LSylven: "That's the world you're standing in now. The Titans are gone… but the Ascendants? They're worse."
Loma: "Were there any other eras before the Titans?"
Sylven: "Yes. The very beginning… the Vanguard Generation."
[Flashback begins]
Sylven's tone sharpens, almost reverent.
"That was the birth of street dominance. Before gangs, before territories, before even the idea of syndicates — the streets of Kaijura were lawless.
No maps. No rulers. No order.
Only individuals. Men and women so powerful, their names alone could silence entire neighborhoods. They didn't need armies. One person was enough.
They fought not for money, not for empire… but for reputation. For honor. To carve their name into history as the strongest."
[Brief Visual Glimpse]
Two figures collide in a forgotten alley — fists meeting with such force the walls crack, dust filling the night. Crowds gather in silence, watching, not daring to interrupt.
Sylven:
"But flames that burn too bright… burn out too fast.
That was the curse of the Vanguards. Their glory devoured them. And like dying stars, one by one, they collapsed.
That… was the end of the Vanguard Generation.
And even so… many still call them the strongest generation to ever exist."
[Flashback fades — Sylven stares into the distance.]
