Tho they were considered the strongest generation of all the generations that came before and afterwards…
But in this generation, two legends stood above all:
Shogun Raizou and Arata Kurogane.
I will tell you how such a strong generation came to an end.
The Vanguard collapsed because of their pride.
They lived only for glory. For them, a legend who lost once was no longer a legend.
That pride drove them into endless battles. Rivalries. Betrayals. Ambushes.
And then came the infamous Night of the Clash.
Shogun Raizou and Arata Kurogane faced one another in their final duel.
Their battle lasted ten hours. Streets burned, walls crumbled, and dozens of fighters were slain in the chaos of their clash. When the dust settled, both men lay on the ground, bloodied and broken. The duel ended in a draw.
Neither man truly won. Shogun was never seen again. Arata was rumored to have died from his wounds.
Without their leaders, the rest of the Vanguards tore themselves apart. Their streets drowned in betrayal and blood. Legends murdered legends, each desperate to be remembered as the strongest.
The age of the Vanguards ended not with glory… but with corpses piled high in the alleys of Kaijura.
And from that ruin came the next era.
The Generation of Titans.
They carried with them the one lesson carved into the grave of the Vanguards:
Strength alone isn't enough. You need dominance.
