of relief and took the initiative. "Let's make a deal, okay?"

"I will help you find your father, and you will teach me reverse magic. How about it?"

Relieved, Zatanna exorcised the restricted pictures from her head. The moment she heard the word "deal," she almost thought Connors had come to her in broad daylight. Fortunately, it seemed to be a misunderstanding.

"Yes, but you have to add one more thing. You have to take me to Metropolis," Zatanna was calm, her words soft but firm. "I want to save people."
