Chapter 10 - Chapter 10 : Illusion of Thunder

Seven days passed in silence.

On the morning of the eighth,

Chu Xuan stood at the sword platform

Where Fairy Xi Xuan awaited with several senior disciples. Her gaze was cool as always,

But inwardly, she was curious. Could He Truly Comprehend even one level in just a month, much less in seven days?

"Show me," she commanded.

Chu Xuan bowed respectfully. "Yes, Master."

With calm steps, He drew his wooden sword. His first movement was sharp as lightning, splitting the air with sheer penetrative power.

Then, without pause, he shifted to speed, his blade flickering faster than sight.

Finally, his form slowed into a rhythm That Resonated with the mountain wind itself; his sword sang in harmony with heaven and earth.

Sharpness. Speed. Resonance.

Three different Dao intents. Three manuals. All flowing seamlessly into one another, as if they had never been separate at all.

The watching disciples gasped, eyes wide. Even Xi Xuan herself momentarily lost her composure.

"…All three? In seven days?" She stepped forward, her cold eyes narrowing on him. "Did someone guide you?"

Chu Xuan lowered his gaze. "Disciple only followed your instructions and listened to the voice of the Dao. Nothing more."

Her chest rose and fell once, subtly. The disciples behind her were trembling ,

' Even inner disciples with Years of effort could not accomplish what this boy had done in mere days '

Finally, Xi Xuan flicked her sleeve. "Very well. You have earned it. For seven days, you may enter the sect's Grand Dao Library.

But do not squander This chance. Knowledge without diligence is emptiness."

Chu Xuan bowed deeply. "This disciple understands."

In the Sect Library

The Grand Dao Library was a mountain within a mountain, halls carved into Endless spirals, Filled with jade slips Glowing with Dao patterns.

Disciples could only access shelves within Their status,

But Chu Xuan's opportunity allowed him to step freely through all levels.

For seven days, He Devoured knowledge. Not only sword arts —

But Alchemy, Formations, Divine Weapon Forging, Talisman Crafting, Beast taming, Soul arts, and Dao laws of heaven and earth !

Each jade slip he touched was instantly broken down by his Creation Defying Comprehension, Integrated into his mind, Reorganized into a perfect system.

" So this world walks in fragments. Alchemy is cut off from formations, sword separated from will, Forging from Dao.

No wonder Their progress is slow. I will unify Them all into my own path."

...

The Illusionary Nascent Planet within his Creation Core glowed faintly Brighter with each piece of knowledge absorbed.

Though Resources were still Required to solidify its form, The Great Dao laws alone were weaving its surface stronger, more complete.

When his seven days ended, Chu Xuan left the library with a calm smile. Others Thought him merely diligent. Only he knew

He now possessed a foundation across all paths, far beyond what the sect imagined.

One Year Later !

A year passed. Chu Xuan remained low-profile,

Cultivating quietly in Sword Peak's ascetic cave.

To all eyes, He was Merely a Genius Outer disciple under Fairy Xi Xuan's Tutelage, Diligently Preparing for the Foundation Realm.

Then, one morning, The skies above The sect darkened. Clouds swirled, Thunder roared.

A storm of Tribulation lightning Gathered above the Tribulation Peak,

Where disciples traditionally faced Heavenly tests !

"Who is breaking through?"

"It's Chu Xuan, Fairy Xi Xuan's disciple!"

"In just a year? Already reaching Foundation Realm?"

Crowds gathered, whispering in awe.

Fairy Xi Xuan herself appeared at the mountain's edge, her cold eyes fixed on the figure sitting cross-legged below

The storm. The lightning was vast, oppressive — stronger than most ordinary Foundation Tribulations,

Yet still within the bounds of possibility.

The first bolt struck, shaking the Mountain. Chu Xuan's clone raised a Hand, Guiding his sword intent upward. The thunder split and dissolved.

The crowd cheered.

Bolt after bolt descended. His wooden sword cracked under the force, But He Remained unmoved, Qi flowing like Rivers, Defying The storm.

Finally, The Ninth bolt split the Heavens, Crashing down with a roar That blinded all eyes.

When the smoke cleared, Chu Xuan's clone stood within a newly-formed Foundation core Aura, steady and unbroken.

The sect erupted in applause. "A Flawless Foundation!

He truly is a genius!"

Fairy Xi Xuan watched silently, her gaze unreadable.

Yet even she nodded once in acknowledgment. "Not bad."

To all, it was the tale of a prodigy Forging the strongest Foundation within a year.

But the truth was otherwise.

In the Deep Spatial Void

Far from the sect, In a Rift between Space itself,

The true Chu Xuan floated in Meditation. His body glowed with countless Dao runes,

his Illusionary Nascent Planet Trembling on the edge of Transformation.

Three days before the tribulation,

He had already left a clone behind and Stepped into this void,

Where no eye could reach him. Here, He attempted the true breakthrough —

Nascent Soul Realm !

The void Quaked. Great Dao Threads wove around him like rivers of starlight. His soul expanded,

Pushing against The fragile shell of the planet within his core.

" One clone Deceives The Heavens… while the true me Transcends Them.

" This is the Path of the Sovereign !!!

Thunder echoed faintly even in the void — But this was no mere Foundation Thunder.

This was the roar of a Universe being Born !
