Chapter 4 - Breakfast and Knowledge about World

Thinking this, I activated the ring on the side of my bed to call my butler Ronald. I needed more information about this world, so I asked him to bring me something to eat.

Soon, I heard a knock at the door. I replied, telling him to come in, and Ronald entered with a tray of breakfast.

The tray held a simple omelet, fruit juice, and a sandwich filled with vegetables and various sauces. He reached the front of my bed and said, "Master, please sit up to eat breakfast while I arrange the table for you."

Hearing this, I sat up and moved toward the table, which was also in my luxurious room. I took a seat, remembering the manners I had from childhood. The only difference now was that I had awakened memories from my previous life. Lost in thought for a moment, Ronald gracefully interrupted, saying, "Young master, your food is ready on the table. Please eat."

Brought back to the present, I noticed he had already set the breakfast on the table. I started eating slowly and gracefully while Ronald stood by, ready to attend to my needs.

After finishing my meal, I asked, "Ronald, did you have breakfast?"

He replied, "Yes, master. I already had it. Thank you for your concern."

I then said, "Ronald, I need you to provide all the information about our current business situation, household expenses, a list of our properties, and the important affairs in the city. Also, I need to go to the library, so please arrange someone to help me and send all the information there."

He responded, "Okay, master. I will arrange it immediately. Do you want to go to the academy today or should I send a leave since you feel unwell?"

I said, "Fine, Ronald. Send the information to the library and please arrange a leave of absence as I don't want to go to the academy." With that, I walked out of the room and down the long corridor, which now felt familiar thanks to my memories of both lives.

Reaching the stairs at the end of the corridor, I went up to the second floor where the library is located.

Since my parents were very wealthy, they built a mansion that included everything one could need, including a library filled with thousands of books. Once inside, I saw a woman in her mid-twenties wearing a professional suit and glasses. She was Isabella, the caretaker of the library. I knew her; she was friends with my late mother but had chosen to work as a caretaker due to financial issues.

After my parents' death, she had been a great help to me, although she preferred to spend time with books. I approached her and said, "Good morning, Aunt Isabella. I want to read some books about history, geography, and current affairs."

She looked at me and replied, "Good morning, Amar. It's surprising to see you interested in books. Maybe you're developing a new hobby. You'll find those books in the left section if you go straight from here."

With that, she returned her focus to her reading. Not wanting to disturb her, I headed to the section she mentioned. I found the books I wanted and began reading, as my understanding of this world remained foggy.

As I read, I gained new knowledge about this world, and my old memories started to clear up. I realized that this world is quite challenging. It's much larger than Earth, almost the size of Jupiter, and it has many intelligent races, martial arts, magic, and alien creatures trying to invade through dungeon gates.

Now, I was stuck in this world. Historically, martial arts had always existed here, growing alongside human technology. However, the threat from alien creatures began a thousand years ago, leading to ongoing wars. My late parents died in one such conflict, and as an orphan of war heroes, I received a significant amount of compensation.

Even after being reincarnated and regaining my memories, I still didn't remember my parents clearly. They were often away for their duties, so little Amar had limited interaction with them. Losing them in another life was not too heavy for me, as I had experienced it before. At least this time, I had a full household in my name.

With these thoughts, I focused on the geography of this world, which is divided into five continents. The northern continent is inhabited by beast races, the western continent by elves, the southern continent—once home to demon races—currently has about 30% occupied by alien creatures. The eastern continent is predominantly human, with humans also present on other continents, but the eastern continent is mainly dominated by them. The central continent has little information available, other than that it's jointly occupied by all races.

I am currently in Locknight City of Starlight Country, which is under the control of the Star Empire, one of the seven empires on the eastern continent. These seven empires not only govern the eastern continent but are also among the top powers in the world. In fact, humans are the most powerful race here; if they united, they could conquer the entire world. Unfortunately, humans have always had internal conflicts.

Summarizing all this, I left the library and greeted Isabella, who gave me a discerning look. Ignoring her gaze, I returned to my room to try and recall as many memories as I could. Some parts, especially from the past few months, were still unclear.
