Chapter 20 - Chapter 19

As soon as the ladies safely made it into the house, I made my move and headed to the door and knocked.

As soon as he opened the door and saw me, he nearly had a stroke.

"Hi handsome…so good to see you" I greeted as I gently tapped the gun onto his chest.

"B…Belinda…" is all he could say as I made him back up so I could enter.

"Now how did I miss your ass that day? I could have sworn you were in the house."

"Belinda please my family is here. Do whatever you want to do to me but please let my children live." He begged.

How unflattering.

When we entered the dining area, everyone at the table let out annoying screams.

"Shut up!"

Geeze, you'd swear they've never been in a situation like this before.

"Daddy what's happening?" The teenage girl asked her evil father with tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Hi sweetie, your dad isn't exactly a good person and he kind of ruined my life so I'm going to have to kill him okay?" I tried to reassure her.

The whole table started whimpering and it genuinely got on my nerves.

"Rosline! Please shut them up."

Soon Rosline appears and shoots everyone at the table right in the face.

"Ah! What the fuck! You're sick! What the fuck is wrong with you Belinda! You're an evil bitch you know that! What the fuck!"

Not this man yelling at me.

"Go on your knees and beg me to spare you. Plead your case well, because I'm not exactly as nice as you remember me to be." I warned calmly.

"Please Belinda. I'm begging you! Oh my goodness…my beautiful family…Belinda I'm sorry for everything!"

"You want me to stop torturing you and leave? Will that help with the pain you feel right now? Just tell me to stop" I teased.

"Please stop Belinda."

"See…I don't think you know what that means you prick. So no …I'll honour you by proceeding anyways."

He started crying and praying for his life and I noticed a red dot on his forehead. Our snipers have green lasers not red ones.

This can only mean one thing…Jackson's here.

"Ladies! Come look at this poor…helpless man."

We all laughed in unison, and eventually I stuck my gun down his throat and demanded he look me in the eyes.

"Now…I bet you regret the day you ever met me huh? Also can you please stop shaking? You're making me nervous."

When he closed his eyes I flicked his nose so he opened them.

I'm torn between letting him live with the memory of tonight or doing the world a favor and getting rid of him.

What to do…what to do…

Nah…

*gun shot*

"Okay girly pops this was fun. Can't wait to get together and do it again sometime. Let's go."

"What about the scene? Want me to call clean up?" Ronda asked.

"No. Jackson's here. I saw his laser on this idiots forehead, so I know they'll handle the mess and get rid of everything." I responded.

We then left and went our separate ways. I didn't even look around to see where Jackson was. I don't want to see him right now. I'm so angry about everything that just happened and I'm even more angry with him for hiding things from me.

Jackson's POV

That woman never ceases to amaze me.

She and her cousins did all that without any ounce of remorse.

I accidentally aimed at that dick's forehead and I know she saw it because she would never just wrecklessly leave a crime scene like that without looking back once. She knew I was here.

"Tyrone…handle it. Get the guys to clear all this."

He nodded and headed into the house.

I decided to light a cigarette just to gather my thoughts before I go back and face Belinda.

*incoming call-Belinda*

WTF? It's like she could sense me thinking about her.

"Hey"

-Jackson…what the hell?

"Look, I'll explain everything when I get home."

-No need, I don't care why you lied to me. I just wanted to know if you're taking care of the mess.

"I am Bel…but we need to talk about.."

*call ended*

Fuck.

I then put the cig out and headed straight home. Tyrone will be good he'll probably steal a car or something and drive home.

As soon as I get home, I notice the kitchen knife drawer is open.

As I was about to pull out my gun from behind me, Belinda came up from behind with a knife held to my throat.

I could easily take her but I'd like to see how she plans on going about this. She's strong for a girl, I'll give her that.

"Belinda what are you doing?"

"Who are you? How did you find all that information about my past in less than 24 hours of me telling you about it?" She asked bringing the knife closer.

Not gonna lie…this is kind of turning me on.

I like them crazy and unhinged.

"Put the knife down and we'll talk like grown adults."

"I don't think you heard me so I'll ask again. Who are you? I've already contacted the security company I hired you from to do a background check on you so if I were you, I'd come clean now."

Oh Belinda if you knew that you complained to me…about me…you'd be dying of laughter.

I tried my best to keep my laughter in but failed.

"You find this funny? Jackson you know what I'm capable of. I may have a soft spot for you but if I feel threatened I will kill you without hesitation. I'm only giving you the benefit of the doubt because of how I feel about you."

"Oh yeah? How do you feel about me?" I asked her, and soon felt her grip loosening.

When she completely loosened it, I grabbed her by the arm and flipped our positions within seconds. After doing so I pushed her into a wall pressing her against it gently. I then repeatedly slammed her wrist against the wall to make her drop the knife.

She groaned out of frustration, trying to get loose but I didn't move a muscle.

"Bel…I'm going to need you to calm down so we can talk like civil people okay?"

"Get…off me."

I'm not convinced she wants me to. Her breathing has increased and her body isn't tense anymore.

"Are you sure that's what you want?" I whispered then gently moved her hair away from her ear making her gasp involuntarily.

The tension is thick, but so is this lie I haven't told her about, like there's a third person in the room.

"You smell incredible," I muttered, my lips brushing the sensitive skin below her ear.

I inhaled deeply, drawing the scent of her perfume and her skin into my lungs, a sound that made her stomach clench.

"You're not going to touch me," she stated, her voice shaking not from fear, but from a barely restrained rage that felt close to desire.

"Not until you tell me the truth." She added.
