Chapter 6 - Parasite God

Jule stared at his status screen, a slow smile spreading across his face.

"So, the Awakening Stone couldn't even read my power," he thought with a cold glint in his eyes.

"It doesn't have the ability to detect a Unique Rank… or maybe there has never been a Unique Rank in this world before."

Excitement and curiosity surged within him as he carefully examined every line of his status, standing quietly by the edge of the ceremony field while waiting for his sister to finish her college schedule.

Jule's eyes widened slightly as he absorbed the information.

"My status… it's completely unlike anything I've ever seen or heard of," he muttered under his breath.

"A Parasite God… Just what kind of existence have I become?"

While he was deep in thought, two soft hands suddenly wrapped around him from behind, hugging him tightly.

Jule turned his head slightly, surprised for a brief moment.

Behind him stood his sister, Alena, her pink hair brushing softly against his shoulder.

Seeing her worried face, Jule's expression softened. A gentle smile formed on his lips as he reached up and placed a hand on her head, comforting her silently.

"Brother," Alena whispered softly, her voice trembling with relief.

"Brother, how did it go? Which Rank did you awaken?" Alena asked in a pleading tone, her wide eyes filled with hope and fixed on her brother's face.

"Better than I expected," Jule said calmly, a small smile playing on his lips. "I awakened a Unique Rank, one unlike anything I've ever heard of. It's incredibly powerful, so we don't need to worry about our future anymore." His voice grew serious as he leaned slightly closer to her.

"But, Alena… you must not tell anyone about this. You're the only one who can know."

Alena's eyes lit up with relief and joy. "Don't worry, brother, I won't tell anyone," she promised firmly. Then, her cheeks turned bright red, and she glanced away shyly.

"I… I have a surprise for you. Close your eyes," she said in a soft, trembling voice.

Jule raised an eyebrow at her unusual behavior but didn't think much of it. With a small chuckle, he did as she asked and closed his eyes.

A few seconds later, he felt something warm and soft press against his lips. Alena was kissing him.

His eyes shot open in shock, but before he could react, her arms wrapped tightly around his neck. The kiss quickly grew intense, lasting a whole minute as Alena poured all her hidden feelings into it.

When she finally pulled away, her face was crimson, and she whispered, almost too softly to hear,

"That's… my surprise."

Then she turned and ran toward their home, her heart pounding.

Jule stood frozen in place, completely dumbfounded.

He never realized that his sister loved him so deeply—to the point of madness.

Slowly, a complicated smile appeared on his face.

"…Alena," he muttered under his breath, watching her small figure disappear into the distance.

With that, Jule began walking after her, silently following his sister home as the evening streets buzzed with activity—vendors selling food, clothes, and hunter equipment while townsfolk busied themselves with their work.
