And that was the end of the generation of vanguard.
[Back to Loma]
Loma's eyes fixed on Sylven.
Loma: "Was there an era before the Vanguard too?"
Sylven: "Yes… but it's not worth knowing about."
Loma: "I still want to know."
Sylven lets out a sigh.
Sylven: "Listen then."
[Flashback]
Pre-Gen — also known as the Generation Zero.
Before the Generation of Vanguard, there was no such thing as a street fighting culture.
No territories. No legends. No reputations.
Violence was survival.
These weren't gangs or crews, but scattered fighters, brawlers, mercenaries, ex-soldiers, and criminals.
They didn't fight for pride or glory like the Vanguard. They fought to eat, to live, or to protect their scraps of ground.
Think of them as the primordial beasts of the city. Not refined. Not legendary. But brutal and raw.
The Pre-Gen never reached the mythic status of the First Generation because they had no unity, no rivalries, no philosophy.
They were wild dogs, not kings. Their stories were passed only as rumors.
They laid the foundation, but had no structure — too chaotic to inspire respect.
Those who survived came to be known as the Generation Zero.
[Back to Present]
Sylven: "That's where it all began, Loma. Chaos… before legacy."
