''Don't go rejoicing just yet. Morning would be another round of struggle for you.'' Someone whispered behind him while they walking back to their cell.
Lucas looked back, his eyes catching the figure of a bald man with scars all over his face.
He gestured towards his hands and Lucas stared at it, his eyes widening as he saw a shard of the broken glass plate in his hands.
How did he get past it?
His question was answered when Samantha walked back towards him, patting his shoulders lightly.
''He had a way of bribing the officers so he always get a few things inside.'' He murmured, going back to the bed.
The door got shut again and Lucas plopped to the floor, staring up at Samantha.
''With money?'' He asked, raising a questioning brow.
Samantha shook his head. ''That guy is broke as shit. I guess he's giving them something else.''
Lucas nodded, staring at his hands.
He was starting to not like prison anymore.
