"Now we can fight to our heart's content!"
"Let me see what makes you the so-called 'Ultimate Weapon.' You'd better be more impressive than Watchdog Man, or I'll be very disappointed."
A proud smile spread across Yami's face as he fixed his gaze on the approaching Tatsumaki.
Despite her youthful appearance, this woman exuded a terrifying aura that fully ignited his fighting spirit.
"Perhaps this is the pinnacle of human potential."
"I hate that title, you pervert," Tatsumaki spat back.
"But don't worry. I'll show you my true power. The moment you laid hands on me, your death was sealed!"
"Go to hell!!!"
Tatsumaki's eyes flashed with a kaleidoscope of colors.
In the next instant, an overwhelming psychic energy burst forth, surpassing anything from before. Though invisible, the force caused the mirrored space to tremble violently, and countless buildings were shattered in an instant.
At this moment, Tatsumaki's full power was unleashed.
The 'tsundere little girl' had finally decided to get serious.
And that's exactly what Yami had been waiting for.
"What a magnificent world," he whispered with a haughty smile.
In truth, if one were to compare, the world of Nasu Verse isn't so different from the One Punch universe.
In fact, it might even be more terrifying. Countless top-tier warriors exist, but they are confined to the Hall of Valor and cannot usually enter the world of the living.
Even when summoned, their strength is limited.
There's no comparison to a living, breathing body.
As one of the three legendary warriors once said, "Only in the heat of battle does one feel their blood boil."
Still, you know how things played out during the Fifth Holy Grail War.
On the surface, it seemed like Gilgamesh was going all out, but who knows if she was holding back?
Yami was convinced that his victory in the end came down to a lot of luck. The King of Uruk isn't someone to be taken lightly.
But those thoughts would have to wait. For now, there was a battle in front of him that demanded his full attention.
"Bring it on!"
The sword of vowed victory materialized in Yami's left hand, while a black glow converged on his right. After a long absence, Hephaestus's spear appeared once again.
Facing Tatsumaki, Yami was now at the peak of his power.
"Spear and Sword? How flashy," Tatsumaki sneered as she raised her right hand sharply.
A psychic blade formed and slashed toward Yami's waist with such speed that few could react.
But Yami did.
Sensing the attack, he swung his sword instantly, colliding with the psychic blade.
The force of the impact sent him skidding backward, his feet digging deep trenches into the ground.
"You reacted, huh? Let's see how you handle this!"
Seeing her ranged attack fail, Tatsumaki abandoned her tests.
A brilliant green aura burst from her body, and she immediately applied her telekinesis to Yami, twisting his body from all directions.
The crushing force was overwhelming, and Yami knew one thing for certain: if he stopped resisting, Tatsumaki's power could easily twist him into a pretzel. Her psychic abilities were terrifying.
This was the essence of true power.
Among all powers in the multiverse, telekinesis might seem basic and overused, but it's also one of the most fearsome.
What Yami couldn't quite grasp was how Tatsumaki could wield such incredible psychic force without any apparent strain on her body.
But Yami wasn't curious about such things. He didn't need to understand how her power worked.
"I can't let you have your way! If I fail here, Hephaestus will lose confidence in me, and that's a problem I can't afford."
"Psychic powers are a hassle, but it's time to get serious."
A smirk crept across Yami's face as a vast surge of magical energy flooded his body, transforming into silver armor that enveloped him in an instant.
The armor helped to resist part of Tatsumaki's telekinetic force.
"I told you not to fly around in a skirt. Why don't you ever listen?"
A voice rang out behind her, making Tatsumaki's face twist in shock.
"?!!! When?!"
She spun around, eyes wide in disbelief as she saw Yami had somehow appeared behind her. She moved to strike.
But Yami was faster.
With a swift slash, his sword, infused with magic and haki, cut through the air.
Tatsumaki's figure shot toward the ground like a meteor, breaking through the sound barrier.
RUMBLE!
A deafening roar filled the sky.
Like a falling star, Tatsumaki crashed into the earth, sending tremors through the ground. Cracks spread in all directions, and a terrifying storm ripped through the sky.
Boulders were lifted into the air as the landscape was decimated by the impact.
In the aftermath of the attack, Yami hovered midair, staring at the massive crater below, smoke and dust rising into the air. Yet, there was no trace of satisfaction on his face.
His expression remained neutral.
His observation haki had already informed him: Tatsumaki's aura hadn't weakened in the slightest.
"I'm impressed. A direct hit, and yet you're still standing. You're definitely on a different level than Watchdog Man, Tatsumaki!"
His voice, calm and understated, stood out in the chaotic environment.
The smoke began to clear, and from beneath the rubble, a green light flickered, pushing aside the rocks that buried it.
The petite figure of Tatsumaki reemerged, unharmed.
