Chapter 121 - Revive, Monster of Wind

"Enough. There's no point explaining anything more to you. I'm going to destroy this filthy, wretched world… and then build a new era that belongs to me alone."

"You people can just sit here and quietly wait for your destruction! Hahahahaha…!"

"Ma Fēngkǎ, it's up to you now!"

After saying that, Storm didn't bother speaking to Doraemon and the others anymore. He immediately activated the UFO, rising into the sky until he reached a suitable height—ready to sit back and watch the show.

"Damn…!"

Watching Storm fly away in the time-machine UFO, Doraemon ground his teeth in fury.

He never expected this incident to be a temporal crime.

Not only were the opponent's tools far more advanced than his own—Even the plan itself was flawless.

In the end, even Ulanda, the chief of the Lan tribe, had been used as nothing more than a stepping stone.

Of course, this was only Doraemon's own interpretation. If he knew that Storm's original plan wasn't like this at all—And that everything was disrupted because Lin Feng appeared—He truly wouldn't know how to react.

But no matter the reason…Once something happens, for the future, that event becomes unchangeable history.

"Doraemon, what do we do now…?"

"Are we really just going to stand here and watch the world get destroyed…?"

Nobita had been right next to Doraemon, so he heard everything Storm said.

Because of that, a suffocating sense of impending apocalypse hung over him.

"How could we possibly let that happen? Nobita, don't worry. I absolutely won't allow such a thing…"

Although Doraemon said that firmly, his slightly pale expression already betrayed the truth—Even he wasn't confident.

They were facing not only a monster capable of destroying the world…But also a dangerous genius criminal from the 22nd century, Storm Dr.

"Roooaaar…!"

From the sky came a deep, rumbling roar.

A massive dragon formed entirely of storm winds slowly emerged from the eye of the cyclone swirling above.

But its first target was not the town below. It was the black time-craft floating nearby—where Storm was waiting to enjoy the spectacle.

"Hmm? What's this?"

"Ma Fēngkǎ, what are you doing?!"

"Don't get confused! Your mission is to destroy the city below!"

This kind of attack was nothing to Storm. He easily maneuvered the time-craft out of the way.

Still, he frowned and immediately issued another command to Ma Fēngkǎ.

But the monster seemed unwilling—or unable—to obey.

After missing its target, it didn't continue chasing.Instead, it circled in midair like a wild beast searching for direction.

"Is it because it didn't absorb the other two Wind Children? The evolution must be incomplete… so it can't understand my control commands…?"

Storm pinched his chin, a sudden realization dawning on him.

This wind monster Ma Fēngkǎ didn't seem to possess any real consciousness.

It was acting purely on instinct. That was why it couldn't distinguish friend from foe—why it had no allegiance.

The cause, most likely, was that the other two Ma Fēngkǎ beads hadn't fused with it.So the power it gained was incomplete—full of flaws.

But in the end, none of that affected its destructive force.

Even if he couldn't fully control it, to Storm, that wasn't much of a problem.

He just needed to keep some distance… and avoid getting hit by accident.

After adjusting the time-craft to a better height and angle, Storm's face relaxed into a victorious grin.He watched Ma Fēngkǎ's massive wind-dragon body twist in the air as it slowly turned toward the city behind the mountain—flying forward to begin its devastation.

Meanwhile, not far from there, the sea began to churn violently. Each wave rose higher and stronger than the last.

Ma Fēngkǎ was already using its powers—It had begun summoning the force of a flood.

If no one stopped it in time, Tokyo would soon be swallowed by the rising waters.

And they didn't have an ark large enough for all the city's people.

Lin Feng looked up into the sky at the giant wind dragon—rolling through the clouds, stepping across the sea of wind—and he couldn't help letting out a helpless, bitter smile.

He had practically been holding a cheat guide while raiding this dungeon…Yet things still ended up like this.

It was honestly kind of embarrassing.

But to be fair—until now, Lin Feng had indeed done everything he could.

From being suddenly approached by Ulanda who tried to steal Fūko…To rushing immediately to Ryū'e Island to fight for the Sealing Sword and the third Ma Fēngkǎ bead…

Lin Feng had barely rested for a single moment.

But plans never keep up with unexpected changes.

Storm was cunning and scheming. After failing to steal Fūko from Ulanda, he took the enormous risk of using illegal, future-era tech that didn't belong in this time period.

Not only did he snatch the Sealing Sword and the third bead first—He even rushed to Tokyo, contacted Ulanda, and the two instantly became allies.

Together, they revived the Wind Monster Ma Fēngkǎ right here in Tokyo to fulfill their goals.

Of course, Ulanda only agreed so readily because he didn't know Storm's true identity—that Storm was actually an archaeology expert from the 22nd century.

Otherwise, Storm could never have manipulated Ulanda so easily.

But the past was done. There was no point talking about "what ifs" anymore.

As compensation for his earlier missteps, Lin Feng now needed to figure out how to stop this monster from destroying the city.

"Huh? The transparent barrier disappeared…?"

Fat Tiger took a few steps to the side and suddenly noticed that the invisible shield—the one he punched earlier that went duang duang—had suddenly vanished. He could now freely walk toward the lakeside.

"It must've been manually shut down by Storm when he flew off in the time-craft."

Doraemon glanced over and analyzed calmly.

But whether the barrier existed or not no longer mattered.

What mattered was how they were going to deal with the massive crisis in front of them.

Even though the revived Ma Fēngkǎ hadn't absorbed Fūko and Kuroko—its power far below its original state—It was still an incredibly difficult threat for Doraemon and the others.
