Jackson's POV
She's catching an attitude with me again and I can't help but be turned on by it.
The moment I have her looking up at me I can see her desires dancing in her eyes. She finally told me the setting of her dream and I was so tempted to act on it.
My mind immediately pictured all the things I want to do to her and it's taking all the strength I have not to do anything about it.
The desire I have in me is a raw, visceral thing, a scream trapped in my chest but I know the timing isn't right.
I can't act on it until she knows who I am. I'd hate for her to think I lied to her while being intimate as well. I respect her too much, so instead I warned her and walked away.
I need a cigarette to clear my mind and another drink.
Shit I forgot my laptop in the office…and I don't remember if I closed it.
I'll just get it later. I'm trying to calm a certain someone down and seeing Belinda will most certainly wake him again and derail the progress I'm making here.
I stepped out onto the balcony and light a cigarette while speaking to one of our guards Tyrone. He's actually somewhat of a friend more than just my employee. We go way back so assigning someone I trust to work for the woman I'm mesmerised by only felt fitting.
"She still doesn't know who you are man?" He asked lighting his own cigarette.
"No" I responded
"Look man, I won't tell you how to run your personal life but you not telling her could potentially put her in danger, or make her feel betrayed by you."
He's not wrong.
"I know" is all I could say in response.
"She's quite special. She's different from the others man. She's literally a beautiful cold hearted killer. Don't mess it up or she'll make me bury you Jay."
We both laughed not because it's funny but because it's true.
"Yeah I'm being careful. She wouldn't kill me either. I know it"
"Okay Jackson whatever you say. Don't say I didn't warn you."
He's always looking out for me so I do take his advice into account. I never listen…but I do receive it.
We then ended up killing time by discussing my businesses and how they're doing while we're both here.
Belinda's POV
My mind is spinning so I gulp my glass and refill it immediately.
His laptop keeps making a beeping noise and it's driving me insane. I walked over to it to close it but I saw something I wish I didn't.
I dropped my glass as soon as I saw his conversation with some guy named Liam. It's about…me…
They're talking about what I told him in the car…
How could he…?
Just as I'm trying to register what I'm seeing…a picture of…him…pops up on the screen and I nearly lost my balance.
How did he?…How did he find that picture?…Why does it look recent?…He's…he's alive?
No no no.
I need to get out of here.
I manage to leave the house without that traitor Jackson and my very nosy bodyguard Tyrone noticing. They're too busy burning their lungs to realise.
I got to my car I parked at a house down the road and drove to the address I saw on his laptop from Liam. I'm assuming it's…his.
I called my cousins Ronda and Rosline for backup and they didn't hesitate to get in their cars and bring me a hoodie and sweats.
Soon we're outside the address and I'm trying not to shake but I'm failing. This man took so much from me. He doesn't get to live and have a family.
I quickly wore what they brought me over my pyjamas and tied my hair into a bun.
"Alright so we have 3 children. One teenager, a toddler and a baby. We also have an old lady and a woman who looks like her so I'm assuming that's her mom. Then last but certainly not least, our target." Rosline informed me while looking into her binoculars.
"Nah. There's not just one target here. We're killing all of them and saving him for last." I responded fixing my gun's silencer.
"The old lady looks like she could die any second anyways so you'd be doing her a favour." Ronda added.
"It's giving last supper vibes" Rosline joined in making us laugh.
"They're seated in the kitchen having dinner as a family so we have to choose our entrance wisely." Ronda pointed out.
"The smartest way in would be the tv room because the noice from the television will help mask any noise from the door. So Rosline you use that one because you have the sniper so you can shoot comfortably from behind a couch and not have to break windows. Ronda you use the back kitchen door since you have the shotgun you'll need a closer distance. The dining table is on the other side so you're good. The door won't make noise because I'll play barking noises from my car as if someone is passing by with their dog. I'll use the main entrance and face this mf dead in the eyes."
As soon as all instructions were clear, everyone headed to their posts waiting for my signal.
Okay ladies let's have ourselves a bloody reunion.
Jackson's POV
As soon as I'm done catching up with Tyrone I decided to go get my laptop and see what updates Liam has for me.
Wtf? Why's there wine and broken glass all over the floor?
When I got to my laptop I realised Belinda definitely saw all this because she opened an attachment which is a picture of our arson survivor.
"Fuck!"
If I know her well enough, then I know she went to the address. Just to make sure, I have Tyrone come with me and track her as we drive.
Damn it Bel…
"How do I even explain what she saw to her? She thinks I'm simply a bodyguard. Now she saw things that normal bodyguards don't usually have on their computers! Damn it!"
"Yeah she's at that address Liam just confirmed with me" Tyrone tells me.
As soon as he tells me that, I step on the gas not caring about road signs at all. I know she can handle herself but what if something goes wrong and she ends up in a situation she can't get out of because I'm not there to protect her?.
Damn it Bel.
"So what's the plan?" Tyrone asked .
"Initially I was going to bring his head to her. Now she's messing with my plan but I'll let her. We're going to make sure whatever she's planning to do runs smoothly and clear the crime scene. We'll watch her do her thing from a safe distance and make sure our snipers are ready just in case."
"Cool " He simply responded loading the guns.
Belinda's POV
Okay here we go…3…2…1…
