Chapter 96 - This is the Village of Wind

The opposing group didn't seem like they were willing to give up just yet.

Judging by the stubborn looks on their faces, they were probably hatching some plan to take the adorable girl back.

"@%##&#@&#!"

Just as tensions reached a peak, a few boys wearing the same outfit as the little girl flew over from a distant valley.

As soon as they appeared, they shouted a few words sharply at the two guys who had been chasing the girl.

By their appearance, they were around the same age as Nobita and the others, and the flying devices under their feet were identical to the circular, canvas-based objects the little girl had used.

Perhaps startled by the sudden increase in numbers, the two troublemakers who had been chasing the girl decided the best course was to flee.

"&#@#¥##¥&@%##¥##&@!"

After the bad guys retreated, the group's leader—a handsome young boy—first reunited with the little girl, checking that she was safe.

Then he turned toward Doraemon and the others, smiling as he spoke in a language they couldn't understand.

"Oh! Right! This is the perfect time to use this gadget…!"

"Translation Konjac!"

"Here, everyone eat this, and you'll be able to understand what they're saying!"

Luckily, Doraemon reacted quickly and without error. He produced the perfect gadget for the moment.

Once everyone ate the Translation Konjac, communication with the newcomers became possible.

"So that's it! They were the ones who saved you just now! I really must thank them…!"

As soon as Doraemon and the others digested the Konjac, they could hear the boy speaking to the little girl.

"She's your sister? That was really dangerous just now."

Now able to speak normally, Nobita stepped closer to the boy and smiled.

"Yes, that's right. Thank you for saving my sister, Asu. And those guys from before… they were really brutish."

The boy nodded, smiling slightly as he acknowledged Nobita's words, clearly disapproving of the other group's behavior.

Two adults teaming up to bully a little girl—how could anyone do such a thing?

"I'm glad she's safe. By the way, are you residents here?"

Nobita was curious about people who lived in such a magical place. The boy and his friends hadn't shown any hostility, so Nobita took the chance to ask politely.

"Yes, that's right. We all live here."

"My name is Temujin. This is Domujin, that one is Yamujin, and over there is Kunmujin. Please take care of us!"

Temujin introduced himself first, then gave the names of the friends beside him in an open and confident manner.

"I see! My name's Nobita, and it's nice to meet all of you."

"I'm Doraemon."

"I'm Suneo."

"I'm Takeshi Okada, but you can just call me Gian!"

Once Temujin and his friends had introduced themselves, Doraemon and the others politely gave their own introductions.

Compared to the uniformity of Temujin's group, the names of Doraemon's group reflected a more diverse style.

"Hello! I guess the reason you ended up here is because the wind brought you, right?"

After listening politely to their introductions, Temujin smiled and made a guess.

"That's strange… Temujin, how did you know the wind brought us here?"

Doraemon asked, puzzled. Temujin and the others had just arrived from afar, so theoretically they couldn't have known what had happened before they came.

"That's because something similar has happened before. And the entrance of the Wind Path isn't far from here. If I'm correct, you must have come from that direction, right?"

Temujin pointed toward one side, and indeed, it was the entrance of the Dragon's Mouth where Doraemon and the others had been swept over by the wind.

"Really? That's amazing…"

"So, may I ask, what exactly is this place?"

Nobita, ever curious, asked. Ever since seeing the ballooning raccoon and the floating sheep along the way, everything about this place fascinated him.

"This is the Village of Wind."

"Since you happened to arrive here, why don't I take you around the village? You can also change into some dry clothes at my house—the wind here is strong, and you're all wet now. If you don't change, you might catch a cold."

After answering Nobita's questions, Temujin enthusiastically invited them to explore the village.

After all, Doraemon and the others had saved Temujin's sister, Asu, just moments ago. He felt they deserved gratitude.

Moreover, they were naturally a warm and hospitable people. Seeing outsiders appear was rare, so it was only natural they treated Nobita and his friends with friendliness.

Hearing the invitation, Nobita, Doraemon, Gian, and Suneo exchanged a glance.

"Alright, if that's the case, we'll trouble you then."

They were indeed curious about this place called the Village of Wind. Plus, they had no urgent matters to attend to.

Exploring this hidden, magical village under Temujin's guidance seemed like a perfect opportunity.

'Ah… if only Shizuka were here too…'

Nobita felt a pang of regret. Had he known such an interesting adventure awaited, he would have brought Shizuka along.

But it wasn't possible. From the beginning, their plan had only been to find an open space to play baseball.

And since Shizuka didn't play baseball, they hadn't considered inviting her in the first place.

If you want, I can also polish the dialogue and action further so it reads like a high-quality light novel, with smoother pacing, immersive descriptions, and fun character voices, while keeping all names and magical terms intact.

Do you want me to do that next?
