For the most part, the issue has been resolved!
Initially, Yami was eager to find out how his current strength compared to the world of "One Punch Man." However, after recent events, it seems he's surpassed even his own expectations.
Even Vaccine Man, at the peak of Dragon-level power, was no match for him — at least not anymore.
Where exactly Yami's limits lie remains unclear, but it's safe to say that no one in the so-called Hero Association can challenge him right now. Perhaps only the mysterious S-Class Rank 1 hero, Blast, might pose a significant threat. But without a direct battle, it's impossible to say who would come out on top.
After all, Yami now stands beside the strongest man in the world.
With this thought in mind, Yami glanced toward Saitama, a curious glint in his eyes.
The man before him seemed ordinary at first glance.
Yami couldn't sense any energy from Saitama's body. Although he could still detect a faint presence, everything else remained a mystery.
There was no noticeable difference in Saitama's energy, blood, or aura compared to a regular person.
It was hard to imagine how Saitama could achieve such feats.
"He's truly a mystery. That limiter… it's fascinating. I wonder if I could break my limiter too?" Yami pondered. "In a way, adventurers experience a kind of sublimation that could be seen as breaking the limiter, with the help of the gods, of course."
These thoughts swirled in Yami's mind as he slowly approached Saitama.
Now that they were face to face, Yami figured it wouldn't hurt to get acquainted. After all, he'd be dealing with this guy for quite a while.
Deep down, Yami had a secret ambition: to defeat the bald-headed man before him with his own hands.
Although Yami typically maintained a calm demeanor, his fighting spirit and competitive nature ran deep. He rarely showed it because he hadn't encountered a worthy opponent — until now.
Yami wanted to see if he could push Saitama to unleash his full power.
"Wow, it's over already?"
Saitama spoke first before Yami could say anything.
"You're really strong, man! That glowing energy you used earlier was awesome! Is that your superpower? It looked so cool!"
Saitama was sharing his honest thoughts. During Yami's battle with Vaccine Man, Saitama had witnessed everything, clearly impressed by the figure standing before him.
Especially the way Yami's hair had fluttered wildly in the storm.
Saitama was a bit envious. He had once had short, handsome hair, but that was a thing of the past. His hair had vanished as his strength grew. Even now, thinking about it made him a little uneasy.
"It was alright, but thank you for letting me fight that guy." Yami responded, then introduced himself. "By the way, my name is Yami."
"I'm Saitama, a hero for fun!" Saitama reached out and shook Yami's hand.
It didn't take long for the two to get acquainted.
"Saitama, now that the crisis is over, what are you planning to do next?" Yami asked.
"I'm probably heading home. But on the way, I might stop by the supermarket. There could be some discounted specials!"
As Saitama said this, beads of sweat appeared on his forehead, and panic crept into his expression.
"Crap! I've been out here for too long. It's almost too late!"
"I've got to run, man. I live in City Z, so if you're ever around, come find me! Later!"
Without giving Yami a chance to respond, Saitama quickly dashed off. His speed was so fast that the afterimages of his legs were barely visible.
In the blink of an eye, Saitama had disappeared from sight, and his presence was fading away rapidly.
"He's exactly like how I remembered him." Yami muttered. "He's strong, but not as unbeatable as I imagined. I might not be able to defeat him right now, but it's not impossible."
For now, the encounter was over.
But there would undoubtedly be a battle between them in the future, and Yami hoped that when the time came, they'd be able to truly test each other's limits.
As he watched Saitama's fading silhouette, Yami turned his gaze toward the destruction around him. The battlefield was a mess.
"What now?" he sighed.
All around him, strangely dressed people lay scattered on the ground, battered and bruised. They were clearly beaten down by Vaccine Man.
These were professional heroes from the Hero Association. Judging by their strength, they were likely A-Class, powerful figures in this world — yet still helpless against a monster like Vaccine Man.
"Yami-kun, are you done?"
A familiar voice made Yami turn. Hephaestus and the other two goddesses descended from the sky, observing the ruined environment with frowns.
"Were all these people defeated by that monster?" Hephaestus asked.
"Yes, they're all heroes from an organization called the Hero Association. Their job is to handle emergencies and large-scale crises."
The goddesses nodded, understanding the situation.
"So, what should we do with them? Just leave them here?" one of the goddesses inquired.
"No need to worry about them," Yami replied. "The Hero Association will probably send help soon. It's not our business to interfere."
Yami wasn't eager to deal with the Hero Association right now. He had yet to figure out his next move and didn't want to make contact with them just yet.
"So, where to now?" Hestia asked.
"Let's find a place to stay for now. We'll explore this world a bit and decide what to do from there."
"Sounds good!"
