Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The start of a beginning

How do you start a story? Some authors start at the beginning, laying clear rules of what is and isn't. Some drop you off in the middle letting you figure what has and hasn't been. And the last type of author drops you off at the end. Letting the story be narrated by the protagonist or another person who knows the full story. This story is all of them. A changing story narrated by the protagonists first true helper. Who I am? You may ask? Well that's for you my dear reader to figure out.

We start on a peaceful afternoon a long time ago. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming. And all the kids are frolicking around. Well all except one, an orphan taken in by the town. A boy called Aurion. He was busy helping the woman sew. His mismatched eyes focusing clearly on the needle as it pierced the cloth in and out.

This was not a new sight for the town. Aurion was known to help where he could and he had an insatiable hunger for knowledge , whether it be sewing, planting, carpentry or even leading a town! At the age of 12 he had mastered everything they could teach him.(with the help of my ever so thoughtful gift of course).

That is until one day a knight appeared. Sir Ector he was called. He (on the order of the king) was checking for potential recruits to train. And well, sir Ector was nothing if not loyal to his commands and traveled town to town to find children and young adults to train to become a knight. And in this unnamed town, he found Aurion, a boy who's talent seem to surpass all his students. So Aurion went with sir Ector to join the knights.

And so it began. Aurion trained under Ector growing rapidly. And after two years of hard work he had the strength to back up his technique. Sire Ector pleased with his growth introduced Aurion to a beautiful "boy" called Arthur. And this is where his story really starts.
