I came back from school.
I am staying at Angelo's House. Not that I want to.
While I entered the house, Gema hugged me.
I tried to push her back.
" You are back, Y/N."
"I missed you so much! " she smiled at me
Sadly, I couldn't return it back to her.
" Why are you standing there at the gate? ", she asked me and pulled my arm to take me inside.
" I made your favourite lasagna.", she told as she made me sit on the table.
" You don't need to do this ", I told her with a straight face. I didn't like what she was doing.
" Why? You are my only daughter! ", she replied
I laughed
" How did I become your daughter after all these years? ", I asked her.
She became silent.
And I lost my appetite.
I stood up and walked to my room.
" Y/N! Please, Have your food! " I heard her say as I shut the door.
I checked my phone to see any messages from dad. But there weren't any.
He must be busy.
I was on my study table when someone knocked on the door.
"Y/N. We need to talk. Now! " Angelo spoke on the other side.
I knew what was coming.
"Is that how you talk to your mother? ", he asked me
" She is not my mother. There is someone else I call my mother. So don't force me. ", I replied back.
My dad had married an another woman. Reycee.
She was the one I called mom all these years.
And now they expect me to change it.
" This doesn't change the fact that she gave birth to you.", he said while Gema was crying.
It didn't affect me.
Why didn't it affect me?
Cause when we needed her. When dad and I needed her, she didn't want us. She wanted to stay with Angelo. And that Aries.
" Why don't you send me back? ", I asked him
" I don't like it here. I want to go back to how I used to be. "
" How you used to be?", Angelo replied sarcastically
I knew what he meant
"Don't make me remind you of your actions. Your dad told me everything. And don't you forget that we are your family. ", he shouted back at me.
" You are not my family! ", I shouted back.
He slapped me hard. I fell on the ground.
" Angelo!, " I heard Gema cry
"Ma. I had enough of this girl. She needs to be taught a lesson." he told her and stormed out of the house.
Gema tried to pick me up but I refused her help.
My face burned from the impact.
Angelo sure has great strength.
Even my lip bled from his slap.
I was on the side of my bed staring at the floor.
Did I take it overboard. I shouldn't have said that much. Even though it is the truth. How can I accept her as my mother when all these years we weren't together. Since, Ma adopted Aries, she even stopped visiting us. As if she forgot me. Even, Dad used to miss her. I could see the pain in his eyes.
I hate them all.

I was still in my thoughts when I heard my phone ring.
Dad
[Hello, Y/N. How are you? ]
" I am fine, Dad. Why didn't you text me till now?Everything Alright?"
[Yes. Everything is fine. You don't need to worry. Just take care of yourself. ]
"Hmm"
[How has everyone been so far? Are you giving them trouble? ]
"Well... I don't like it here. Everyone is a nuisance. My classmates. Angelo. Aries and Gema"
[Y/N! Is this what I have taught you? Angelo is your elder brother. You need to call him Kuya Angelo and don't forget Gema is your mother.]
"No, Dad!. I don't want to say that. Have you forgotten how she left us?", I asked him with tears in my eyes.
I hate crying.
[ Y/N. She had her own reasons. Please, don't blame her. ]
" Dad."
Before I could say more. Dad continued speaking
[I need to go right now, Sweetie. Please try to be nice. For your dad. Please, Give them a chance]
He spoke before he hung up.
I stayed on my bed for hours. It was getting late but I still couldn't sleep. My body is still used to the London time.
I checked my phone and saw a message from Dad.
He had sent me a picture of car.

" Sweetie! I know you miss your car. Promise you won't cause trouble and will behave. Dad loves you."
I smiled

" I can't promise. You know that. I will try though.
And I love you 3000! "

"I will let your Kuya know. He will help you with the documents. "
Only good thing that has happened today.
I can drive my car now.

I woke up. When I checked the time. It was 6 AM.
I had only slept for three hours. I hope I don't sleep in class.
While brushing I noticed I got a bruise near my lip from Angelo's slap.
I need to apply some medicine on it.
I wore my unifrom and went to the kitchen.
" Miss, Do you need any help? ", a maid asked
" Yeah. Get me a coffee"
I went around to check the house.
This house is spacious.
I was looking for Angelo.
I had to apologize for my behavior from yesterday. Not that I wanted to. I knew dad wanted me to behave well. I don't wat to trouble him. Besides, If I want my car back, I have to behave well.
I knocked on the door
" Yeah? ", he asked me. He was still angry at me.
"I shouldn't have said that.", I tried my hard to behave well.
" Said what? ", he asked.
" You know what I mean.", I was starting to loose it.
" Is it so hard for you to say sorry? ", he asked me.
"Well...", I tried to reason.
I don't apologize if it is not my mistake.
What should I apologize for. Saying the truth.

" You really are stubborn. ", he replied back and went back in his room
He left the door open so I entered. I wanted to talk to him about the car and the documents.
" Angelo... Kuya Angelo I mean.. ", I said as I entered.
" Did dad say anything about my car to you? ", I asked him
" I get it now. You just wanted a car. You aren't here because you are guilty.", he caught through my act.
Well, we share same blood.
He really is my brother.

" Yeah. So what? ", I replied
Damn. I lost it.
" That attitude won't take you far in life. You know that? ", he replied back while giving me the key to the car.

" You don't need to worry about that.", I shot back at him.
"Well. I need to now. You dad wants me to be your guardian till you turn eighteen.", he replied back
" No way. Dad didn't talk to me about it. ", I told him
Why would dad do that?
That means I am stuck here till my graduation.
I couldn't accept what he said.
I left the room .
" Miss I have been looking for you. Here is your coffee. ", said the maid
I pushed her away unintentionally.
The cup fell down and broke spilling all the coffee.
Everyone came rushing to the spot
" Are you okay, Y/N? ", Gema checked on me
I didn't reply. I felt betrayed by dad. Is this why he was returning my car?
Gema began scolding the maid.
" It is not her fault. Don't scold her. ", I told her.
I may seem bad in attitute but I am not a bad person.
" What happened then? ", she asked me
" I pushed her away in anger.", I replied back.
"Why did you do that, Y/N? " she asked me
I felt guilty.
But I was still angry.
When I saw Angelo, I couldn't control and I stormed out of the house.
I started my car and drived to the school.
I was driving very fast out of anger.
I only stopped when I received a phone call.
Dad was calling
[Good Morning Y/N! ]
"Morning.. Dad", I replied back with no interest. I wanted to ask him about what Angelo had said earlier
[ What happened? ]
" Dad... why did you do this. Why is Angelo my guardian? Are you leaving me? , I asked him
[Oh... Y/N...]
Dad was about to explain when someone honked from behind.
I noticed I had stopped in the middle of the driveway of the school
I started the car again and parked the car.
"Yes, Dad.? "
He had hung up.
I tried calling him back but he didn't pick up.
I threw the phone on the dashboard.
Someone tapped on the window of my car.
I put down the window and I see the lollipop guy
"What is your problem? ", he asked me.
So he was the guy honking earlier.
" Hey! Are you deaf? ", he asked again
"No. Clearly I can hear your annoying voice. Wish I had rather been deaf." I replied back.
"Tss.. "
"What is with that sound? ", I asked annoyed.
He walked away.
