Sheryl pointed to the corner where they usually sat: "Shall we go to the usual spot? It's quiet there."
Coincidentally, Summer Lowell also planned to have an earnest conversation with her tonight and maybe probe her intentions: "I think that spot is good too, let's sit there."
After they took their seats, a familiar bartender approached: "Good evening, ladies! It's been a while since I last saw you both!"
Sheryl chuckled and placed her right hand on Summer Lowell's shoulder: "Our Director Lowell is quite a busy person."
"The busier you are, the more you need to relax," the bartender smiled as he placed the napkins, "What would you like to drink tonight?"
"I'll have the usual," Sheryl snapped her fingers, then turned with a smile to look at Summer Lowell, "What about you, Summer?"
"Same as you," Summer replied absentmindedly, right now she just wanted to ask Sheryl why she insisted on pretending they were close.
