Chapter 5 - Both sides engaged in battle.

The dark elves were a proud race, in fact, the entire Elven kind were proud of themselves, proud that they could use the magic that no one else in this mortal realm could. The light elves were conservative; they stood by their traditions and practices. The dark elves were the exploring kind, they ruled every rule placed upon the Elven kind by their gods and flew past their continent 'Twilight Forest'.

The Elven were banished from the other continents because of a treason they did thousands of years ago. Their blades are still wet from that treason's blood. The light elves accepted their faith and stood on their part of the continent around the Elven great sapling called the 'dawn of light'.

But the dark elves were not like their long-time cousins. They were rigid to control. Their motive was simple.

Who much force they place on us; we retaliate with equal measure.

Hence, they turned pirated raiding the ships that sailed past the great reaches of the golden sea between the human and Elven kingdoms.

The dark elves were experienced shadow casters. Mages prominent in controlling the shadows and bending them to their will. This allowed them to act as assassins, scouts and other kinds of secretive jobs. But pirating showed their power and their hatred.

The human fleet of one mother ship and four sister ships was sailing across the golden sea. It was delivering something or someone to the embassy of the Draconia that was situated deep inside the cyclone ocean that spread after the golden sea.

It was about to cross into the cyclone sea when one of the sister ships sank to the ground, the captain and the other soldiers were thrown into a state of confusion as to what happened.

After few seconds few logs of pale white wood rose from the sea and floated completely up. It had a small hole at the top. The hole was only small when compared to the log, when near any person could say it was a small cave entrance. The logs were gargantuan, each roughly double the side of the sister ships and half the side of the mother ships.

There were 8 of them. Two on either side, and three in the front and one in the back. The one at the back had some kind of glass strip flowing in the middle of it, allowing the people inside it to see the outside.

A male voice came out of the lone log. It was sharp, clean and authoritative.

"Hand your goods over and return." it spoke as another sister ship sank.

The humans did not lose their morale as they return fired at the Elven vessels. In the middle of the golden sea and the cyclone ocean.

Both sides engaged in battle.
